“The passing of the torch!” Is there an Awakening going on? Perhaps right under our nose, and we do not even know?

We have done much study from the book of Hebrews chapters 7-8 concerning the huge change God made through Christ when he shifted the priesthood from the Tribe of Levi, to Jesus Christ of the Tribe of Judah! This was a major move on the Cosmic Chess Board, freeing us from the Laws of Moses and connecting us to the grace, mercy, and love of Christ! This changed everything! (Unless you deny Christ, and then things are kind of the same for you. Sorry.)

We see this coming change being announced another way through the message and action of John the Baptist. It is only appropriate for the torch to be passed from the Tribe of Levi, to the Tribe of Judah, by a member of the Levite priesthood. Even though John himself didn’t fit the normal model, his parents did, and as such was of the proper linage to pass this torch. Did we realize what was happening as we read those scriptures?

As a young student of God’s word there is a lot we fail to see, I find it so very interesting when I see Hollywood put out movies which seem to parallel the truth. They are not the truth in and of themselves, but they parallel it in odd ways. I often think of when Jesus said, if man will not praise me, then the rocks will cry out in praise!

Is it possible Hollywood is occasionally preaching revelation, current spiritual events, without even realizing it? Sometimes I think it must be so, after all, we are all spirit beings whether we are saved, born-again, or not. We have a spirit connection to spiritual things. Writers, artists, creative people get “inspired”, and create something saying even more than they know. Suddenly, those with eyes to see and ears to hear, begin to notice, even though the producer may have no idea. They are living in the parallel, not the real. It’s kind of like fake news.

Is there an underground Church of people developing who are allergic to Americanized Christianity? I believe there is. The five wise virgins are awakening.

I’m not happy with everything Disney has done in developing the transition of STAR WARS, but I have very much enjoyed watching and pondering it. Are rocks crying out? Even at the end, when Luke’s famous light sabre suddenly explodes, ripped in two! Is that not a picture of what was happening when Jesus came the first time? The Law was being superseded by all those entering Christ through his cross! And now?

Will very similar conditions bring Christ back the second time, that brought him the first time? Were not the pharisee a type of the five foolish virgins? Should we not be checking ourself in God’s mirror?

So what does this mean? Do we not have a chance to be a part of God’s great move in our time? God’s perfect will and revelation is always available to anyone in every time, but we must recognize the move of God and jump on board if we want to be a part of it. Rey was very reluctant about her new developments, as her life takes on new pain and meaning. They always seem to go together.

It is my daily prayer for this strange thing God has me doing with the teepee, to be a part of God’s move in this day. I have been consuming books, and study in God’s word like a man who has been on the verge of starvation! In my spirit I feel such an urgency to be ready for something this spring, and I so want to be ready.

In the meantime, after two years of very mild winter in Indiana, this year has turned into an ice cold roaring lion seeking to devour anyone not properly protected. Much sickness is moving around as people wheeze and cough. In spite of all these things, including financial challenges too, nothing can stop a true child of God, and child of Abraham, from being a bright light in dark times!

Many of our Churches are so far in debt, money becomes an issue, and they are no longer free to preach the pure word of God. Satan has them right where he wants them. And so we see an Americanized Christianity in which much interest revolves around success and money, as they preach of the One who said “Blessed are the poor in spirit”, and had no place to lay his head.

John was a voice in the wilderness; a prophet, declaring the king of that time had no clothes! The heavenly clock is ready to drop the axe on a fruitless limb! (He declared.) Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand! Leave your indifference, become diligent and set a proper table for the Presence of God! And He will sup with you.

Poor Rey in all this STAR WARS story. She does not know what is going on with her. It’s as if her world is falling apart, and her life was already pretty difficult even before she began discovering some kind of force. Now she is in constant battle, and facing a foe with training, while she frantically scurries to put together the pieces of this new jigsaw puzzle! There is an evil beyond description rising, and who can stand against it? This nobody?

We just spent a year speculating as to who Rey was born from, in order to have the force. Only to find out she is but a commoner. Nothing royal about her at all, other than she is another living person with the potential to shine great light in dark times! The force is no longer a respecter of persons, it seems! A torch is being passed, a transformation is taking place, and all those who know His voice will find Him.

So she goes in search of her teacher, the great Luke Skywalker, only to find the great teacher hiding on an island and totally disenchanted with anything to do with the force! This poor girl! Can her path be anymore discouraging or impossible? And yet something in her hungers for this force, and so much so she will risk everything to grow in it! And then we see others too.

How are these new Jedi Knights being trained? As for the child of God, our Sword tells us we need no teacher other than the Holy Spirit in us. Now granted, the Holy Spirit uses others God has gifted and called to be teachers, but even if we’re separated like John on the Isle of Patmos, we can seek God! (And grow, be fruitful, shine great light.)

I couldn’t be more excited in my old age, to see what God is doing. I’ve been waiting most my life to see someone begin pointing out the king has no clothes. The big question now is, where do we go from here?

“This Begins my Star Wars Series”

I hope to do a series using Star Wars for illustration. When the world labels you the rebel, and themselves the new standard, life can get hard. It’s never easy being the David facing the Goliath; but David had the favor of God, and he had skills.

God’s Church has always been the rebel against the World System, but what happens when the World System has crept into so much of the Church, that it has become more of the problem than the solution? That’s when you get someone like me, or at least what I perceive myself to be. I’m now a part of the fringe, on the outside looking in, because I no longer trust what I see inside the four walls.

A Church in bed with the World System becomes the Empire. The book of Revelation plainly reveals a harlot that rides the back of the beast. This harlot is without a doubt some form of a compromised religious system. And being a harlot, even as the Bible explains, in having sex, two become one! This compromised Church becomes part of the Empire, and those refusing to conform become outcasts, rebels, remnant people, David’s facing Goliath.

Warning: Spoilers may abound from here on.

John the Revelator found himself forcibly exiled to the Isle of Patmos. In his vision, Jesus himself does a report card on seven Churches, how they are doing, and warns some of them of having their lamp removed from the stand! Is John the only Christian exiled to this island?

Now be honest with yourself. Do you know your Bible and what God hath said? Do you know it well enough to do a report card on the Church you faithfully attend? Now be painfully honest, and how do you think your Church would do if Jesus gave them a test and then sat down to grade it? Are you at all worried the Empire has compromised your Church, and your understanding of what God hath said? Do you feel safe? Or might you be in danger? Might the Empire be all around you even now, they have lulled you to sleep, and the reality you think you’re living is nothing but Neo before the Red Pill?

Exactly what does your New Testament Bible say Church should be? I hope you have studied “for yourself”! That’s what I’ve been doing since leaving the Americanized Church, and I’ve been finding some surprises. So I’m a rebel, like Captain America becoming Nomad, and it seems my whole life has been a journey and struggle to this revelation!

So the point I want to make today is, after having a chance to ponder the latest episode, “The Last Jedi”, is…

I am struck by what miserable lives our heroes had.

I mean, we are looking at some pretty sad endings! Okay, it may be they had a few good years in there. Hans and Leia fell in love, got married, had a child, and then? What’s up with this child? He got something bad from his Grandpa? (Grandpa Darth.)

So…Luke becomes a teacher of the force and starts a Jedi School. Sounds good. For how long did that go well? But then Hans and Leia, perhaps in desperation, bring the problem child to the school. A lot is riding on Skywalker now. After all, the problem child, Kylo Ren, is family! He’s got to save this child. Guide him to the side of light. Both Hans and Leia are counting on him.

However, not only does Kylo go bad, but he destroys the school in the process, and basically brings everything back to where it was before! The current Empire System now has its Vader again! And evidently Luke is so broken and devastated by all this, he spends the rest of his life on this island! He dies on this island after doing one last good deed.

Hans had separated from Leia and gone back to his smuggling ways, a broken relationship, and a life of constant struggle to survive. Was this caused by the stress of the bad son? And Hans ends up dying, run through by the light sabre of Kylo himself, while trying to reason with him as his father! What a horrible ending! What a sad life after so great a victory many years ago, in which they all became legends!

Now Leia’s life is lonely, a broken mother’s heart, and she is in constant peril as the rebels are barely hanging on. It’s a weird thing that the only person who has actually died, is the only person still alive in the movie! Do I have a problem with that? Not really. It’s just odd when you think about it, and a little comical. But there is a new development bringing hope to this dismal picture: The force is no longer limited to just a few very fortunate people who happen to be born with a certain something in there blood!

In other words, a “Commoner” might get it! And Rey is living proof of that! If it were not so, the Jedi would be over! Finished! Defeated! Darkness wins with Kylo Ren! But up pops Rey, and she’s a nobody! What does this mean? It means a whole world of possibilities. Our “Force Universe” just expanded!

Suddenly, it’s not the person born rich, or with the right blood, or the college degree, or the handsome face, who might be the next hero! The force might be strong with anyone! It might not be the pastor of a big Church, or Bible College degree hanging on the wall whom God greatly anoints! But it might be a self-taught nobody, who God suddenly lifts up to stand against what has become the current Empire.

It might be just such a person who finally points out the king has no clothes! And people suddenly see! God’s always loved the David’s of this world.

But yes, standing against the Empire can be a lonely and difficult life. Your reward may not come until your Kingdom comes. Luke gave everything left in him to pull off that last feat of the force. Maybe he had lost a lot in his depression. He wanted the books destroyed. That would be like me wanting all Bibles destroyed! But I love my Bible! How could I be so broken to come to such a place? There, except for the grace of God, go I.

I wasn’t ready for Skywalker to go. I was so hoping, as he struggled to climb back on that rock, he was going to pull through, and play some part in leading a new batch of heroes! I did not get what I wanted when he vanished into oblivion. But isn’t that life? Are we not use to not getting what we want? It still hurts. It still disappoints. But we pick ourself up, look reality in the eyes and ask, what might now be?

Paul told Timothy that in the “last days” PERILOUS times would come. When I saw the end of Episode Six all those years ago. The smiling faces, the celebration, the victorious music. I thought good times were finally ahead for our heroes. I did not expect what we have seen happen. But…it’s really not about having a good time here, anyway, is it. It’s about which path leads to life, light, and the Eternal Kingdom which cannot be taken from us! Like people always say, there in a better place now.

This life really is not about what we have here, it’s about what we shall be there, because of what we chose to be here. Yes, it seems our heroes had a lot of heartaches, but they still stood against the Empire to the end, and chose to do right even in spite of whatever pain and sacrifice it cost them. Isn’t that what real heroes do?

To be continued…

What Brought Jesus the First Time? An Axe?

“Even now the axe of God’s judgement is poised, ready to sever the roots of the trees.” (Luke 3:9a) (John the Baptist declaring the time! Preparing the way for Christ!)

This is John the Baptist himself, the forerunner of Christ, explaining to the religious brood of vipers, that Jesus was coming and there was an axe “POISED” ready to strike, preparing to chop down the corrupt religious system at that time. Need I remind of Roman’s chapter eleven’s warning to all of us that if a wild branch were grafted into the tree, how much easier it would be to cut it off and graft back in the original branch?

I have often posed the question, will the same conditions that Christ came the first time, be the same conditions that Christ comes the second time? This thought has haunted me for many years. Because “WE” are the religious system that is supposed to be shining the light of God to the world! Would we repeat the same mistake the original branch did? Would we fail to recognize God in our time? Has our message of Christ become so perverted, that we would not heed the true words of Jesus himself? Is this “King Theology”, as I have labeled it, nothing but a house of cards ready to fall, as I believe it is? Is there a huge axe poised over the modern church, and it will fall immediately after the second coming of Christ?

The pretrib version of the rapture shows tremendous persecution of those who follow Christ thereafter. The early Christians also suffered great persecution from Rome after Christ came the first time. Is the modern church repeating the same mistake the original branch of the tree made? Thereby setting up the same conditions which brought Christ the first time? I hate to say it, but there is something that seems very likely.

If John the Baptist showed up today and was baptizing in a nearby river, and some of our tv evangelist, or modern church pastors went to him, asking him who he was, do you think he might have the same message for them that he had for the scribes and pharisees of that day? And are we the spiritual products of those preachers? Is this setting up the great falling away? Has it been in progress for a while now?

I have shared how something has drawn me out of the modern church religious system and has me now facing a lot of questions for myself. The teepee I have built, which is not fully completed by any means, but is functional, will likely open its doors for anyone interested this coming spring. In the meantime, I have this time, to make some hard decisions about what hath God actually said in our New Testament covenant with Him. One thing I see so far is, our modern church strains at a gnat and swallows a camel!

Is a church service supposed to be about the “Presence of God”, or the “presence of man”? Are we setting our table to please God, or please more men (and women)? When we come together as a corporate group, should we not be seeking the greatest Presence of God we can achieve, rather than the greatest presence of people? And would not a greater Presence of God, eventually develop the kind of body of Christ we’re seeking anyway? Our mission to build up the body of Christ into an image which actually reflects the nature and character of Christ?

This is the spiritual journey I am on. Others are on this journey too. Many are hearing a John the Baptist, a voice crying in the wilderness. I am in much study, prayer, and reading at this time, and will likely be so this whole winter. I’m still holding off on some thoughts I’ve had concerning the latest Star Wars movie, so as not to cause spoilers, but I’m here to tell you, the lives Princess Lea, Hans Solo, and Luke Skywalker went on to have after their great victory, does not seem to have been so great! They spent their whole lives in battle against the Empire, and it’s still not dead! How depressing is that?

I do believe there is a new wave coming, just as Jesus was in his day, and the five virgins who have the oil will recognize that voice. Indeed, already are recogning the voice of the lover of our soul! Perhaps this is the time of John the Baptist preaching to make straight the path of the Lord! Something is stirring in the hearts of God’s people. An awakening! It’s real! And it’s the most important thing at this time! (But will it actually seem contrary to the word of God as we have known it, even as it seemed to the pharisees in that day?)

So……….. we need to discern what sound doctrine is. We need to know what the truth is. It’s contained in God’s word. It’s there for us to find. God has given us the Holy Spirit to lead into that promised land. He has not left us orphans. Jesus is speaking! And so is a false image of him. Surely, if we are sincere, we can recognize the real Jesus from the fake!

I have much to say on this journey we are making, and this article launches this subject. By the time my teepee opens, I will have to know what it shall be. A House of Prayer, for sure, but what else?

I have mentioned I’ve been reading Brian Zahnd. His message came to me just at this time. I think finding the right balance of what he is saying may be the answer to a lot of my questions. I will be sharing more thoughts on that message after I complete more study of his books. But let’s finish this article with this: What did John the Baptist follow his hard words to the pharisees with? When the crowds were moved by his words and asked the question: “What should we do?” (Luke 3:10) What was his answer?

John replied, “If you have two shirts, give one to the poor. If you have food, share it with those who are hungry.” (And he continued. But you get the idea.)

There is much I agree with Zahnd on, one of which “I think” is: Christ is coming back for a people who truely love God (first), like a bride should; and then also live by “The Golden Rule”. We are not kings of our own little empire, but our hearts should not be able to help noticing the plight of others. This is not an easy thing, but I do think if we pray, the Holy Spirit in us, will do the work of changing our hearts, so that we actually become what we speak with our mouth. In other words, many of us claim these things “verbally”, but are not living it “actually”. The two must become one. Our words must become real. There is an axe poised for the foolish virgins.

Who are the true John the Baptists in our day? The day of our visitation. We must hear such people. I’m spending this winter seeking that very thing. I hope we can do this together.

Anticipation of Star Wars!

My wife and I see “Star Wars” tomorrow. I’ve waited 40 years for this episode!

We were married on April 2, 1977. In May of 1977 we saw the very first movie of Star Wars! It blew us away! It was cutting edge at that time. We saw it at the best theater available, and had never seen anything like it. We were still newly weds just starting our lives together, and did not know we were beginning a 40 year journey with Star Wars! I was 21 and she was 18. Now I’m 62, and she is 59. We have grown old with Luke Skywalker, Hans Solo, and Princess Lea, who I will see for the last time tomorrow. Where have the years gone? But it has been great.

None of our five children were born yet. Now we have seven “grand”children! Tomorrow, my bride and I, the woman I have loved all these years, go to see another Star Wars movie: “The Last Jedi”. What does that mean? The last? Is it all coming to an end?

I believe Star Wars is special to my generation because it led the way into the incredible movies we have today. It was like “the first” for us. But as you can see, it has meaning for me in other ways too, including spiritually, because of the battle between light and darkness, Empire and Soul!

I have spent my life learning to be a soldier of the Lord, a priest of light, a disciple of love, a witness of truth, and seeking God’s power, not my own, something we call the Anointing, His Holy Spirit in us. When Darth Vader said his famous line about Luke, the one where he says: “The force is strong with this one.” That fed the fire in me to grow in my Lord. Now, many years later, a strong topic of this blog site is not to be “Skywalker”, but to be a “Godwalker”, an Enoch people, whose heart burns within us as we walk with our Lord!

(Luke 24:15) “…Jesus himself suddenly came and began walking with them.”

(Luke 24:32) “They said to each other, ‘Didn’t our hearts burn within us as he talked with us on the road and explained the scriptures to us?”

Star Wars has always been an allegory (of sorts) for the Christian calling of the “Good Fight”. It makes no claims to be Christian, and it is not, but that doesn’t mean it can’t inspire a person if viewed from a certain perspective. Luke’s Light Sabre? Wow! What a great analogy of the Word of God, a Sword of Light!

A Jedi Knight was not materialistic. I’ve always enjoyed this part of its message. Was this one of the reasons the Jedi had become a dying breed? People love the pleasures life has to offer, but a Jedi was trained to walk a different path drawing on an invisible source of power most people no longer believed in, including Hans Solo, the perfect worldly non-believer! (He came to believe.)

And now Hans is dead, Luke is old and been separated on an island for years, after having great tragedy befall him, as he led a “School”.

But there has been an awakening. Have you felt it?

A new Jedi discovered? Like Luke, she did not even know! She is untrained. Who is she? What is her relationship to Skywalker? Why does his light sabre call to her? The sabre thought lost, suddenly found! This one who’s name is, Rey.

So…I consider this weekend to be special. Even as I’ve been on a journey of my own, what with leaving the “modern” church to build a teepee behind a barn housing Tumbler Pigeons. And there has been an unexpected ingredient added to the mixture of this weekend. A new teacher I came across. (New to me.) So I bought a book of his, not knowing what was in the last third of the book. But I read the whole thing in less than a week! And now it adds to my viewing of Star Wars tomorrow.

Brian Zahnd, is the author. The book: “Sinners in the Hands of a Loving God”. At this time in which I’m trying to figure out some things, this man’s perspective challenges me. He’s caused me to reconsider some theories I’ve had of my own; theories I’ve been uncertain about, but now see possibilities. He seems to have a problem with what I call the “judgement” side of God, of which the Old Testament is a warning to us not to go there! But I’m still sorting out where I agree with him, and where I don’t. I do agree with him in some ways. But I love the last third of his book! Especially at this time! I did not know the book would take me into Revelation! And an analogy of “Godwalker verses Empire”! It could not have come at a more meaningful time!

I think I’m going to have a lot to say on this. Is this part of the awakening? I believe it is, but in what way? I’m very cautious in matters of the soul!

Zahnd explains how John the Revelator was exiled on the Isle of Patmos because of an Empire, a superpower, known as Rome. He also explains how John (or God) encoded the revelation so it would not be obvious it was about the empire Rome. Perhaps this was for his own safety, but whatever the case, the book of Revelation is the story of God and his people resisting the Empire at that time, and perhaps a time yet to come. After all, the Prophet Daniel did interpret the king’s dream and saw a revised Roman Empire in the last days!

Whether we are coming into the last days, or not, the materialistic “World System” has always been the adversary of all “Godwalkers” in the earth. According to Zahnd, and I believe he is right, John the Revelator was concerned the Church was becoming too comfortable in the Roman Empire. John, evidently, had not gained such acceptance, as they exiled him to this island! Pretty obvious he simply was not fitting in, but the Church was beginning to.

I know Constantine eventually comes along, and the rest is history. We happen to have a potential Constantine of our own right now, of which I have spoken of in other articles. It’s all very spooky how it seems to fit together. Those with eyes to see, those who are awake are aware.

Is God treating you as his friend? God reveals things to his friends. Has there been an awakening? Are you aware? Has it been made known to you? Or are you out of the loop? Is this article possibly God inviting you in? Only you can decide these things for yourself.

I know I’m going to have a lot to say about this. I love writing and teaching. Don’t think of this site as just a blog. Think of it as a “BOOK”. If you’re truly a seeker, and if these subjects interest you, then there is much here for you to enjoy. As much as a BOOK!

I don’t want the chapters to be too long. So I’m making a chapter break. I will likely shoot another article out before this day is over, because I already have it on my mind. And tomorrow? After having seen Star Wars? It is likely I will write again, if I think I can do it without causing any spoilers. I’m loving this! I hope you are too!

“Does God have a friend in Israel?”

“But as for you, Israel my servant, Jacob my chosen one, descended from Abraham my friend,” (Isaiah 41:8)

“He (Abraham) was even called the friend of God.” (James 2:23b)

For he (Abraham) looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.” (Hebrews 11:10)

Here’s a simple question. Who is acting more like their father? The Jews who are still determined to rebuild their earthly temple made of stones and brick? The Muslims praying in their Dome of the Rock? Or the Christians who recognize there has been a major change of High Priest, a major change of Covenant, and are no longer looking for a physical earthly building or kingdom?

>Who is the friend of God, in Jerusalem?<

(John 15:15) “I (Jesus) no longer call you (the disciples) slaves, because a master does not confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me.”

“Revelation” is a key sign of being a friend of God!

I repeat, REVELATION (UNDERSTANDING) is a key sign of being a friend of God!

Is there an “awakening” in the House of God? Are the Ten Virgins waking up? Who will be taken, and who will be left behind to face all the horrible trials of tribulation? Who will miss the wedding feast, miss out on being part of the Bride, and miss being a part of New City Jerusalem? My eyes are not on the old temple, (or old Covenant!), but on the New City Jerusalem, a heavenly temple, a heavenly Bride, and the new earth God has promised! That’s where Abraham’s eyes would be, and one might even say already were, and he was the friend of God! But a Jew by physical birth only, is still looking for an earthly kingdom! And this is not God’s friend. At best, still a servant, having no true revelation of what his master is doing.

Jesus hung outside the gates of their city, paying the price for our sins, and they did not see. But some did see. Maybe not till the Day of Pentecost, but sight would come! And now, we who are God’s friends, spiritual descendants of Abraham, we know the future, for God has revealed it to us! And we watch with great groanings, desiring that our mortality be swallowed up by immortality, knowing what great promises all these things are working toward. Also knowing what great pain and suffering must be endured first, before Christ Himself sets upon a Jerusalem throne, reigning in love and peace for 1000 years.

Be of God cheer, brothers and sisters, we have a friend in God, and he has revealed to us how the story ends, and God says, “It is good.” Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

(Romans 4:11b -12) “… So Abraham is the spiritual father of those who have faith but have not been circumcised. They are counted as righteous because of their faith. And Abraham is also the spiritual father of those who have been circumcised, but only if they have the same kind of faith Abraham had ‘before’ he was circumcised.” (Certain notations added by me for emphasis.)

Brothers and sisters, it is so important we fully embrace the New Covenant of our High Priest, Jesus; and leave behind the lesser promises of “an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth”. God has called us his friends if we “know Him”. Jesus told some he did not “know them”, depart from me.

My heart is for this blog site, and my teepee, to be a place where we constantly desire to know Him more. To seek better understanding, and always be spiritually growing. We are seeking an awakening. Not only seeking it, but insisting on it, if we are to be ready when the call for the Bride comes. Scripture plainly shows there will be an awakening, and a dividing, and a leaving behind. For some, this awakening will lead to a sad revelation of “too little, too late”.

I would like to leave you with a final thought. We see there are “2” Covenants. One is called “the old”, and is supposed to be replaced by the success of our Lord’s mission here in earth. The other is called “the new”, and we should not mix the old with the new! Causing rupturing wineskins. And we see “2” judgement thrones. The judgement seat of Christ, and the Great White Throne judgement seat of God. And we see Ten Virgins, divided into “2” groups, on that day. We even see “2” temples, an earthly one in Jerusalem, and a spiritual one waiting to come down out of heaven. There are also “2” resurrections.

“2” Covenants…”2″ judgements…”2″ sets of virgins…”2″ temples….”2″ resurrections. We should see that both Covenants are still in effect depending on what we have personally decided about Christ, our personal relationship to Him.

Now we see “2” people, Mary and Martha, and the words Jesus spoke to each. Could Mary and Martha be a picture of those Ten Virgins? Has half the modern church become Martha? Have we inverted the order of the “2” greatest commandments as given by Christ? Have we become more concerned with serving man, than seeking the strong Presence of God? I leave you with these thoughts.

“I did not want to vote for Donald Trump”

Believe it or not, this is going to tie into “Jerusalem, a city of 3 Faiths”, but I want to start by saying: I did not want to vote for Donald Trump. As a matter of fact, I had already made up my mind I was not going to. I live in Indiana, and when my guy finally fell, defeated in my own state, I thought the race was over for me. I voted against Trump that day, but my guy lost anyway.

At that point I told my wife, the race is over for me, Dear. I definitely can’t vote for Hillary. I see no need to list the multitude of reasons. But neither do I want to vote for a worldly man, such as Trump. He may be successful in the world’s eyes, but as far as I’m concerned, he’s just another ungodly man. I no longer had a horse in the race. I wasn’t going to have to go to the trouble of voting again on that day. It was over for me.

There had been other years I “considered” not voting, but this was the year I was finally going to do it. But then the liberal media kept coming at him, like a bunch of wolves trying to take down a bull. The Trumpster didn’t just cave like so many others, but he fought back, and I do like a fighter. Finally, someone was fighting back against the evil agenda of those who could care less about something called: The Word of God! My heart began turning as I watched this man stand his ground, and not cave. But I still was not blind as to what I was voting for.

I am surprised at how many Christians believe President Trump is a Christian. Whaaat? Definition of the word Christian is a devout follower of Jesus Christ. Does the Donald fit that definition? Not at all! So how do so many Christians seem to add 2+2 and come up with something other than 4? How are they blind to what he makes no effort to hide?

Just because a man may have some morals that happen to line up with “some” church values, and he gives favor to the church, doesn’t mean he is a Christian. What about all the blatant disregard of our Lord’s teachings, and I’m not talking small violations. I won’t guess at what is hidden in his closets, but just the obvious things we all can see. If he has had a true conversion to Christ, then how does such a man continue making millions of dollars off of Casinos, gambling, alcohol consumption, misfortune of others, scantily dressed women, and beauty pageants? These are just the things I know off the top of my head!

The church needs to “awaken” and realize we do have an ungodly man in that office, and we voted him in! Yes, we saved ourselves from Hillary, and we’re making a last ditch effort to drain the D.C. swamp, but don’t kid yourself on who the Donald is! This is just another example of the worldliness infesting the modern church. In Revelation 3:18, Jesus challenged the church of Laodicea to buy ointment for their eyes, so they might see!

But it’s true, many Christians have somehow become convinced the Donald is a Christian. There was a Roman emperor named, Constantine, who claimed to be a Christian also, and in that time gave much favor to the Church! Before his reign was over, he set in motion several changes to the church, some of which we still are entangled in to this day! Constantine marks the greatest diversion from what the early church fathers had been doing for 200 years! It led to the Catholic church, which eventually led to Martin Luther, but when we Protestants came out of her, we still brought baggage with us going all the way back to Constantine!

So…I continue watching. I watch the media who helped me vote for him. I see them frothing at the mouth like the insane, in their desperation to get him out! But I also see a man keep on fighting against the insane! And what shall the result be? Who knows, as the world turns. But he is setting some things in motion, of which Jerusalem is a major event.

Politics have always been such a dark arena, because there is power there, and lots of money, and human nature being what it has always been, it has a powerful pull on the kingdom of man, like the “one ring” in the movies: “Lord of the Ring”. Unless the “heart” is changed and the vessel filled with the Spirit of God, then human nature corrupts everything it touches. This brings us back to Jerusalem, the three faiths, and the children of Abraham.

Those who have become the children of Abraham by way of birth through Jesus Christ, they know God no longer requires a temple in Jerusalem, not really. Yes, if you’re still in that old covenant, then yes, you are still under laws saying Jerusalem is the one place of true worship, but if you have not rejected Christ, as they did, then you have been enlightened by what Jesus told the woman at the well!

(John 4:21) “Believe me, dear woman, the time is coming when it will no longer matter whether you worship the Father on this mountain or in Jerusalem. (VRS 23) But the time is coming – indeed it’s here now – when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way.”

We will continue looking at how us children of Abraham through Christ differs from Abraham’s other children. We take after our father Abraham in some very important ways! One of which is this one more scripture I will leave you with, concerning our father, Abraham. I hope you too, take after Abraham in this:

(Hebrews 11:10) “Abraham was confidently looking forward to a city with eternal foundations, a city designed and built by God.”

This is the temple the followers of Christ are looking for in Jerusalem. It shall come down one day, the Bride of the Lamb, the city Zion! New Jerusalem! But in the meantime, we will watch all those who still do not understand the revelation Jesus gave to a simple woman at the well. A woman who certainly was not a religious scholar, but had such an encounter that day, I’m convinced it changed her life! She had a life changing conversation with Jesus, and rose far above in her understanding, than the religious experts of her day.

We have become the temples of the Holy Spirit. We shall watch all those who still wrestle with the Law, and material things. Look not at that which is seen, but at that which is not seen, and worship God in spirit, and in truth. For the Father seeks those who worship him in “that way”. Selah. (And let us set a proper table while we’re at it. Amen.)

“Where is this Teepee going?”

This is a Teepee that does not move, and yet it’s going somewhere.

In Matthew 25, at midnight, the ten virgins hear a shout declaring: “The bridegroom is coming!” This shout, this declaration awakens them.

Has the shout come yet? Is it just beginning? Are we nearing the midnight hour? Is Jerusalem the capitol of Israel? What time is it? Does anybody know?

Hhmmm… One thing I notice about these virgins is there very rapidly becomes a major division between them. > Give us some of your oil. (They even said, please.) NO! Go get your own. < Are we supposed to be divided? And while they are gone, they are left behind. Those who were ready, were taken.

Some would say I have a negative message as I declare the king has no clothes. I might be causing division. Is it a negative message when a lawyer points out a politician twisting, or adding to, or omitting from our Constitution? Is it negative when an Officer of the Law points out a criminal act? Or a doctor delivers a true message to their patient?

The politician can be corrected. The criminal can be arrested. The patient can be healed. Truth is never negative. It is healing, revealing, liberating, for those who have the wisdom to grow by it. Lies are negative.

Is there an awakening? Has a shout gone forth? Are questions being asked? Are people leaving the modern church in order to save their faith? That’s what I heard one preacher declare. Are they searching for schools in the wilderness, asking: “What hath God really said? Is it true women are not to be pastors, exercising authority over men? Is this really true? Does the New Covenant of love really say that?

Where is this Teepee going? Where is God taking it? It’s going there… into all the rough and tumble of an awakening! How do we set a proper table for God? At the end of Revelation chapter three, Jesus challenges the church of Laodicea with: “So be diligent and turn from your indifference.” (NLT version) (Verse 19).

>Be “diligent”. Turn from your “indifference”.< Is God looking for a proper table setting? He follows this statement with: “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.”

IF YOU HEAR MY VOICE? About what? BE DILIGENT? STOP BEING INDIFFERENT? Has the modern church become indifferent to a proper table setting unto God? So where do we go to find a diligent church? That’s a good question. But my gut says if God is tapping me on the shoulder to do such a thing at this time, then I’m sure I’m not the only one. And are we causing division? A church civil war like the Marvel movies of the Avengers? Ironman verses Captain America, who will now change himself to Nomad? Who’s with Ironman? Who’s with Nomad? Our heroes divided? Some of them at odds with the government?

Well…if telling the other five virgins to get their own oil, if that is a form of division and church civil war, then YES, that’s what we’re doing, because we’re fed up with naked kings and lukewarm Christianity! I’m tired of an unscriptual table, as if what God put in writing does not matter. What “man” has the authority or power to pass such judgement on God? Are not God and his Word, ONE?

There has been an awakening. Have you felt it? Are you aware of it?

The modern church in America has created a theology of kingship, not priesthood! We’re more concerned about the morning stock market than our morning prayers. We walk in the flesh, not the Spirit. We cannot neglect priestly ways and claim to walk in the Spirit. If the branch is not drawing on the Vine, it can do nothing. We feed our bodies every day. They say there is an obesity problem in America. I push wheelchairs in an airport. I’ve seen that problem first-hand. But our prayer life is starving! My house shall be known as a house of prayer? And as a priest of Christ, so you shall be.

Spend that time in prayer. Lay down your kingship as Christ also did, practice your priesthood. Drink of his Holy Spirit, and be part of the awakening.
