Teepee Blip #1

So why do this? Why separate yourself into a discomfort zone? Why go to such trouble? Why weaken your flesh with fasting, and leave all the comforts of home?

Because it opens portals of the Spirit dimension. There are certain things that do that when the vale of the flesh is weakened.

As I’ve opened my Bible…here today…the Spirit took me to John the Baptist. Luke 1:15 says: “…; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost even from the womb of his mother.”

How? How is that possible? But that is the key to the power to change hearts. It goes on to say, “he will turn many”. In verse 17 > “in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts…” The power to turn hearts! The Holy Spirit!

This Gideon army I see will have power because they are filled with the Holy Spirit. It is what the Gospel teaches even from the very beginning of our Lord’s ministry, even starting before his birth, with John, the forerunner of Christ. He was filled with the Holy Spirit even before birth! And he lived in the discomfort zones of the deserts.

“And the little child continued to grow and waxed strong in spirit; and was in the deserts until the day of his showing unto Israel.” Luke 1:80

I am here seeking God in this way because I know I need more of the Holy Spirit. In this darkness rushing in, there must still be great light. Modern church has forgotten. They have a form of godliness, but deny the power thereof. They deny the Holy Spirit! They that hunger and thirst after righteousness shall be filled. The hunger in my flesh is nothing compared to the hunger in my spirit this day. I have set this time apart for a fresh filling, if God will bless me so.

Grandpa White Feather / 12-13-18

20181102_114913 I can’t believe its been 2 months since my last entry already, and during that time many good things and much progress has been made. The purpose of this blog site is now two-fold. 1.) It is historical information concerning church history and how we left a “Table relationship” which Christ established, and returned to more of a “Temple relationship”, a relationship I decided I would do my best to leave, and thus was created “Fellowship of the White Path”, a church different. This site is a record of my personal journey to this discovery if you are industrious enough to study it for yourself. The articles are already written, plenty of them, and I do not need to write more. One must simply be willing to dig deeper into this site. But the journey with the Teepee continues, and I will occasionally give updates.

2.) Since the history is already written, and those who want to really know the truth about “Temple or Table” will be willing to search, I have recently been inspired to simply share short excerpts from my journals. I constantly journal. These will simply be spiritual and philosophical type thoughts that I feel worth sharing.

So…perhaps it is “3” fold. 1.) Historical records and personal journey already written. 2.) Quick updates as to the progress of Teepee and spiritual retreat. 3.) Thoughts from the journals of Grandpa White Feather.

And since “thoughts from my journals is the new thing, I will start with that, written just today, and I will leave you with some pictures and a few quick update comments. Assuming anyone is interested in these things I do, we will continue to do this, probably on a very irregular basis, as the Spirit inspires. Here’s my journal for today:

What is the least amount we can be the most happy with? (This question, this thought occurred to me today, worded in just this way.) That amount is worth fighting for. But there is the “Law of Diminishing Return”, and most people fail to heed the wisdom of that Law.

What is the least amount that makes me the most happy? Where is my level of contentment? Am I ever simply content?

With God, less becomes more. Poverty becomes rich. Jesus told a rich church they were actually poor, and ready to be spewed out of his mouth. He also told a poor church they were actually rich.

God’s Word says godliness with contentment is great gain.

Journal Ends

I spent 2 weeks actually living in the Teepee as very bad November weather rushed in. We even had fifty mile an hour winds one day! But we now have a working wood stove. The bedroom chamber has made progress with floor laid and a swinging hatch door on inside wall to enter it, but I did fail to get it ready soon enough. It’s still not able to be used. And without a nice warm sleeping place, two weeks in the Teepee was enough for now.

I came home to the city house and cut it in half! It’s not a big house to begin with, but with a little innovation, I saw I could save on our utility bills by creating a Murphy bed in our living room. This was an interesting challenge. It’s been very successful. And now I can slowly turn the back half of house into a studio apartment. Completion of this project is way down the road, but for now, just saving on utilities is a big blessing, and I’m actually really enjoying the new set-up.

I end with pictures of teepee and house;  and yes, the pictures will fall off the shelves if I don’t remove them before lowering bed, but it only takes like one minute, and since I’m retired now, it’s certainly not a problem.

Inner Circle – continued.

20181007_154219 God Task + Inner Circle + Prayer + Simplicity = God Balance / Peace.

The Grand Opening with our Teepee was a “HUGE” hit! This picture shows 3 of the grandkids having a great time on the rope swing inside Teepee. There were 17 of us all together, including my mom and dad, great grand parents. Four Generations!

In the Church early days, people used their homes for gatherings. Was that of necessity or intentional? Many feared something would be lost when large buildings began to be used. I see a common challenge in our Churches today, as many are waking up to the need to be more than a gathering, but to be “family”.

I believe the strong “discipleship format” of the early Church created close relationships and family. I also believe “homes” were best suited for that. The Church today is wrestling with trying to get back that “spiritual family” relationship while in very expensive modern buildings that do not feel like home or family.

The most successful youth ministry I ever had was in my home! It was amazing the kids who were being attracted to it. Many of them had single parents and broken homes. They were actually drawn to the family/home atmosphere we had. But I think it is even bigger and deeper than that. I think that is why Jesus did it the way he did, and he was showing us that true religion is more about a “Table” than a “Temple”.

It was a hot day, so we had the inside table and an outside. My truck tailgate was part of that. Chicken was roasting on outside grill, while others roasted a hotdog in the indoor chiminea. Cold lemonade was the main drink. The fellowship was awesome. We had a perfect atmosphere for fellowship. We had Table Ministry, plus food, rope swing, a secret fort for the kids, and archery for the adults. And what would all that be without the opportunity to chop wood? Here’s some various pictures >

There are many more pictures that could be shown, but the point is: Family/Fellowship. Real relationships. Table Ministry, like the Lord’s Supper, not short form Temple programs.

Do you have an Inner Circle in which you are involved in Table Ministry and real discipleship? This is real Church Jesus way.

Our next article will move on from the Inner Circle element of our Formula, but I hope you don’t forget the importance of this element. Table Ministry/ Discipleship is near and dear to the heart of God. Modern Churches are struggling to make this work. Some are trying to force something that should come naturally. I heard a preacher preach the other day that he was “forcing” his people into the streets. They had a program they hoped would accomplish this. I’m sorry, I’m glad they got the big picture now, but I still think they are misguided on the “how”. Just my opinion. Many religions force their people into the streets. God looks on the heart. He looks for the cheerful giver, and so on.

So… here is one last picture of the names growing on our “Signing Wall”. To sign the wall a person must have done something benefiting the Teepee, or visit three times. On third visit you can sign the wall. I’ve painted short messages on outside Teepee also, so I’ll leave you with 3 pictures. Grandpa White Feather saying, until the next time, happy trails to you.

It looks so calm on this side of Teepee. Everything was happening on the other side. LOL.

The Formula – Part 2

100_3284 The Teepee has come so far from this place, as you shall see, but let’s talk more about our personal God Task, one very important part of our Formula. This Teepee has been a God Task to me, and not a small one at that. That’s a very large tree you see through the Teepee frame, and I have built this by myself. I had help only one day, when raising the first three legs.

The Formula is meant to bring “Balance” to our living, so we can enjoy peace, simplicity, depth, things of true value, and not be the slave of this world’s rat race. Let the rats run the race, not those who believe in a higher way. What do you want your life to teach? Do we speak of a higher way, but run with the rats? What kind of teaching is that? You do realize we’re all teaching someone, right? That’s the next part of “The Formula”, that Inner Circle of Influence.

How can we find OUR God Task? And what does it say of us? What does it preach? How can we be certain of what it is? And how does finding that bring peace to my life, rather than just more chaos, guilt, and stress? Well… for one thing… your God Task COMPLETES you.

Without it you’re not satisfied inside, and that dissatisfaction causes you to chase MANY things instead of being able to FOCUS on the FEW things that truly give MEANING to who God created you to be. Chasing these MANY things that do not satisfy is the reason you’re so unbalanced, stressed, and near exhaustion. Not to mention how much this is likely ageing you. It’s a very unhealthy lifestyle. But many people care more about what others think of them, than their own health, or even what God thinks. (Sad to say, but true.) As a result, their life ends up teaching what the world pressures them to teach, and not what they really wish they could.

Trust me, you don’t want to find yourself at the end of your life having pleased the world, but never found yourself. Your “God creation – God design”, is a DNA you cannot get away from. You will never feel completed as long as you ignore who you were designed to be, your God design. Therefore, your God Task is connected to who you really are, and the things of this world, ARE NOT. So don’t be fooled any longer. It is the truth that sets us free. God truth.

The Teepee came to me as I left the modern American Church, because I was finally convinced it wasn’t me who was messed up, but it was up to me to finally pursue what I believe to be scripturally true, in spite of what the so-called experts may be saying. I was hungry for more of God, but didn’t know where to go. My experience has been, that if you truly desire God, you will begin to get the vision for your life. In a very short time, God began revealing to me, that I had a place I could begin to develop into something special he had in mind, and my heart began seeing a large Teepee, of all things.

God had been setting me up for this for a while. My wife and I got interested in “Tiny Houses”, but after some study of the situation, decided it was not for us. Still, a certain seed, a certain interest had been planted. And then there was a desire to connect more to my Grandkids. But how?

Admittedly, there are many ways to connect, but we had this “place”, and what was I supposed to do with it? One thing kept leading to another. Then came the idea of Grandpa White Feather. I was hungry for more of God, and God was leading me to a divine task. I talked to my parents about building the Teepee behind the barn. They thought it was a great idea. This was a green light, and I started the huge project with great interest and delight.

A few months after I started building, someone spoke to me about early retirement, and I felt led to do so. One day at a time I have been on the journey of “one” of my God Task, for no life is simply one thing, but we must control how many things. I started this blog so I could share this journey and preach this message in a different way. God put the writer/teacher design in me. It has been a natural flow. I love it. But let me show you a few newer pictures of the Teepee. It’s still a work in progress, and every month brings considerable changes. I’m about to go multi-colored with outside of Teepee, but hasn’t quite happened yet.

There are now three windows in the Teepee. You can also see air vents I added at bottom. That tarp flap at the top can be opened and closed by ropes I ran up and over tree limbs. But let’s go inside.

20180926_130339

That’s a wall I recently installed. It’s attached to 700 pounds of concrete in the ground. Very solid wall. It’s also our “White Feather Signing Wall”. Anyone who has benefited the Teepee in some way, gets to sign the wall. The wall is new and we have a few people not yet signed, but coming soon to do so. (We had people signing a beam before, but we are transferring them to this wall, and keeping the original dates of 2017, or whatever their date was.)

20180926_161740 When I first started the Teepee, I wasn’t sure how God was going to use this. It’s not in a big city. It’s isolated. I couldn’t help but wonder if I was putting a lot of time and effort into something that would only have very small impact? However, I have been amazed at the people who have been touched and affected by this Teepee, not to mention people reading this blog site, of which I have no way to know, in most cases, who really reads and who does not? You can sort of tell, and there are a few of you who really read. I thank you so much, and I hope this helps you find a path of simplicity and depth in Christ as well. Here is a workbench I just installed, in which I hope to use wood to create works that teach our message. Like wood plaques and so on.

20180927_163057 In next article we look at the “Inner Circle” of the Formula. Jesus had his Inner Circle. He had the 70, the 12, and the 3. We all have an Inner Circle of Influence, but what are we doing with it? Does it bring value, meaning, purpose, and balance to our life? Or have we not really developed our Inner Circle in a way like Jesus DID? WDJD. This too, can bring balance or chaos to our daily living. Let us truly follow Christ.

Again, begin to hunger after God if you do not know who and what he created you to be and do. You will only be half a person without knowledge of your God Task, and you will chase many things trying to satisfy that hunger, only to no avail. And you will teach that same sad life to others as well. The “Herd Mentality” is a path well trodden by the masses. It takes a truly wise person to leave the herd, and hear the voice of God.

The Formula

2711 Eventually the truth comes out. Sometimes it may seem to come out too late, but when it does, the “fakers” are revealed, the liars are shamed, and the faithful are grateful they hung on to TRUTH!

If you’re familiar with the show “Singing in the Rain”, you know a very untalented lady was getting away with fooling everyone until… until… until silent movies were no longer silent! At that point her lack of true talent became more and more difficult to hide, and the person who should have been getting the credit, eventually became a true star. Until then, the “faker” was stealing from her! She grew more and more bold in her shameful pride, taking advantage of an honest and good hearted person, and seeming to feel no guilt about it. I wonder how often this happens? I don’t know, but I know it happens too much.

Sad to say, politics seems to be the devil’s playground for this very thing. But I don’t write about politics, unless it’s the government of the Kingdom of God, and today I want to begin getting into my personal formula for finding God Balance and staying God Centered. You see, the truth eventually comes out, and all those Churches who have twisted what Jesus was about, won’t be able to hide it for long. More is being revealed every day.

So we must look at WDJD. (What Jesus actually did.) The example he gave us. When I did this, I came up with a few things I have put into my own personal formula for spiritual balance, and perhaps it can help you too? You might even have something to add. Please feel free to share.

So…my formula goes something like this:

God Task + Inner Circle + Prayer + Simplicity = Balance and Flow… i.e. True Surrender. (The Fight of “No Fight”).

Please note, this may look like a “do list” of “7” things, but it’s really only “4”.

God Task + Inner Circle + Prayer + Simplicity =.

Remember, we’re talking about how to find and maintain a God pleasing “Balance”. Tonight we take a quick look at the first item in the formula, your “God Task”. Do you even know what it is? Can you hear the voice of God to know your personal task? Do you care? Consider how if you know what your personal “Task / Vision” is, how that begins to bring focus and order to your life, if you do it correctly! If you simply add it to an already overly busy list of events and chores, it can bring more chaos and stress!

There are several things to consider here. First of all, can you hear that voice? If we were talking face to face, would you be able to tell me the personal “priority” God has been laying on your heart? And I don’t mean something like I need to pray more. This is about your “function” in the body of Christ. This is about the “thumb” being about doing the work of the thumb. If you say “pray more”, then that means you are called to be a Prayer Warrior and should have a prayer ministry. We’re talking this is your ministry from God. It is the ministry of the thumb to be the thumb, and it’s not the same as what the neck does. The body of Christ has an assignment. Are we performing our “specific” part?

When I was considering how I find balance in my own life, and comparing it to Jesus, I know I’m very much a “vision” sort of guy. Give me the big picture, Lord, and let me go for it! Let it set me on fire and consume me! Let it force everything else in my life to orbit around it, not the other way around. I want everything to orbit around my “God Task”, not try to fit my God Task into an already over crowded agenda. And I see the same in what Jesus DID. He knew his God-given task, and it centered Him.

I’d like to spend a little time on this first element of the Formula. I’d like to share a few things about the “Teepee” in my life. In the meantime, think about what your personal God Task is? That one thing that stands out above everything else. If you’re honest with yourself, do you know what it is? If so, does your life orbit around your assignment from God? If you don’t know what it is…why not? Too busy? A sure sign of an out-of-balance life. Why continue in shallowness and complexity when you can have simplicity and depth? A good first step in the right direction is honestly asking God…“Lord, is there something special you want me to do?” Is there a VISION I am failing?

If done correctly, your God Task will bring peace, joy, serenity, and satisfaction to your daily living. It will give you a fire-burning reason to get out of bed every day, even when you don’t feel like it. Especially when you don’t feel like it. So says Grandpa White Feather. More soon. Hope you enjoy.

Peace we have; and peace we teach.

Proper Balance

20171202_173614 Hi! Grandpa White Feather here. It all starts with the proper foundation. Jesus, the Master Carpenter and High Priest after the order of Melchizedek, laid the perfect foundation for his Church. This foundation is perfectly square and perfectly level. This foundation is perfect, but then man began building upon it.

Most of this blog site has been about my spiritual journey of leaving the modern American Church in search of something closer to what Jesus actually did, because we have drifted so far from the original pattern. Our modern Church is more like a big business than our Father’s house. Jesus came revealing to us the “Father”. The Church he birthed is a type of the Father’s House, but we have turned it into a den of thieves and every other worldly way. Is this my Father’s House?

We have spoke much of these things in earlier articles. We have taken this spiritual journey together, and it is still there for anyone to study. I started this blog as a personal tool, so I could use it as I personally teach others. It’s as a text book for me. So whether anyone reads this site or not, it is still very useful in my personal teachings with people. I will continue growing it until there is no need to grow anymore.

So… it’s time to begin asking some new questions. The answers to our previous questions have brought us to a place more perfectly “square” and “level”. We have gotten back closer to what Jesus actually did. So where do we go from here? With our new knowledge, what new light does it shine on every aspect of our spiritual life and journey? What kind of powerful life can we have in Christ as a result of the new knowledge we possess? It’s time to ask those questions and pioneer our new frontier. As always, our goal is a life that soars more, and flaps less…i.e. supernatural.

As I talked to God about this, it seemed to me that finding our proper balance is such an important first step. We all talk about seeking balance in our life. We all recognize how difficult that can be in our modern lifestyle. If I can help even one person, including myself, find that proper balance of God, then I have gained a great treasure. If there is a way of maintaining spiritual balance, so much so that the world can no longer rock your boat, disturb your peace, confuse your passion and purpose, then we have gained a great treasure, and become a rich person. We become rich in the true riches of eternity.

Still to this day I enjoy the pleasure of riding a bike down a beautiful country road. If I can find a road where traffic is slow and light, and the street has ample room, riding a bike is a great delight. As a young man growing up in the country, my bike was my freedom before I was old enough to drive. I rode for many many miles, but I also remember how hard it was in the beginning, to get the balance of the thing. Not much true forward motion and freedom was achieved until I mastered that balance.

It’s really strange how easy it is to ride a bike once you get the hang of it. How does something go from very difficult, even dangerous, to piece-of-cake-easy so suddenly? It is a mystery to me, but suddenly you’re doing it, and you never forget how to ride a bike. Is that not true? Balance can open such pleasures and joy for us. It is no wonder that mankind constantly seeks that perfect balance, as elusive as it may seem to be. But if anyone knows how to master it, it is our Lord Jesus Christ. If anyone knows how to bring square and level to our lifestyle, it’s the Master Spiritual Carpenter from Galilee.

The things we will speak of may not sound easy at first, but like learning to ride that bike, if God says this is the way, you can trust he knows what he is talking about. But do we really trust him? Are we ready to let him take the training wheels off, start pedaling that bike with his hand keeping us steady, but knowing at some point he is going to let go… so we can learn…so we can do…so we can be free and soar? Do we really believe? Have we really accepted Christ as the truth, the way, and the life? Because this will test if you have or not.

When I read scripture, I hear Jesus speaking of a life simple and serene. He also spoke of a “depth”. However, many people today are lost in the shallow and complex as they chase material things that will never satisfy, only enslave. As a young man I fell into many of those same traps. I became the enslaved until I finally began realizing how this kept happening to me. How I wish I could have read teachings of this sort at that time. I’m sure I would have still made some of the same mistakes, but I would have “woke up” sooner, and found a proper balance quicker. My life could have been free and flowing much sooner than it was. I could have been walking the white path much sooner.

Of course we must know all this is somehow connected to out spirit, not our flesh. Jesus knew this way. Our gut tells us this is true and yet we fail to ride that bike, until we finally grow sick of rotten fruit and begin hungering after the foods of God. Here is what our Bible tells us the fruit of God produces in us:

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,…” Galatians 5:22a

And those are just the first three! There are nine of them, but some of the others may sound hard? Do we trust our Father? Will we learn such a balance that begins with love, joy, and peace? The choice is yours, but God does take note of our actions.

This is where our path now goes. Now that we have a more solid foundation getting back to what Jesus did, now we stay with this same path. We do not change to another horse or another path. This one has brought us to very good places. It is a true path. Why would we change now? No! We must see where this goes, for it is a path without end, an eternal path leading to eternal places, and if we are wise, that is the journey every man seeks.

However, if you have not read the journey thus far, and you have a very out of square and unlevel perspective concerning the House/Family of our Father, then these future teachings will likely not last for you. The climb may be too steep and high. You will have no strength for it. Do the work of a proper builder, and get that foundation right. It’s all there for you. Just go back to what Jesus actually did.

Our next lesson will continue this question of proper balance, how to find and maintain it. It doesn’t come in one easy answer. There are a few pieces to this puzzle. But once you have all the proper pieces and put them in place, guess what? Up pops a beautiful picture!

Have you ever noticed how even just one piece missing from a jigsaw puzzle seems to ruin the whole thing? Well… this is one puzzle well worth getting all the pieces to. We continue our journey. Our path led to a certain mountain range and we continue the climb. We have the strength for it. We will not stop until we know the whole land, possess every peak, enjoy every view. The good Lord is willing, and so are we.

This message has been brought to you by Grandpa White Feather, and “Fellowship of the White Path”.

20180829_171204 At age 62, I built this teepee with my own two hands, simple and serene. Peace we have, and peace we teach.

“McDonalds or Texas Roadhouse?”

“What does it all mean?” Part 3

20180606_124330

God has given me such a picture of how it all comes together, and my place in that picture. At first I certainly was not sure. There was no need to have another church sitting on another street corner that was just another version of what basically everybody else was already doing. That was the way I felt. And yet, I could not seem to find a church that fit the hunger in my belly.

So God has given me analogies of a spiritual civil war, and perhaps a 2nd Reformation, but to get even more detailed and more specific, he spoke to me just this morning of Restaurants. Different churches are like different restaurants. Some places are McDonalds and White Castles. Some are greasy spoons and Truck Stops. Some are Chinese or Mexican, or perhaps Italian. There’s Taco Bell and Subway. There’s also Texas Roadhouse and fine steak places. There are meals as fancy as you want to get if you’re willing to pay for them. But what is your church? Have you even thought about it?

All have something to offer. All will put food in your belly. And all will have different effects on your body and future health. Your physical future. Are you sure about what your church is serving? They all will put food in your belly, but is it making you strong, or on your way to a heart attack and expensive hospital bill? Do they have a vision truly inspiring, filling you with joy, peace, and passion? Do you feel alive? Or more like a robot, a zombie, going through motions as if alive, but not really. Just another rat-race, not a family.

So I asked God how to describe FWP, (Fellowship of the White Path), in terms of a restaurant of spiritual food. First of all, it was very plain we are not a McDonalds on every corner. We’re more like a family owned, one of a kind in the town, unique place that when suddenly discovered, some decide to make a regular part of their life. We are a piece of variety in the body of Christ. Presently, most people don’t know we exist, but word of mouth is slowly spreading. To be honest, I have not really worked that hard on evangelizing yet, as I have been busy perfecting our particular specials. I’ve had a lot of facts and details needing discovered and simplified. Those then become our special ingredients we mix into the menu we offer for your dining experience.

In some ways, with our emphasis on fellowship and family, we’re almost like a spiritual Tavern. For many lost people, a tavern has become their fellowship and family, their church. They don’t want the formality of church, but they connect and socialize at a local tavern. Every week they get with their buddies and see how life is treating them. Perhaps share sad stories, or unexpected victories, but they become a sort of family. A family of darkness, not drawn to God’s light, but it is the closest thing to church for them. Perhaps FWP is comparable to a Tavern of Light.

But all churches are to be a place for spiritual food and fellowship centered on God as our Father, Jesus as our Savior, and the Holy Spirit as our Teacher. God has spread an incredible TABLE before us, but every restaurant seems to have their own particular “menu”. Or specials.  Cracker Barrel have their specials, and usually a different one for every day of the week. How would you describe yours? What are the “specials” on the menu of your church? For example, King theology or Priest/Servant? There are many possibilities.

Here’s how I would describe some of the “specials” on the menu of FWP. First of all we have our “Missing Years Special”, because here is where it all started for me. Here is where I found the answers inspiring me to create another spiritual restaurant because there was a hunger for such a menu. By this I mean, what happened in those approximately 250 years before the Catholic church grew stronger and stronger? What happened with the men the Apostles directly discipled and established as Bishops of the early churches? How did that early Apostolic church somehow become Catholic? And why are our modern churches so silent on all this?

As we were developing our “Missing Years Menu”, I discovered an early church split concerning “The Lord’s Supper/ Passover Meal”! I learned that the Rome Bishop wanted to change from what the Apostles had instructed to continue! So now I had to develop a “Lord’s Supper/ Passover Special” on our menu, dealing directly with that. People are very hungry for both these specials. These particular meals were very hard to come up with before the Internet made the secret ingredients so readily available.

After taking a closer look at the description of the early church in the Book of Acts, and also Paul’s description in First Corinthians 11, I realized that “Fellowship”, “Meals”, and “The Lord’s Supper” was very high on God’s list for his church!   So…of course we had to put a heavy emphasis on our “Fellowship Special”! Which is one reason we do not even refer to our “Fellowship” as a church, but a “Fellowship”. “Fellowship of the White Path”. Jesus walked the Red Path of his blood, so we could walk the White Path of his fellowship.

For the early church, the Lord’s Supper was also known as “The Welcoming Table”, and this week I am about to try a new special, for the very first time at our Fellowship, of “The Lord’s Welcoming Table” in someone’s home whom we have just begun to disciple. I really believe this special will have a powerful effect that few have considered. I hope it becomes a regular meal on our menu.

We also have our “2nd Reformation Special” where we consider if the church really went back to precatholic ways in the 1st Reformation, or have we simply slipped from those ways in our modern days? Are we in the beginning of a 2nd Reformation? And what does it look like? It looks like a TABLE. Is this TABLE taking us back to homes?

And one more special. What I call our “First Corinthians 11 and Angels Special”, because somehow this one chapter actually sums up where God started and ended with me, concerning the journey we made. Somehow this one chapter literally highlights the two main points God showed me, without any other points involved. It is literally my journey in a capsule form, but that chapter taken by itself could scare you away, if not having the other specials on the menu with it. So…wow…don’t eat this plate alone!

Now of course there is much more on our menu besides these specials, like Ezekiel Chapter 8! But only by eating a few meals at our TABLE could you come to know the total affect of our spiritual FOOD and FELLOWSHIP. We do have a building, sort of, still under construction but usable, and of all things it is a “Tipi”! LOL. Which is a picture of beams, long legs all leaning together at a single point, Christ Jesus, and all made stronger because we come together in fellowship in HIM.

So from our Tipi building and spiritual retreat, our School in the Wilderness, our unique specials, the fact we are not a chain restaurant, but currently very small, unknown, and unique, we are definitely not found on every corner of your town. I would love to be in as many homes a possible, as the Good Lord would decide, but this is us, another place of unique fellowship and food in Christ, which God’s body has to offer.

Whether you choose to eat with us at this blog site, or if we ever sit at a real table together, FWP is open for fine spiritual food dining intended to make you all you can be in Christ. We hope to fulfill a hunger that is perhaps being overlooked in our modern day. I hope you find our food to your taste, and in the mean time we will keep cooking and spreading a table for those who do. This has been brought to you by “Fellowship of the White Path”. I am but a simple teacher who calls himself Grandpa White Feather, maybe because I just felt led of God to do so. Reach for God’s Sword, and make a difference where you live.

The Wind

20180606_124255Jesus said to Nicodemus, “The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whether it goeth: SO IS EVERYONE THAT IS BORN OF THE SPIRIT.” (John 3:8)

This was the first scripture that caught my attention and began to paint a picture in my mind of what it meant to WALK IN THE SPIRIT. I began seeing such a freedom, such a liberty, because where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty, not a box prison, not cookie cutter conformity, not bondage and drudgery, but to be like the wind. When I picture the wind I think of a bird or a sailboat.

I began imagining a sailboat on the seven seas of life. The Captain of this sailboat has intentionally cut the “man-made” motor loose and dropped it to the ocean floor. Then he grabbed the oars and said, “No more row row row your boat stressfully down the stream!” (And he threw them overboard too.) Now he is dependent upon an unseen power, invisible, not man made; the eternal wind! He waits upon the wind.

This is how I see walking with Jesus. Jesus says, Walk with me. God says, Learn my ways. The Holy Spirit says, I will teach you.

The above picture shows some of the progress I have made on the Teepee. I now have a tarp at the top in which it can be raised like the sail of a boat by ropes I have strung over limbs in the tall tree above it. I can also lower the tarp and close off the top. Yesterday the wind was blowing in such a way that I used the ropes to pull the tarp completely away from the opening. IT ALL DEPENDS ON HOW THE WIND IS BLOWING.

For the true child of God, everything should depend on how the wind is blowing. I check the wind in my spirit everyday. I set my sails to that wind, not some worldly wind, but a fresh breeze from heaven. Is your life like this? Do you know the ways of the eagle, they that wait upon the Lord? My story, “Flapless”, teaches of these things.

20180606_180924 You might notice windows are going into the Teepee also, and air vents at the bottom. We are letting in wind and light. The winter was a learning experience. I closed the Teepee up and all the winter moisture caused a dank, mildew, depressing situation. But wind, light, and smoke is changing all that. Yesterday I got a good fire going and threw wet limbs and leaves on it. I smoked that Teepee good! Bugs beware! Wind and light lives here! It’s so easy to drive the bugs out of my Teepee. I love it.

Once again the atmosphere in the Teepee is coming alive with the Presence of God. I was there several hours as I spent time with God for the Fellowship that night.

20180610_100329

We are talking about how God is like the wind. And as his disciples, as Jesus said he was going away so another could come, if we are properly spiritually growing we should be “Disciples of the Wind”. Jesus said, I’m going away! Another is coming! One who is like the wind! We move in the Holy Spirit.

Jesus words to Nicodemus are not the only hints we have concerning this wind-driven Spirit life. After his baptism Jesus was immediately “driven” by the Spirit into the wilderness for his 40 days of temptation. (After the Holy Spirit appeared in the form of a bird! The dove,)

“And immediately the Spirit driveth him into the wilderness.” (Luke 1:12) (Are we wind-driven like a sailboat? Do we realize the potential of such a life? Does this kind of talk seem strange to you? It should not.)

We also consider the birth of the Church on the day of Pentecost, when in that upper room it says there was the sound of a rushing mighty wind! This happened as the Holy Spirit invaded that place. God’s people became wind-driven at that very moment!

A close study of Genesis 3:8 reveals God had a habit of showing up in the garden to fellowship with Adam and Eve in the cool of the day when the “evening breezes” were blowing. Just a coincidence?

When God created Adam, he “breathed” into his lifeless body the breath of life and he became a living soul, brought alive by the breath of God, a blown wind.

In Ezekiel 37 the prophet is told by God to prophecy to a valley of dead bones. He begins to do so and the bones began becoming flesh and blood bodies again, but there was no life! So the prophet is told to prophecy to the four winds in verse 9, the winds began to blow and life came into them! A mighty army rose up brought to life by prophecy and a holy wind!

The eagle is a tremendous picture of what the Christian is “supposed” to be, living in the high places and “soaring”, not flapping, upon the Wind! Does this describe your life? A supernatural walk with God? The joy and freedom of Spirit life? Living in the high places of God?

I only learned recently, a close study of the “spiritual gifts” will lead you to original language calling them “wind-driven spirituals”. What an interesting description. Is our life a wind-driven spiritual? Wow.

This walk, this way of life, is all tied up IN and revealed IN your “Priesthood” IN Christ. In this time, in this earth, it’s all about being the Priest, not the king. I am so anxious to get back to our spiritual armor and the seven deadly sins, but this all ties together. As we reveal problems in our life we must also reveal answers.

Your spiritual armor is charged through the practice of your priestly ways! Jesus said the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. Watch and pray! That was his answer! You cannot live like a sparrow and expect the power of an eagle! You cannot live like a motorboat and expect the wind in your sails! And if you prefer the life of a sparrow or motorboat, what does that say about you? Are you teachable? The first generation out of Egypt died in the wilderness, all but two! They were not teachable.

I’ve heard too many messages preached in which I was told everything I should not do, but was not given the answer as how to overcome. God never points out our shortcomings without also giving the way of overcoming. We serve the God who has all the answers. There is no dilemma he does not have the answer for, and usually that answer will be tied to MORE of the Holy Spirit, the Wind, in our life! Are we soaring or flapping? Row row row your boat.

After waiting on the Lord in my Teepee yesterday, that night our Fellowship had prayer and then had pizza and a movie: “The Shack”. That movie is such a strong message about inner pain, judgement, forgiveness, and trusting God. I love their representation of the Holy Spirit, the Wind. The garden message in the movie is my favorite, even though there are many very strong messages. But the Holy Spirit working in our life. Do we trust God completely? Or do we fight the Wind?

Do you struggle with surrender? It is a paradox. We cannot imagine that surrender could be the key to all our fulfillment, and yet it is. Do we believe God, or not? Faith without works is dead. We live in a day in which Pastors pat you on the head and say everything is alright, even though your life is a complete rat race and struggle. 2+2 somehow is not adding up to 4, but God does have the correct answer. God knows how to add 2+2 and get 4. God is the fork in the road for every one of us. Will we trust him completely, throw the oars overboard, and surrender to the Wind? This is a Godwalker, an Enoch person, a true spiritual life. (So teaches Grandpa White Feather, and intends to go to his grave so teaching!)

Some people have problems with the movie, “The Shack”. I tried reading the book and struggled with it. I never got all the way through. So I was very surprised when I watched the movie and really enjoyed it. Perhaps you have a comment you would like to share about the movie?

So for now we will end with these thoughts of God’s Spirit like the Wind, a fresh breeze from heaven, Spirit life, and I’ll give you a few more pictures of the Teepee progress. A third window will be going above the two. I also flipped on the Christmas lights and it was beautiful as we had a very grey and raining day outside.

“Surviving or Thriving!”

2711 Boy do I have the itch to write! Grandpa White Feather has been on the road for almost 2 weeks! I’m finally home, back in my territory! Ready to continue slow growing our spiritual garden. I have missed it, and it suffered while I was gone, but the mission was important. I have 2 grandchildren in Georgia, and Grandpa White Feather needed to see them, not to mention my 2 sons who also live there, along with their lovely wives. We are such a blessed family to have the unity we have.

So…I am the “Story Teller” in our family. I had a story to read to my grandchildren. The story is titled: “A Bird Called, Flapless”.  I am about to release this story over the Internet, and a link will be set from here. It’s what I call a children’s story for adults. Jesus said unless we become as little children we will not see the Kingdom of God.  It’s good for us to paint pictures of simplicity. It’s also a good story for parents to read to their children. About midway there is a section a parent will skip because it’s a bit too deep for children, good for adults, but the story continues for the children a couple chapters later.

2560So we put the story up on their flat screen and Grandpa did the reading. It was great fun. I hope this family has at least one story teller to tell the stories someday, after I’m gone. This important torch must pass to someone.

2616I made those wall hangers. They have our message of slow down and hear God. On the backside I wrote the spiritual name I gave them while down there, which was part of my mission. One Grandson went from “Boy Who Falls on Face” to “Sky Hawk”> He who dives in like a hawk! (Much better name.)

The younger Grandson really didn’t have a name yet, but he is now “Thunder Foot”> He who runs and kicks ball with thunder. (Another good name.) These will do for now, but as they are still developing their lives, who knows what their final name shall be? But I am here to constantly remind them of the “VALUE” of a “GOOD” name.

So we have much updating to do, because the gardens, the flower boxes, and the Teepee have been progressing, but I have not had time to update. The garden area for my mom has gone from this>

20180527_165841 20180527_165854

20180507_184924 But now there is a story to be told and a spiritual analogy to be taught. The journey of this blog site has been a revelation of Jesus shifting everything from the religion of a Temple to the fellowship of the Table, including the Lord’s Supper which took place at a TABLE. Much has been written of this in previous articles.

I’ve been watching a survival series called “ALONE”. If you’re in to that kind of thing, like I am, you should watch it. It’s my favorite. But one thing I’ve noticed, there is “surviving” and there is “thriving”. Some of the people dropped on the island merely survive, but a few actually seem to thrive. A close study of the life of Jesus as revealed in our Bible shows that Jesus barely “survived” in the Temples, but he “thrived” at the Tables. I’m sorry to say, but as we grow nearer to our Lord’s second coming, I fear it may be so again. History always repeats itself?

You may have noticed there is an apple tree providing wonderful shade at the end of this cement block building. We have NEVER had any family fellowship under this tree. NEVER! All my life this has been so. There simply never was a reason to. Trees closer to the house were much more inviting, and there was nothing to see there but a cement block building. However, the other day my wife, Turtle Faith Lady, ROLLED in a very solid TABLE under that tree, and I don’t have a picture of it, but before the day was over, my mom, dad, wife, myself, and my dog, Shadow, was all setting under that tree, enjoying drinks, a cool breeze, shade, conversation, fellowship, the Presence of God, and the developing garden. It was wonderful, and a “first” at the farm. Here are some pictures I do have.

20180526_165729 You might notice Teepee in the background. Stories about the Teepee and the firewood are yet to come. But progress also being made there. Here’s Grandma Turtle Faith beginning to roll her TABLE.

20180527_130355

20180527_130414 Final destination under the apple tree. Oh yeah.

20180527_131407 Such a simple Table. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy, it just needs to be real. This Table makes all the difference!

So much has happened and there is so much to write. Next article will be entitled: “Fear and Pleasure”. This is something God showed me while I was in Savanah Georgia. I’m taking leave of our topic of the “Seven Deadly Sins and our Spiritual Armor” for now…temporarily. The shift Jesus made from Temple to Table is SO IMPORTANT.

We need time at the TABLE more than in the TEMPLE. We ARE the temple. Study the church of Acts, the first church, and notice the emphasis on the TABLE. Revelation tells us there will be no temple in heaven, but God is our temple. As they were about to stone Stephen he asked, Who can build God a temple? The earth is his footstool and heaven his home! Jesus offers us to sit at the Table with God! Wow! Is your church about a Temple or a Table? This is our message today, with much more to come.

Our last article: “White Wolf”, I believe carries a very strong message. If you have not read, please check it out. We’re likely done with the Infinity War analogy, even though there is so much more that could be said. There are many people who can identify with the Winter Soldier to White Wolf transition. My path to Christ was peaceful in most ways, but there are many who have not been so lucky. You may be one of those.

So… we are back. The time seeing Grandkids and family was excellent. But it’s also good to be back here where we are building for God the testimony he has put in us. Praise the Lord, God is good. Always keep an eye to your path. Where are you going? I hope you know.

20180518_195449 Grandpa White Feather and Sky Hawk signing off. Where did that belly come from? Hhmmm. I got to work that off.

“Christian Mystic & Church History” P-6

20171202_173614 Grandpa White Feather here, and today I’d like to offer up my own definition of a Christian Mystic. Now granted, I don’t have any real authority to do so, and no one needs to agree with my definition. Everyone can totally ignore it if they like, but for my own comfort level, I feel led to do this. As we study the Mystics, there will be some we agree with more than others, and the kind of C.M. I want to be may draw different lines than they, but I believe still qualifies.

Lets start with this point. My definition is based on the Christian Mystic’s desire to understand the “Mysteries of God”. Now I agree we will never solve all the spiritual mysteries God has set before us, but the C.M. I desire to be, loves to dive deep into God seeking such answers as may be found. Consider this scripture from Proverbs, in both the King James and NLT.

“It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.” (Prov. 25:2)

“It is God’s privilege to conceal things and the king’s privilege to discover them.” (NLT)

This is a “king” in God’s eyes, someone interested in heavenly things enough to dig deep and search out. This person is rich in heavenly possessions. The world may not see them as a king, but God looks at this child and says, “King!” Has not God said, he who shall be least, shall be the greatest?

And why would God hide things, making it difficult for us to find? Doesn’t he want us to be as successful in his Spirit as possible? You’re probably already saying the answer. Lets see if we’re tracking the same? My scripture answer would be…

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that DILIGENTLY seek him.” (Heb. 11:6)

So, my definition of Christian Mystic has a lot to do with a person who is a seeker of the mysteries of God, to know God in a deep and intimate way, like a Mary and not a Martha.

Here is what I currently have, and I may change and refine as our studies go along:

A Christian Mystic is someone who loves God enough to pursue God into His deeper mysteries. He is fascinated with all things God! Including those things God has hidden for the DILIGENT to seek and find. This love of God in them (he, she), must be such as to not only drive the Mystic into separated times with God, but also drives them to love his fellow man, so that God’s fruit bears witness in his good works towards mankind. (Much like a Dorothy Day, as one example.) All spiritual disciplines are known, and may be used by a C.M., such things as prayer, fasting, holiness, separation, sacrifices to benefit others, moderation in all things, seeker of peace, love, and unity, and so forth, as revealed in God’s Word, which the C.M. searches diligently.

Okay, we have our starting point here, and I want to close out today by adding these scriptures: (In the Amplified version.)

(Psalms 78:1-3) “Give ear, oh my people, to my teaching; incline your ears to the words of my mouth. I will open my mouth in a parable — in instruction by (numerous) examples; I WILL UTTER DARK SAYINGS OF OLD (that hide important truth), which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.”

Also: Matt 13:34-35 > “These things all taken together Jesus said to the crowds in parables; indeed without a parable he said nothing to them. This was in fulfillment of what was spoken by the prophet: I will open My mouth in parables; I WILL UTTER THINGS THAT HAVE BEEN HIDDEN SINCE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD.”

We will continue to study Christian Mystics and Church History. My next article will likely be about 3 main early church fathers: Clement of Rome, Ignatius of Antioch, and Polycarp of Smyrna. All three had direct contact with the Apostles. All three became Bishops of the early church and offer light upon what the church is meant to be. Since Origen was our first Mystic, I don’t want to leave his time period without also showing what was going on with early church fathers who may not be called “Mystics”, but certainly had great power and influence with God!

Hope you enjoyed this latest article. Until the next time, Grandpa White Feather and the “Fellowship of the White Path”.
