Inner Circle – continued.

20181007_154219 God Task + Inner Circle + Prayer + Simplicity = God Balance / Peace.

The Grand Opening with our Teepee was a “HUGE” hit! This picture shows 3 of the grandkids having a great time on the rope swing inside Teepee. There were 17 of us all together, including my mom and dad, great grand parents. Four Generations!

In the Church early days, people used their homes for gatherings. Was that of necessity or intentional? Many feared something would be lost when large buildings began to be used. I see a common challenge in our Churches today, as many are waking up to the need to be more than a gathering, but to be “family”.

I believe the strong “discipleship format” of the early Church created close relationships and family. I also believe “homes” were best suited for that. The Church today is wrestling with trying to get back that “spiritual family” relationship while in very expensive modern buildings that do not feel like home or family.

The most successful youth ministry I ever had was in my home! It was amazing the kids who were being attracted to it. Many of them had single parents and broken homes. They were actually drawn to the family/home atmosphere we had. But I think it is even bigger and deeper than that. I think that is why Jesus did it the way he did, and he was showing us that true religion is more about a “Table” than a “Temple”.

It was a hot day, so we had the inside table and an outside. My truck tailgate was part of that. Chicken was roasting on outside grill, while others roasted a hotdog in the indoor chiminea. Cold lemonade was the main drink. The fellowship was awesome. We had a perfect atmosphere for fellowship. We had Table Ministry, plus food, rope swing, a secret fort for the kids, and archery for the adults. And what would all that be without the opportunity to chop wood? Here’s some various pictures >

There are many more pictures that could be shown, but the point is: Family/Fellowship. Real relationships. Table Ministry, like the Lord’s Supper, not short form Temple programs.

Do you have an Inner Circle in which you are involved in Table Ministry and real discipleship? This is real Church Jesus way.

Our next article will move on from the Inner Circle element of our Formula, but I hope you don’t forget the importance of this element. Table Ministry/ Discipleship is near and dear to the heart of God. Modern Churches are struggling to make this work. Some are trying to force something that should come naturally. I heard a preacher preach the other day that he was “forcing” his people into the streets. They had a program they hoped would accomplish this. I’m sorry, I’m glad they got the big picture now, but I still think they are misguided on the “how”. Just my opinion. Many religions force their people into the streets. God looks on the heart. He looks for the cheerful giver, and so on.

So… here is one last picture of the names growing on our “Signing Wall”. To sign the wall a person must have done something benefiting the Teepee, or visit three times. On third visit you can sign the wall. I’ve painted short messages on outside Teepee also, so I’ll leave you with 3 pictures. Grandpa White Feather saying, until the next time, happy trails to you.

It looks so calm on this side of Teepee. Everything was happening on the other side. LOL.

“Nothing Changes for Me”

20180829_171204 I mentioned in the previous article that nothing changes for me. And by that I don’t mean there is not constant change going on all around me every day. So what do I mean?

I never knew what a blessing being able to make such a statement would be. If there is one thing I dislike, it’s boredom. So you would think, “nothing changing”, would be boring, but it’s totally not! It’s totally exciting because I wake every day knowing that no matter what may happen today, I still have the same vision! The same way of living. The me I have grown to be continues on no matter what! A worthy vision is like our guiding star! We don’t get lost in the night.

I’ve always been a person of VISION. As long as I have a vision, I know where I’m going, what I’m doing, and what life is about for me. In my Bible, in Jesus, I found a vision that never fails and never ends! What more could I want? And so…when I say: “Nothing changes for me”, what I mean is > “I have trained myself to live in spirit, not flesh.”

T-H-E-R-E-F-O-R-E, “physical” things do not devastate me, change my plans, change who I am, change what my life is about. SO…even though a hurricane may be blowing over head, the lake within me remains calm, the waters unrippled, because I still get to live the life I want to live, a life in spirit. It’s a matter of the inner and outer principal. What happens outside me does not have to affect the vision inside me.

I use different terminology when I refer to this at various times. I may speak of Godwalking, or God Balance, or God Task, and so on; but it all connects to the same inner vision which I got from Jesus, the Son of God: Live in the Spirit, not the flesh. Spirit is my life foundation.

Physical things do not devastate me because my life is spirit. I do not dread even death, because only the flesh actually dies, my spirit will be released to pass through the next door of the supernatural. I sincerely believe we have a Creator who has prepared a place for those who do not reject their Creator, but honor Him through His will through Christ Jesus.

So no matter what each day brings, by faith I seek Holy Spirit, and together we Godwalk, maintaining a God Balance. But again, this is not the formula we will soon share. This is still the product of the formula.

If you have followed this site, you know that over a year ago I became very disappointed in what America seems to call “Church”. So I went on a nine day Godseek. My wife and I went to the Black Hills of South Dakota. We came back from there with a developing vision. I’ve been getting out of bed every day and walking that direction ever since that trip. This led to building the Teepee I’m still working on. There have been MANY challenges along the way, but did that change anything? No. The challenges have “affected” the path to the vision, but not the vision itself, especially since not even the Teepee is really the vision! The vision is: “Living in Spirit, not flesh!”

To do this I became a Priest through Christ Jesus, the High Priest after the Order of Melchizedek. I don’t mean I wear a white collar or anything, but salvation in Christ brings us into a Priesthood, and our focus becomes “Spirit”, more than flesh.

There are many thing in this physical world I get to enjoy. As a matter of fact, living in spirit seems to enhance the flesh, because by the wisdom of God we avoid many painful mistakes. My wife and I are still very much in love. We have been married 41 years and have 5 great kids who love coming together as a family. And now dad is building a Teepee in his old age, of all things, for the 7 Grandkids, and the family to come together for great times. Also many ministry opportunities have been happening at this special place, even though it is far from completed.

God has proven he don’t need a finished product to use it. The Teepee stands as a direct challenge to many people’s way of life. It’s a picture of simplicity, serenity, peace, the beauty of nature, the joy of an early morning song bird, it causes people to consider a different way of living and just maybe realize all this world’s “stuff” and “fun” are not the answer. They will never satisfy your SOUL! And your soul is the real YOU, not the thing you see in the mirror. We see spirit, not flesh.

Soul Peace is only found one way, a life in spirit. By that I mean your spirit, and God’s Spirit, joined together, walking together, Godwalking in a godly balance. This is what we’re teaching in these articles. We have peace, and we teach peace.

Soon we will begin examining what I’m calling “The Formula”, what Jesus did to have a vibrant Spirit life with the Father. We think about these things and write about these things because our life is not shallow and complicated, but deep and simple. So says Grandpa White Feather. More to come soon. Hope you enjoy.
