“What does it all mean?” Part 1

20180728_145638 This journey has taken a lot out of me… but also put even more in. I somewhat resent the fact I have had to do all this research myself, and found no help from those who are supposed to be our leaders and experts. Those who have diplomas hanging on their wall. Those who are financially supported so they can be “full-time” in the ministry, with no secular job constantly draining them. They taught me very little concerning early Church fathers.

My path has not been perfect. I made some mistakes along the way, had to do a correction or two as I discovered more correct information, and felt a little stupid, but considering I’ve had very little help in digging these things out, I’m pretty happy with how well we have done. The Holy Spirit has been my constant guide, and very long-suffering, patient teacher. He is everything Jesus said.

But now I am at the “Big Question”. Now that I have a much bigger picture than I had before, “What does it all mean?” What is the effect of all this on me? How has this changed me? What will my walk with Christ be like from this day forward?

Let me say this: My body may be in America, but my heart is in the Kingdom of God. Every year Americans celebrate January 1st, New Years Day. But the change in me is so deep that New Years for me has become Nissan the 14th. I will start every year with my Lord’s Passover Meal, and I will start my every year thinking about unleavened bread, desert tents, a cloud and pillar of fire overhead, and pray to live in more perfect love, joy, and peace in my Lord each year. This is how my years will start from this day forward, as far as the power be in me to perform, but this is just the tip of the iceberg. This change goes so very deep. In order to fully explain I must go back to the beginning of my journey. And this blog site confirms that God started here with me, if one should check the early writings.

My journey started with God asking Adam to be the caretaker of a garden that did not seem to need care, because it was perfect. Think about it.

<<<<<*>>>>>

Early in my journey God began speaking to me about “proper table setting”. At that time the Lord’s Supper, Passover meal, sun-worship, short-forming God’s Word, none of these things were even in my mind. I simply understood that at some point, Adam had begun to love Eve more than God, and give her will first place in his life. I began seeing how this disrupted the “Table Setting” in the perfect garden, and began inviting the devil to God’s table, just as he was at the Lord’s Supper.

We all know he showed up. Eve was deceived and Adam lost the garden he had been put in charge of. Then I realized this was a picture of man being put in charge of God’s “Church”. God giving man a second chance. And the first question that came to me was, how well has Adam done with God’s Church, concerning EVE? If history repeats, because the nature of man never changes, how well has today’s Adam done with the Church Garden God has given him? Especially concerning EVE? This is where it all started for me, and then seemed to end at the Lord’s Supper, after a journey through a few other things in between. The Lord’s Supper became like a master key unlocking so much understanding. Until then, I felt lost in an ancient maze of very tangled webs.

I could never have predicted this beginning point, and I also never would have predicted where it was going. From Eve to Passover? And all this has to do with a TABLE? A TABLE God loves to sit at with us, except the setting is all wrong, and God is near to leaving, just as he did Jerusalem in Ezekiel 8?! How’s that for a Big Picture?

I’m very contemplative and reflective today. I’ve been locked in my cave for two days and now entering day three, but I’m about to finally leave. As I spoke of crossing a line a few articles back, then I finally got to have an open and honest conversation with a very close friend, and now I’m at a point of being able to SUM IT ALL UP. I want to do it right, because it has come to mean EVERYTHING to me. So I BEGIN these articles.

I’m about to head to my tipi for the day. I’m still locked away in my cave in Indianapolis at this moment, but the sound of wind in the trees is finally calling me, and God says “Go”. I have yet very much work to do on this place of spiritual get away. But I will not hurry. I will not lose my peace. I will soar more and flap less. God has the timetable on all these things. Perhaps there is help coming I know not of? I sit at that table with God, in perfect peace.

I started my new year with God at the Passover Meal, this year, even though I did not yet realize how big a thing I was tapping into. There was no “bunny” at my table, unless he was to be eaten! I’m so glad I did, even though it was such a feeble effort, like a baby’s first steps. God says do not despise the day of small beginnings. This is the beginning of my best years yet. I have that peace.

So…these articles are sharing the conclusions I have drawn, and the changes this new light has CAUSED in me. I hope you are interested. Tell a friend. These may be the most important articles I have written yet.

I can say this, I see a TABLE. I see a TABLE SETTING. And I see GOD sitting at that TABLE. (WOW.)

He wants to sup with me. He wants to sup with his people. And this TABLE should not be a place in which the devil feels at home! We are the Church wherever we go, and we should be a proper Table Setting. We need to show the world the real Jesus Christ. We are priest of that Table. We stand in the gap between lost man and a place called hell. A place called hell. This is no small thing. There is no greater CALL.

The Passover Meal was the beginning of “Tent Life” for the Children of Israel. I believe they were meant to take what they learned in the wilderness, into the Promised Land. But instead, many of them forgot what it meant to “move with the cloud”, and settled both physically and spiritually into “homes”, even “mansions”, that did not move with God. Personally? I’m just passing through here. May I never leave my Tent Life matrix. May I always know when the cloud is moving, and like a turtle who’s home is on his back, stay with God! Be the Godwalker, an Enoch people. Those who’s Table Setting pleases God.

Definitely to be continued.

A False Matrix

9ab7856d0aa12f6919db565aed5ab50e

Yes…a Truth Storm. But how would we know if we have been innocently deceived into a lie?

We all have some flaws in our brain frame, after all, none are perfect…yet. But what if we had some major deceptions? I mean, like some MAKE GOD “VERY” ANGRY DECEPTIONS. And I’m talking about the “saved”, not just the lost. I’m talking about what we call Church and a Chapter 8 of Ezekiel. Would you want to know? Or remain in your false reality?

How would you feel about those who sold you such a lie? They lied to you and you even paid them hard earned money for the lie, for their unexpert advice, mentoring, guidance. How do you feel about buying a lie from those claiming truth? Does that seem just? Can you get your money back? Not likely.

I discovered a TV series called “Shield”. It’s more of that Marvel super hero stuff I happen to enjoy, but in Season 4, some of them are taken into a Virtual Reality and they do not know it. The False Reality is very real in every way! Some of their team goes into the Matrix to rescue, but the hardest thing is convincing them of the unreality of what they see as real! In their minds it is much more likely the person trying to warn them is crazy! Have we been duped into such a Matrix? Why do our Churches not teach us more concerning the early Church fathers, like Polycarp? (And others.) What are they afraid of? What are they hiding?

It was the same in the movie “Matrix”. Neo did not know that in reality, his body was in a tube with all kinds of tubes hooked up to it, and he was being used as a human battery to power an alien world! If some small inner voice had not convinced him to take a chance, he never would have known, and he would have died happy in that tube! However… if the truth would have been revealed to him after his death…and it was revealed how his life had been used and wasted…then a pain that could not be corrected would have fallen upon him. A pain made even worse, because now nothing could be done about it.

This Helmet of our spiritual Armor is called the “Helmet of Salvation”. It is a brain frame given by God about the truth of salvation. How it works and everything about it. But if your brain frame does not line up with the “Lord’s Supper”, the “Passover Meal” he had that last night with his Disciples, then something is false! There are clues all around you, but do you see them? Do you have the knowledge to understand? Or has that been kept from you?

There is a tangled web of deceit involved that has so side tracked the Church that we are actually in violation of Ezekiel Chapter 8 in major ways! The Church is repeating Jewish history! And even as God was with the “exiles”, and against “Jerusalem” in those days, it’s going to happen again! Even as prophesied in Revelation when Satan is given power over the Church for 3 and a half years! But God was with the exiles!

History repeating. That’s the theory I’m offering, but can I prove it? Can I prove it enough for you to see it too? For your mind to be opened? And is there something God would have us to do about it even if we do see it? Is there anything that can be done? Well… as crazy as this sounds…you can choose to be one of the “exiles” instead of those still residing in Jerusalem. Who would have thought God would allow such a thing? And yet that is exactly what was happening in the day of Ezekiel, and is very likely repeating in the Church today.

If we had leaders who taught us more about what happened in the early Church, the battle that was fought and lost as the Church began going down the Catholic fork in the road, then we would know what’s happening. But our poor leaders “have not”, and so we “do not” know.

When the Protestants rebelled against the “Roman” Catholic Church, did we go back to that fork in the road and make it right? NO, we did not. And that omission is now catching up with us. Admittedly, the wheels of God’s judgement turns very slow, because he is so full of love and grace, but judgement does finally begin to spill over from a very full cup of sin!

The Lord’s Table, his Last Supper, is meant to be a “key”, a “template”, a “master code breaker” to everything “Salvation” really is! That Last Supper is the Passover Meal, therefore it is a master key also! This is why Polycarp, disciple of John, fought so hard to prevent the changes Rome was trying to make! It changed more than just a “technicality”! It has changed the whole picture of Salvation! That Helmet on our head is flawed! It’s a damaged brain frame! And it needs to be redeemed/corrected before the Bridegroom comes and half the virgins are left!

Five of the ten virgins are left behind. Nothing is going to change that. But do you want to be part of those five? That is what we are talking about here, which group we end up in.

From personal experience I know what it is like to come out of the Modern American Church (MAC), and become the “Exiled”. That is exactly what it feels like and how they look at you. But there is even more! In our self-centered, self-serving, ego driven, King Theology system, those still in Jerusalem do not truly mourn your absence, (maybe a few do, but most), have their eyes on the inheritance they believe you left behind! This prosperity driven christian cannot help themself! The brain frame they have is all about being the head and not the tail, the king and not the servant! This is the Matrix they live in! They do not see the error in their reality and do not even realize the actuality of their thought processes!

EZEKIEL 11: starting verse 2, highlights only.>  “The Spirit said to me, “Son of man, these are the men who are planning evil and giving wicked counsel in this city. They say to the people, ‘Is it not a good time to build houses? This city is like an iron pot. We are safe inside of it like meat in a pot.’ Therefore, son of man, prophecy against them loudly and clearly.”

(Verses 14, 15, &16a) > “Then this message came to me from the Lord: ‘Son of man, the people still left in Jerusalem are talking about you and your relatives and all the people of Israel who are in exile. They are saying, ‘Those people are far away from the Lord, so now he has given their land to us!’ Therefore, tell the exiles…”

And what did God say to the exiles? Hhmmm.

I believe very strongly in the word of this message! If you do too, then please tell your friends, notify your blogging people, I have only begun to scratch the surface of what is here. If you believe this to be a true word of our day, motivate others to read too. I suppose only a few out of the many will have eyes to see, but you never know who are the ones, and who are not. We do not judge. We scatter the seed in every direction, and some of it lands on good ground!

This message will continue Sunday. The questions must be answered. How are we in violation of the two most detestable things God lists in Ezekiel 8? And is it just a matter of a couple holidays, or has it affected the way we “Do Church” all year long? Is the way we’re “doing Church” making God angry and we do not even know? We are like the people in Jerusalem, hearing false prophets, thinking we are safe, thinking we are doing right and about to prosper even more, when in “REALITY”, God was very angry with them, God was leaving Jerusalem, he was about to bring tremendous judgement, a refining fire on them, and he was WITH the Exiles! This was the truth! This was the reality of the situation, and all those in the false Matrix of their minds could not see! How can we think we’re so close to God and actually be on the verge of his judgement? But we do.

In Jesus day, it was the “closed minded” who failed to see. Why would we close our mind to greater light? And if we already have the greater light, then what does greater light have to fear from lesser light? The true answer should be: NOTHING.

If you believe this might be a true word from God, then please warn all those you can of what is coming. I do not know how much more plain I can be with this request. How much time we have I cannot say. (God is so merciful.) I’ve done a lot of hard work to make this site a place “easy” to consider if we might be reliving Ezekiel 8, and there is much more to come. Much more details and early Church history. This site might be your quickest and easiest way to offer warning and help to others. As I said, much more explanation is coming, and there is much in past articles also, for those who enjoy digging.

If you desire to search these things out on your own, much work will be required, and this site can help you do it. May God bless every effort you make to know the truth in our modern day. Living an ancient way in the modern day. So says Grandpa White Feather, and “Fellowship of the White Path”. (And am I Indian? No. As far as I know, I don’t have a drop of Indian blood in me. It only sounds that way. Just thought some of you might be wondering.)

The Great Disconnect

20171202_173614 Hi! Grandpa White Feather here with our midweek spiritual food for thought. There use to be a very popular question asked in which when you asked it, the question seemed to magically produce the answer! It really is quite uncanny the way this question really does produce (in most cases) an almost instantaneous answer.

Also, if the person asking the question is thinking correctly, it produces a CORRECT answer! Isn’t that a wonderful thing! But I am troubled by something, because even though the question is very powerful to produce correct answers…there is another question which should be just as powerful and produce the SAME answers…and yet it does not appear to have worked out that way. This is very weird and is cause for serious scrutiny, because herein lies a great mystery we would do well to solve!

The “Popular Question”; the one that became so well known and such a fad that people wore bracelets of “WWJD”, is “What would Jesus do?” If the mind of the person asking the question is of a proper intelligence and Biblical knowledge, this very simple question should produce a very correct answer. And it should be the SAME as the answer produced by my second question! But for some reason these two appear to have produced two very different answers. Hhhhhmmmm. What does this mean?

The second question is almost the same as the first, with only one word changed. For some reason it never became the “popular” question, except with me. When one looks at the two, you would expect them to produce the same answers, but they have not! What is this great mystery, this great disconnect?

The second question is this: “What DID Jesus do?”

I’ve always considered my mind to work in pretty logical ways. Basically, when I think something through, 2+2 should equal 4. So…………..when I ask these two questions, my logical mind assumes that what Jesus “DID” do should be in harmony with what Jesus “WOULD” do! Make sense? (Does to me.)

I never worried about the two ways it could be asked because I ASSUMED the word “WOULD”, projecting forward, would simply agree with and line up with “DID”, looking backward! But much to my surprise, when I look at today’s church, what Jesus WOULD do does not seem to line up with what Jesus DID do! Huh? So is there something wrong with the questions, or the people answering the questions? Here is an example of what I mean.

Jesus came at a time in which the Children of God had slid into a very complicated and demanding religious system in which stone temples were focal points of. But what DID Jesus do? He condemned that system on every level! And he simplified it at every turn! He got in trouble every time he spoke in one of those stone temples! He took their multitude of laws and reduced them down to “TWO”!!! Wow! He said MY yoke is easy and MY burden light. He shifted everything away from “expensive stone temples” to “simple home tables”! And yet today, when asking what WOULD Jesus do, it seems to have produced the very thing he DID NOT DO! We don’t have family, we have a system!

Why would Jesus reproduce the very kind of thing he fought against when setting his living example for us? Why would he reproduce today what he was tearing down yesterday? Why would he change his mind and produce a system that DID not recognize God was doing a new thing, and even went on to crucify him? They did not even recognize God when he showed up! Does this seem logical by any stretch of the imagination? Is this what Jesus WOULD do? To contradict what he DID do? And undo what he did do? What WOULD Jesus do, and what DID Jesus do? Should these two question not produce the same answers? For the One in which there is no shadow of turning? The same yesterday, today, and forever?

Even today I see the church taking the same fork in the road that produced the Catholic church system in which the Protestants rebelled against! But now we do the same? We DO what we UNDID? We’ve hooked up with a Constantine and we’re trying to use political power to force the will of God on heathens? Politics do not change hearts! The work of the church is to change hearts! The swamp will not be drained! Babylon is already rooted in and will come back with a vengeance! Politics is not the answer for the church! Render unto Ceaser what is Ceaser’s and unto God what is God’s! We will not change a single heart through politics, but we do cause the heathens to blaspheme the name of God! Jesus never sought political power! He said his kingdom was not of this kingdom! It drove the apprentice apostles crazy!

It is our duty to vote, and vote in a godly way, to have some idea of what is going on, and I’m sure God calls some of his children to pursue government positions, but God’s kingdom advances by changing hearts, not seeking to force his will upon an unbelieving people! So cast your vote faithfully, but preach Jesus! Not a political party or president! Do not let him influence the voice and will of God for the church, like what happened when we left what our early church fathers established! (But we’re already doing it.)

I hear the Spirit of God saying, Slow down, and hear God. Simplify! My yoke is easy. My burden is light. Come to my TABLE and sup with me. Be more conscious of the Temple I raised in three days, not a stone temple like in Jerusalem! I have not changed! What I DID do is what I STILL do! Do not repeat the history you once condemned! Come out from among them and be separate! Live different! Know my ways of peace, freedom, and Spirit!

No wonder the church of Laodicea made Jesus so sick of his stomach, he threatened to spue them out of his mouth! But he also offered to them:

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” (Rev. 3:20)

God’s Kingdom is about the Lord’s Table. It’s about a family coming together at a Table and showing the world the LOVE we enjoy in God’s Kingdom. Will Jesus find true faith when he returns? After the Holy Spirit filled the Apostles, they finally understood the difference between an earthly temple, and God’s heavenly Table. The Book of Revelation ends with declaring there will be NO Temple in the new heaven! (Rev. 21:22) But there is a feast of the Bride, and the Presence of God! (It’s just that simple?)

“Death of the Old Man”

20170430_132246 It has been my hope that I’m not taking this journey alone. It has been my hope that when others would see strong evidence, provided by the early church fathers, and confirmed in our Bible, that there would be those stirred from our modern comforts of mediocrity to join in this journey. Jesus walked the Red Path so we could walk the White! Do we feel that? Do we identify and embrace it for ourself? Do we show our love for Him in the same way He showed it for us, by our cross? Are we Americans “blue light special christians”? (small “c” intentional.) Is that good enough for us? Is that what we want to be as we embrace the pleasures of this world?

Why is it so important that Polycarp stood up against the change Rome wanted to bring to the “Christian Passover Supper”? Why is all of this so important? Do we not care that we’ve been sold a weak and sickly cow, instead of a strong and healthy bull? We’ve been told, “Buy into this! This will make you strong in the Lord!” But like Jesus said to the church of Laodicea: “…and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:”

I did not know I would discover a “Master Key”. God in his wisdom provided a Master Key, and he made it the Lord’s Supper! (How incredibly like God!) Once I saw the change of emphasis that for some reason Polycarp seemed to be so intense and distraught about, everything else began to unfold. I had explored some false rabbit trails that wasted my time, twisted my mind, left me near ready to give up; but when I began trying to understand what Polycarp was so upset about, the MAZE started opening!

The Cross! “By faith Moses when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt…” (!)

And God chose “THIS MAN” (Moses!), to be the one through which the Passover Meal would come about! The choice Moses made, before he was then chosen, is symbolic of everything we are talking about. This is the choice we made at the altar that day we got saved! A choice to leave this world for the greater values of the Kingdom of God! But are we indeed doing this, or have we like so many others… slid with the slight-of-hand?

Let me show you this same shift in another way. It is amazing how many ways this “slight of the devil’s hand” has permeated everything. As in our short-form Lord’s Supper, which as we celebrate the Lord’s Meal, the Passover, has become a Resurrection service on Sunday, we call Easter. In most churches even Peter Rabbit comes to church on that particular Sunday, but that is not the item I’m talking about. Keep your eyes on “the shift”, the slight of hand. (Peter rabbit is just  by-product of the magician’s show.)

Did you REALLY understand the supernatural event your Baptism symbolized and testified to the world on that day? Assuming you were even told how important it was for you to get Baptized, and assuming you knew that meant complete immersion in water. I’m sure many of today’s Pastors would argue with me on this, because of the way we have been raised to think, the slight-of-hand; but the emphasis of that Baptism is the DEATH OF THE OLD MAN! Once again, the emphasis is meant to be DEATH! And why is that so important?

You may have been sold the sickly cow of “once saved, always saved”, but that simply is not true. If we thought we were being baptized into an easy ride to heaven, that simply is not true! If we don’t make the same choice Moses made, that resurrection is not yet ours! And this is all vividly shown in the Christian Passover Meal. What we have right now is that cross! The resurrection is future! He that endures to the end shall have it. And yes, nothing will separate us from God’s love. He will always love us even if we prove to be the sinner he has to judge on judgement day. He loves every person alive on this earth, and proved it on that cross when he died for the sins of “the world”! But we show our love for him through a death also, a death to our old man, and a life of sin, a life spent on SELF.

The DEATH is the important thing, because if the DEATH happens, the walking in the NEWNESS of LIFE will be automatic! (By that I don’t mean “easy”, just that it is sure to happen. A good tree will bear good fruit. Agape love.God’s love.) But God knows who we are, and our continual need to embrace a cross, and this only happens through the power of the Holy Spirit. Satan knows he’s got to divert our eyes from the cross, if he is going to pull off his evil magic show. The master of illusion, sucking us in.

ROMANS 6:3 > “Know ye not, that so many of us that were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?”

I was baptized at age of twelve, and even at that age, I wish I had been required to sit down with the Pastor and been taught “in detail” what that Baptism was supposed to mean to me, other than an escape hatch from hell. The scriptures go on to say we were baptized into his DEATH, “so that” we could be raised into a “walk” (present tense), that the world would say…Wow! Look at the change! Can you believe Moses has actually left us? He left all the pleasures we Egyptians gave him? He’d rather suffer with those stupid Israelites, who claim to be the people of God? Look at them! How stupid! Obviously our Gods are much more powerful than whoever their God is. Who would want to live like that? He deserves whatever he gets! After we were so good to him!

However…as they say…it is not he who starts a race well…but he who finishes well. I got to say…Egyptians are not known for finishing well in the Bible. And I guess they convieniently would not consider how evil they were being to God’s people, as they were being good to Moses. I’m so glad Moses had a heart to see the truth, and not serve self, even when his personal cost was so high! He lost everything but his life, and barely kept that.

I need to add one more thing before we close. As the Israelites were rushed out of Egypt that Passover night, God was not finished painting US his picture. That painting even goes into the Promised Land and unto David. But the first thing we see is the Israelites trapped against the Red Sea, and Pharaoh in hot pursuit! As I hope you know, the Red Sea became a picture of Baptism immediately following salvation. (As immediate as possible.) But it is a Baptism of DEATH!

Pharaoh and his armies die there, but also the Israelites are not delivered into the Promised Land on the other side, but into the WILDERNESS, where they will receive the LAW! And remember this, because they failed to “die to self” and trust God, the “OLDER GENERATION”, or “THE OLD MAN”, all died in the wilderness! (Except for the 2 who successfully died to self.) The wilderness is a picture of the old man dying! And then there is another “CROSS”-ing, (a 2nd CROSS), a picture of complete surrender, maturity, fullness of Holy Spirit, into the Promised Land. Wow! What a painting! But what has Satan done in his slight-of-hand?

Today…many people think you can skip the wilderness, not die to self, and jump right into the Promised Land, which they picture as a place where they live in milk and honey. (Have you ever studied their life in the Promised Land??? Maybe we need to study in detail, God’s version of milk and honey?)

In Satan’s painting, a perverted image of the real, the wilderness is belittled and lost in all the talk of the Promised Land. Because Satan knows, if he can keep our eyes looking back to Egypt, we will be judged in that wilderness, and never make that second “CROSS”ing. Can it be any more plain?

I really wish more people would comment on how they feel about our modern version of Church. I’m looking more and more at Home Church, Micro-Church. This is a movement that doesn’t seem to be going away, and is growing stronger day by day. I will likely write about what I learn eventually, but my journey still has a lot of “checking” to do. I recently read a whole book on the “Church of Christ”. It did cause me to get a little stronger in defending my faith. But in the end, I still did not see what I’m looking for. (Not that they don’t have something to offer, as today’s churches go, but it still don’t fit what I believe is out there…somewhere!)

I know I’m not the only one having these thoughts about our modern church. But how many of us are actually making an effort to “change”? Learn, seek, and find. I do not know. If the amount of comments I receive on this site is any indication, then I would guess not many. Most are content in our modern mediocrity, or see no real problem. The sickly cow must be blind also. How convienient for the devil. If this article seems hard to you, compare it to our Lord’s words to Laodicea. You’ll find I’m a kitty-cat compared to HIM. Selah.

My journey continues. I think I got a long ways to go, but I’m not giving up, and I’m very excited about the progress I’ve made so far! I’ve seen so much I never saw before. We are doing a Christian Passover Meal at our house this 30th of March, starting at sundown and running to midnight. So far I’m having trouble finding anyone to do it with us. Some of my friends no longer trust me because I left “their” church, and since I have not found another yet. And then other people I know, don’t like the idea of being up so late with their children, and for something they don’t see the importance of anyway. I’m not discouraged because this is my first year doing this, a year for learning, and once I do find a church, it will be with a people who do see the value of such a thing, or I won’t be going there. Next year will likely be different.

I have done much research, study, and writing of all these things in previous articles. So if you have questions about how I got to the place I currently am, I have detailed pretty much every step of the journey. It’s all here if you have a desire to know. Our Lord willing…more to come soon…including our experience in the Lord’s Passover Supper. The Jews believe that night is the most powerful night of all year to be set free from something. Well…I know the name of Jesus is always FULLY powerful…but if something in that night increases my own faith, humility, and obedience? Well, who’s to say?

“Fellowship of the White Path” / Grandpa White Feather.

Jesus spent 40 days in the wilderness before his baptism in the River Jordan, the same 2nd River Israel had to cross. The Jews spent 40 years! Hhmmmm? (And then a dove decended, symbolizing the Holy Spirit. Wow! What a picture!)

Church History & The MAZE V

20171117_161659 So what do we have now? How does Early Church / Pre-Catholic, (Say 33 – 270 A.D.), compare to what we have today? And then ask yourself, “How do I feel about this?” Also ask, “Is there anything I should do?” Here we go…

1.) In earlier articles we showed how Jesus made a shift from the Jewish synagogues and took his Gospel message into “Homes”, the Homes of common people, where instead of preaching from a stone altar, he sat at a simple Table in your house. Instead of a focus on bigger stone temples, he focused on “Heart Temples”, God in our heart. He got in trouble every time he spoke in the Temples, but he flourished in the Homes.

2.) We see the House Church Bishops, starting with Polycarp of Smyrna, standing up to the Bishops of Rome at least until 250 A.D.. There was no “Holy See” in Rome! But as a pagan Emperor named Constantine rose to power, so did the Bishops of Rome. There was great pagan influence in the Church business during this time. And as the Rome Bishop gained more power, the Christian way of Passover Feast was changed into a short-form full of ceremony and pomp. It was no longer the “Welcoming Table“, but a stone altar. And the Holy See gladly accepted the large buildings Rome now offered. The shift Jesus had intentionally established was UNDONE. In effect, it was a shift back to synagogue. And for the most part, this is where we still are today.

3.) Here is one effect of the large fancy buildings: DEBT/MONEY/BIG BUDGETS/PRESSURE/SLAVERIES/BILLS/TAXES/LOSS OF FREEDOM/LOSS OF INDEPENDANCE. Most of our modern churches have a threat constantly hanging over their heads. Got to have a certain amount of money, or we lose everything! We got to PLEASE PEOPLE, or we lose everything. Free-will offerings, a basket by the door is no longer the way, and since we no longer bring everything into a common stock, then we must pull Old Testament “LAW” of tithing and force it into the NEW TESTAMENT covenant. If you’re not giving at least 10%, you’re robbing God! You cannot teach the tithe from the New Testament, a church which started by bringing all things common and a tithe message would have been ridiculous anyway. Ever thought about it?

4.) For a long time, ministers were servants, not superstars. They lived off free-will offerings, and they served their people. They shepherded their flocks and led them into green pastures, and I’m not talking about money. The Cross was very real in their life, not only because they might end up nailed to one, but also the Lord’s Supper still had an emphasis on the CROSS more than the resurrection! For as often as ye partake of this cup you do show the Lord’s ‘death’ until he returns. (But here again, a shift was made by the Bishops of Rome. Bishop Polycarp and the Asia Minor churches fought that change faithfully, declaring they were taught of the APOSTLES how to have a proper Lord’s Supper. But the Bishops of Rome even over-ruled the APOSTLES.) That’s ignorance gone to seed, if you ask me.

5.) In our large churches we have Pastors who do not really know us, and people following Pastors they do not really know either. We have superstar talent and expensive stage lights. We have large congregations, but we are not “family” with each other. And like the Post Constantine church, we have people attending church just because of the “benefits” it affords, not to take up their own personal cross of real sacrifice. Agape Love looks strangely like a cross. Have you ever noticed?  Christianity has camouflaged materialism into simply the right to be successful. I’ll never forget when my last Pastor opened a service teaching about how Jesus did not have a place to lay his head, and immediately followed it by promoting the Harley Davis motorcycle ride they were having the following weekend! (In the meantime, more people starve and suffer lack every day.) They saw no oxymoron in all this.

6.) The Apostle Paul, in I Corinthians 11:17-33, writes to a church having inner struggles, but he describes a way of doing things I’m not familiar with in our modern churches. He gives a few of the details of a proper Lord’s Supper. He admonishes them for not really focusing on the Lord’s Supper, and having divisions among themselves, eating their own food and not sharing with the needs of others. He says they disgrace God’s church and shame the poor. He describes a meal! He describes sharing and checking on those in need. He goes on to speak of the communion of the Bread and the Juice, and speaks of how it announces the Lord’s DEATH until he comes again. What church today celebrates the Lord’s Supper the same way Paul speaks of here, and the same way Polycarp fought the Bishops of Rome concerning in his day? Evidently, this was a very important subject in the early church!

7.) These are a few of the things we have found, and wrote of so far. Now…what does it all mean?

Are congregations to large to be able to do a Lord’s Supper in the way it was done then? Is it impossible to maintain a family environment past a certain number of people? Did the early church intentionally seek smaller groups that would multiply outward, rather than larger and larger numbers coming inwardly to a large building, but a smaller area of coverage? Was money less of an issue when there is no large overhead, and the church is debt free? Should we shift back to a “Table”? The Lord’s Table? Should we shift back to an emphasis on the cross more than the empty tomb, of which we do not actually possess without embracing that cross? Have we become the Laodicean church who is rich and has need of nothing? Which just happens to be the last church in those list of churches. Is the hand-writing on the wall? But if we are to shift to smaller groups, where do you find so many trustworthy Bishops? This then requires another shift we got away from…

8.) DISCIPLESHIP! As Pastors and flock are much more personable, we promote from within! God will raise up leaders we already know and trust, proven leaders ready to bishop, oversee a flock faithfully. It seems to be the Early Church way. What can I say? I don’t know if this is even possible anymore? I know Home Churches are a rising thing here in America, and pretty much a necessity in hostile lands. Is this God’s hand moving us back to our good beginning? My wife and I have concluded this much, for those who miss that first church empty tomb, known as the rapture; I’m pretty sure the foolish virgins will discover the 666 forces us back into the early mode of church. What do you think?

Today has been sort of a regroup and think opportunity. We have covered much territory in our journey for a true vision. Steady progress has been made. I need to give some more early church father quotes and tie up a few more loose ends before we decide where this journey leads next. My wife and I are planning to do an early church Lord’s Supper here at our house this coming 14th of Nisan, which is only 20 days away now. We have never done this before, and I’m still working out my details.

The story I wrote in the previous two articles is somewhat of a pattern and goal. One early church father warned that we must not do the Passover in the same way as the Jews. We have a different agenda and message. We must make sure that what we do declares Jesus as the Messiah they still look for! There is a definite difference in a Christian Passover compared to a Jewish Passover, and that must be made plain. I’m looking very forward to this challenge and blessing.

When I first left the modern church to seek the early fathers, I had no idea a major portion of the evidence and answer would revolve around the Lord’s Supper and Passover. I had no idea I would discover such a thing, and also find myself approaching the very time on the calendar that would allow opportunity to have such a service if I was willing to accept the mission. God timed this. I have to ask myself if that adds any meaning to the search I have made, or has it been pure coincidence? If it is pure coincidence, it’s a mighty big one!

Therefore I have felt I must accept this challenge. It’s not about how perfect I accomplish some set of rules. Its about the sincerity in my heart. One of the differences in our Covenant, it allows for our honest human short comings. Yes, I want to make it as special, humble, and family as possible. But when God sees the blood OF CHRIST, he passes over my imperfections. If I do what I do because I love Him, and love people, then I’m standing on pretty safe ground. Thank you Jesus.

Church History / Maze Runner!

20171117_161659 I’ve been away for a few days, lost in running a maze. Hence, new title. And a very meaningful one. We are still in pursuit of unraveling the mystery of our early church fathers compared to our modern American church, because frankly folks, something is rotten in Denmark. And after several intense days in the maze, I’m beginning to have proof.

What has taken me many hours/days/weeks of research, and many many pages of reading, I will hopefully be able to condense for you in the articles to follow. My search is finally starting to pay off. I thought I was going crazy at one point. My mind was literally in a swirl. I wake up every morning with God speaking, helping me finally organize what I learned the day before, giving me some sanity before I come out from under those covers. So before we get into too much, I want to talk about this MAZE.

The devil has done a good job of trying to hide his tracks, but not good enough! The diligent can still find a true path. The discerning can still see Satan’s footprints where he has trod, and beware. But it’s not easy. This maze will eat you alive if it gets the chance! It will crush you in its walls! You may think I’m being too dramatic, exaggerating, but I’ve spent days there trying to survive and find my way. I now have a marked path you can take advantage of and research for yourself. It will unfold here slowly, but it can greatly speed your own research if you so desire.

God has also timed all this perfectly. You are not going to believe what I have found concerning Easter, and a big confrontation in the early churches concerning this! And I’m talking church fathers who sat under the Apostle John! And other Apostles. This has become one of my greatest finds, so far, and is a strong piece of evidence in this church court and trial we have begun to set up! And wouldn’t you know it, here we are in the time of Lent, well on our way to Easter! You would think I set this up, but not I! Grandpa White Feather is not that powerful. Believe me. I can’t even do a rain dance! (LOL).

There is a table I must set in order to properly present the spiritual food I have found. For as you know, this blog site is all about the “Table”, more than the “Temple”. (Please read earlier blogs to understand.) For the appetizer, I need to talk about this MAZE. First of all, I’d like to say it is EVIL! I’m not exaggerating when I say people have tried to use it to confuse the honest seeker, and lead them on paths that are dead ends! The end result being they never find their way out! They finally become so exhausted, they give up and simply yield to whatever strongest stream seems to be pulling them.

I am also amazed that I gave this site the name: “Path Without End”. The one path you are trying to find in a maze is the one without end! All the others dead end! The only path leading out of the prison of the maze is the path that does not end! I remember when I felt God gave me that title for the blog. I now shake my head in wonder.

So… if you have not already been thinking it, yes…this mission I have been on reminded me of the movie: “The Maze Runner”, which I saw a couple years ago, and the final episode of the trilogy is playing at theaters right now. Subtitle to final episode just happens to be: “The Death Cure”. (Wow.) (This is almost too much.)

So I stuck the first movie in my player and rewatched it, to refresh my mind on the details. (I wasn’t too big on episode 2, but looking very forward to #3, and will likely see tomorrow.) As I read the backside of the DVD, consider the plot description it gave >

Thomas wakes up trapped in a massive, ever-changing maze with a group of boys who have no memory of the outside world. Facing dangerous obstacles at every turn, especially the deadly Grievers that roam the concrete corridors at night, Thomas and the others must race to piece together clues in order to discover their true purpose, and find a way out before it’s too late!

I feel like in a spiritual way I have been living that movie! Notice a few coincidental details. His name is “Thomas”, doubting Thomas? – This maze is full of false paths and much opportunity for doubting. 2nd: “Wakes up?” God is calling his people to wake up! And when we do, we discover we are #3> “Trapped”… in a “Box”! And if we try to find our way out > #4 It is a “deadly maze” with changing walls and creatures that want to kill you! #5 And they have no “memory of their past”! (Early church fathers?) Or the world outside their four walls. They can barely remember their name! The deadly maze is between them and the vital answers they need! #6 A message is sent saying their will be no more food or supplies sent to this box, signaling “time is running out”! (Billy Graham passes and if you have not read the previous article “Billy Graham/ Methuselah”, I highly recommend you do!) #7 So they must piece together “clues”! #8 In order to discover their “true purpose”! #9 And find their way out before it is “too late”!

Wow…that even amazes me as I look at it, and I already knew of this comparison.

I try to keep my articles to approximately 1000 words. My recent days in the cave have been very rewarding and I have much to share, but do not want to choke you. Also, a peaceful meal is always best. He is the Prince of Peace. So my plan over the next few days is to keep it short, but write often and soon. So realize this is a very real and deadly maze. I invite you to explore it with me, there is much more to come, but I would like to end with a final note on Billy Graham.

Reverend Graham is being buried today, as a matter of fact, as I write these words, his services just started 10 minutes ago. It causes me to pause to consider that, but I want to point out his services are being held in a large tent, at the foot of a 40 foot glass cross in the side of what looks like a remodeled barn. The photo I saw even showed other farm buildings around. Reminds me of where my Teepee is, and the barn I worked on there just this week. The Internet said this barn is the “Billy Graham Library”. The part I especially want to point out is the CROSS. And here is the reason why>

Reading the early church fathers has greatly affected me. We have our popular modern day writers, and some of them excite us to the point of recommending to others. But because they are not canon scripture, Pastors do not generally preach from them in church. However, when it comes to someone who actually sat under the teachings of the Apostles, and were appointed church bishops by the Apostles, and proved themselves faithfully even unto death, just like the Apostles; I think I would like to know more of things they wrote and taught. I don’t know why our churches have not taught us more of these things? I think they are intentionally hiding certain things. And so far, what I have found, lends to confirming such an accusation. And our Lord’s CROSS has a big part in what I’m finding, even as Reverend Graham is reminding everyone of, this very day, probably this very moment. (Please read the below article, if you want to know more of Billy Graham and Methuselah). When we return we will begin revealing why I’m pointing out, once again, that CROSS. And so it seems is Billy Graham. More coming very soon.

Billy Graham / Methuselah?

20170430_151937 This may sound weird, and please allow me to explain what I mean by this, but I have been watching for the passing of Billy Graham for years. It did not surprise me when he lived to be so old, because I “suspect” Reverend Graham may have been a “marker” with God. Has there ever been a more well-known, or stronger preacher of GRACE, than Billy Graham? The GRACE preacher. And what does this mean?

Well…remember how we get a little mystical here…I can only make possible suggestions…you must decide if it has any value, or not. But I see a world racing towards the book of Revelation, just like mankind was in the days of Noah. But God had a marker in that day. His name was Methuselah. He is the oldest living man we have record of, living to be 969! Consider how spiritually interesting those numbers are. Methuselah’s son, Lemech (father of Noah), lived to be 777! Another set of very interesting numbers. And his grandpa, Grandpa Enoch, never died! But was translated 300 years after the birth of his son, Methuselah. More interesting numbers. Then Noah goes into the ark at age 600! (Interesting.) And if you calculate all these numbers you will find that in the same year Methuselah died, the great flood came!

From the date of Methuselah’s birth a clock of judgement began ticking, but God, showing his great mercy and long-suffering for sinful man, extended Methuselah’s life to be the longest of anyone known! And even though Billy Graham lived to be very old against all the odds, and he died at 99, another interesting number, those are not the reasons I have looked at him as a possible marker, although they do add evidence. We have a lot to consider here, and I will try to be as concise and simple as possible.

In Noah’s case, it all started with his great grand daddy Enoch. This guy was the 7th generation from Adam! (Another special number.) And he was so special, it says he walked with God, and pleased God! So much so that “God took him”! He was translated! But before God took him, he had a son named Methuselah, and if you study the name deep enough, you will find meanings of “man”, “mature man”, “extension of”, and “coming judgement”, as in a dart or missile!

I was curious one day and began calculating all the very specific dates (ages) given from Enoch to Noah concerning birth of children and ages of death. It was then I discovered that the flood was unleashed the very year this very long-lived person, Methuselah died! In other words, and I assume no one knew this, but every year Methuselah lived was another year the judgement did NOT come. And in this I saw a tremendous testimony of God’s great mercy and how he does not want to pour out judgement, but eventually the wickedness reaches such a level that there is no other choice.

As you can see, Noah was of a very special linage. It wasn’t just Noah. But how does this relate to Billy Graham? It’s not his great age, or that his number is 99 and Methuselah was 969, or that he fell just short of 100, like Methuselah fell short of 1000. (I had suspected he would not see 100, for this very reason.)

It’s because of what his whole life stood for. God’s GRACE! And if there is to be a judgement, which we know Revelation predicts eventually, and if God would choose to have a “marker”, like he did “in the days of Noah”, then what more likely person than the preacher of GRACE, Billy Graham? What more likely person, in all of the earth, who spoke to so many leaders of the whole earth, was so well respected, was so consistent in his message of God’s love and grace, and whose age and numbers also seem to be “interesting”?

Now I add to this what I see as a civil war going on in the churches, which many do not even seem to be aware of, but a silent and mostly respectable war going on between the “Government Pleasing” churches and the “God Pleasing” churches. (Enoch pleased God?) Hhmmm. (And was raptured?) Hhhhhmmmmmmm.

Enough said on that, but I will add yet one more possibility. Again, only food for spiritual thought. You decide. Our President is known for the “Art of the Deal”, and his abilities in this area. And with the move he made concerning the capitol of Jerusalem, I see it as a move that had to be made if there will ever be the peace treaty there. At such a time as all this, am I saying Trump is the antichrist? NO, I AM NOT. I think before his 4-8 years are over, he could be the beginning of the white horse going forth. Is that the same person as the antichrist? I don’t know, but my theory is, if Billy Graham has been a marker from God, then God just took that marker away. His prayers are no longer rising up from the earth. Whatever the power of his prayers may have been, they are in heaven now, but they are not here.

The Ten Virgins heard a cry and woke from their slumber. They discovered their lamps had gone out! They begin to trim their wicks. I believe a trimming is going on even now. However, only five were actually able to light those wicks! So the five foolish go to the five wise asking for charity, give us of your extra oil, and the five wise say no! A division! A civil war? Hhmmm.

Billy Graham is now face to face with our Lord. I envy him. But he ran his race and completed it. Will we be able to say the same? Perhaps if we are wise, it’s not too late? Let a fire of God light in us before it is too late. The door of the ark closed, the five foolish were left behind, but in every case, the “faithful” made it. Jesus said, “Remember Lot’s wife.” Just three little words. Another special number. SELAH.

“Mirror, mirror, on the wall.”

20171202_173614 My day usually starts with 3 things: Quiet, white thoughts (prayer), and black coffee. Pretty much in that order. One reason I start my day that way is because I know without “God’s” power in “my” life then “my” monster comes more and more out of the cage God currently has him in. The more I understand Beatitude #1, the better off I am. The more I am the tax collector crying out to God have mercy on me, and not the Pharisee praying “thank you God I’m not like him”, the better off I am. So I like giving God my very first fruits of the day, and taking no chances, for I know what I am. I like gathering the manna God rains down in the morning, but melts away in the heat. It cannot be found after we are worn and weary from our busy day. (So says Grandpa White Feather. LOL)

We have just spent a lot of time on the previous 5 articles: “Is God the Monster?” I must say it has been a labor of love and revelation for me. In the beginning I was hesitant to go down that path, for I was not sure I could do justice to the subject. But God was there all the time, leading me places I was not expecting, and even revealing things I had not seen. For example, God charged Adam to dress and keep the Garden. I always wondered what Adam was supposed to do in a perfect Garden? What work was there to do?

But in these articles we began asking the question, when did Adam’s “turning” actually begin? How long had the “table been set” for the monster to have his day? Adam failed to maintain a certain “spiritual atmosphere” in the Garden. He failed to maintain the “Lord’s Table”, and it became a table set for the monster. I never saw this before. (And there is much more that could be said on that.)

Todays words are mostly to ask that all you very busy people, for I know that we all are, but if you missed any of the 5 episodes, I think it is worth our time to… get quiet… enter some white thoughts…maybe grab a cup of black coffee (or tea)…and go back to read those articles again…I know I have…and will again and again. (The Path of the White Feather.)

If we are the tax collector and not the Pharisee, then we know what we see about ourself when we look in God’s mirror. If we understand Beatitude #1, then we know we are the monster, not God. But the monster wants to dress you up, justify yourself and your actions, turn you into the older brother of the prodigal son, turn you into a Cain!

My words on this today is, never forget what you see in God’s mirror. Look in it regularly, and live a life of love and mercy because we know except for the grace of God, we are still the monster.

“For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in the mirror. YOU SEE YOURSELF, walk away, AND FORGET what you look like. But if you look CAREFULLY into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and DON’T FORGET what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.” (James 1:23-25 NLT)

(Verse 27) “Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means…(?)

Dear Lord, I pray that by the ministry of your Holy Spirit in us, that you would show us where we are too proud, too much in love with ourself and our ways, and teach us to walk your white path of humility. You walked the red path, so we could walk the white. We are the monsters who ripped you to shreds and turned your path red. May we never forget. Amen.

“Is God the Monster?” Part V

20171202_192016 “Even Gentiles, who do not have God’s written law, show that they know his law when they instinctively obey it, even without having heard it. They demonstrate that God’s law is written in their hearts, for there own conscience and thoughts either accuse them or tell them they are doing right. And this is the message I proclaim — that the day is coming when God, through Christ Jesus, will judge everyone’s secret life.” Romans 2:14-16

In the episodes leading up to this point, we have emphasized how it is not God who is the monster, but it is us. In the last episode we even showed a great deal of evidence that God has mercy for those who have never had a proper introduction to Christ, and prayed for such people when he prayed “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” The above scripture (Rom. 2:14-16), is another scripture referencing such a people. We called these people the “Golden Rule People”, and presented evidence that they may inherit the earth, the New Earth! While the Bride of the Lamb enjoys the fullness of God’s Kingdom in New City Jerusalem. Such wonderful possibilities. All indicating God is not the monster some like to believe and teach.

Until now, all this has been the easy part. After much study I cannot deny there is a “Cup of Wrath” slowly filling for all those who are truly monsters. However, what I find so very interesting, is what fills the cup! What is the cup filled with that eventually pours out on the “filler”? Because I think it may not be what most of us envision. Who qualifies as a monster in the eyes of God? The monsters are actually filling their own cup! As we have said, our sin nature is self-destructive. But again, what does God consider to be so evil, that he allows it to fill the cup? What kind of darkness is filling the cup?

This Episode #5 also begins our attempt to understand God as revealed in the Old Testament. I do not consider this a small thing. Our journey will begin in the New Testament, but will eventually also enter the old. I might add on a personal note, I am still between jobs, waiting for the background check to clear, which seems to be moving extra slow for some odd reason; and I am still fighting a virus in my lungs that does not want to go away. All of this has contributed to my being locked away in my cave to ponder and write these things. You be the judge if you think God’s hand is in this, but I am looking forward to being healthy again. Soon! (I hope.)

In Isaiah 60:2a, the Bible reveals “darkness”, and also something called “gross darkness”. “For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people:…”

I think we have proven hell is a place God has reserved for “monsters”, but what does God consider to be a monster? Certainly not the innocent. I believe Jesus revealed to us over and over again what God considers to be monstrous, and it is not only darkness, but a gross darkness so evil our minds can barely comprehend! Satan is very good at hiding his true image. No one in their “right mind” would ever want to be associated with a darkness so sick, unless they too are a monster.

God’s word even speaks of a “reprobate mind”, which these people are given over to because they do not want to recognize God is God. What is reprobate? Gross darkness! A darkness that would murder their own Creator in full knowledge of what they are doing. Such as what we might see rise up after the 1000 year reign of Christ. This army of attackers still want to murder God even after 1000 years of peace and beauty! Again we ask, what kind of monster are such people? And may we all pray we never do such a thing ourself, because that seed is in every one of us. Lord have mercy on each of us, and keep us in your grace.

This actually is our first snapshot of Jesus revealing what God considers so evil, that it is monstrous, and if taken far enough, becomes unredeemable. Did you ever notice how Jesus was very merciful to the poor and humble, but very hard to the Pharisees? How is it he could eat with sinners but always ended up in trouble in the Temples?

“Two men went to the temple to pray. One was a Pharisee, and the other was a despised tax collector.” (Anybody remember how Jesus treated Zachaeus?)

This parable is contained in  Luke 18, and Jesus spoke it to the Pharisees! About how the Pharisee prayed a prayer of self pride, but the tax collector recognized his own spiritual poverty (Beatitude #1), and cried out to God for mercy. Then Jesus said this: “I tell you this sinner, not the Pharisee, returned home justified before God. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” (Verse 14).

Immediately after this parable, probably on a different day, but Luke presents it at this time, Jesus speaks of children: “I tell you the truth, everyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.”

In an earlier episode we considered the wisdom of a little child and how they have a natural fear of monsters lurking in the dark, and therefore, also have a natural love for light! But as we outgrow our childhood, we have the potential to love gross darkness and hate the light! This is such an evil, and we could name different sins like pornography, adultery, hate, murder, stealing, lying, selfishness; but when you boil it all down, the plain evidence Jesus revealed about the Father over and over again, is that God is going to put down the PROUD and ARROGANT, and lift up the poor and humble. It appears this is what is filling the cup, filled by the sinner themself, and then poured out on himself, only multiplied, because a harvest is always multiplied. We reap the harvest we have sown with our own hands. Spiritual law 101, except for grace!

Back in Revelation again, we find this same analogy. The harlot has filled her cup! But with what?

“And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:” (Rev. 17:4) (Full of what? Gross darkness!)

“And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus:” (Rev. 17:6a)

“And then I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.” (Rev. 18: 4-6) (The cup which she has filled!)

From there the scriptures go on to describe what incredible pleasures and luxuries she had indulged herself in. Such pride and arrogance. So what is the measure of a monster? How much does the cup of wrath hold before it spills over? Because this is where it connects to the Old Testament, when God told Abraham he could not have the promised land yet, for at least another several hundred years! “Because the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.” (Gen. 15:16)

Had the Amorites never filled that cup, it would not have poured out on them. But notice what our God judges so severely: Pride, arrogance, exalting yourself at the expense of others, rather than sacrificing yourself for the love of others. The Golden Rule. This is the sin God so hates. This is the sin Satan is so full of, even from his very beginning steps into a world of gross darkness. This is the monster. It is a form of self love over God and anyone else. Yes people, we really can love ourself too much. Think abut it.

So if we would judge God, we would have to say he is the lover and defender of all those who really care about others, even when it cost them a personal price. And he is the judge and enemy of all those who exalt themselves at the expense of others. We see it over and over again in scripture, even in the Old Testament.

In Revelation, when the martyrs are under the altar crying out to God, how long will you wait before you avenge our blood? These people were slain because they followed a lamb! What kind of evil is this?! But the cup of the dragon was not yet quite full. The day came when it was, and their own evil cup began pouring out on them, whereas the saints drank of the good wine, from the cup filled by their Lord as they followed the Lamb in his service.

Here’s an ending thought. The Pharisees asked Jesus: “Then why did Moses say in the law that a man could give his wife a written notice of divorce and send her away?” Jesus replied, “Moses permitted divorce only as a concession to your hard hearts, but it was not what God had originally intended.” (Matt. 19:7-8)

I wonder how much of what we see in the Old Testament is actually because of OUR HARD HEARTS, not God’s? Did God really want a time span, or learning curve, of “AN EYE FOR AN EYE”? Or was it us? Jesus ate at the tables of sinners, and got in trouble at every temple. Judge not, lest ye be judged. Would you dare to judge God? We might be surprised to find out how much of our accusations against God is really because of a huge, I mean gigantic, beam in our own eye! Not to mention the condition of our heart. Do you think it might be possible, as the monsters we are, and the self-destructive nature we have, that it might actually be impossible for us to accurately judge the God of love? Are we really in any position to judge what pure love is? Or the rights of the one who created us?

I suspect if we take the Beatitudes and look at their exact opposites we will find what all the cups of wrath are being filled with. After all this, what I see is, God is the friend of the humble, and the enemy of the proud. But evil is really its own worse enemy, and everything that seems to poor out on them really comes from their own gross darkness. In heaven, there will finally be no monsters to be feared. God will be there. He will fill the place. But he is not the monster. And by his great love and grace, no longer are we.

“Is God the Monster?” Part II

20171227_125924 Is God the monster, or are we the monster? Jesus said to his disciples: “Look, I am sending you out as sheep among wolves.”

Please allow me to translate what Jesus just said here, “Look, I am sending you, my children, out into a world of monsters. Be careful, they will eat you alive. You are sheep, but they are wolves.” (Be careful of what goes bump in the night.)

We spoke of the Garden of Eden and how there was a monster in the garden, and the monster was not God. But man chose the monster over God, he embraced his destroyer over his Creator. And now we have this self-destructive nature within us.

We have also spoke of how Jesus shifted things from the “Temple” to “His Table”, a Table of Fellowship through His shed blood, the Lord’s Supper, but do you remember there was also a monster at that table? Jesus was not unaware of the monster sitting at the table. In Matthew 26:21, we read this: “While they were eating, he said, ‘I tell you the truth, one of you will betray me.”

(verse 22) “Greatly distressed, each one asked in turn, “Am I the one, Lord?”

I find it very interesting that each disciple realized their own potential to be the monster. That under the right circumstances, the sin nature in them might take over. “Am I the one, Lord?” Each of these in all sincerity asked honestly. But the real monster knew he was the one! And yet, still asked the question as if he did not know! This is the evil in the world God will judge! How do you plan a good man’s murder and act as if you are innocent? Who are these people? (Except for the grace of God, there go I.)

(Verse 25) “Judas, the one who would betray him, also asked, ‘Rabbi, am I the one?’ “

(Verse 26) “And Jesus told him, ‘You have said it.’ “

This question of who is the monster has been taking me some very interesting places. I have found myself waking in the morning, and laying in bed for an hour pondering how to show in scripture why there is a place called hell, and the evil it is created for is so monstrous, that God is totally just in his judgement. It was not those asking sincerely that day, admitting there own human frailty, that Jesus pointed out as the monster. It was the one trying to hide it, trying to deceive and still carry out his plan to murder an innocent man for 30 pieces of silver. And of that man, Jesus said it would have been better for him had he never been born!

Who is this monster known as Satan, the devil, the serpent, so full of death, hate, and destruction, and yet we would love him? We would love darkness in which we cannot even see, and we stumble over things, even walking to our own death, over a world of light in which all can be seen clearly? We are all infected with this self-destructive virus and have become spiritual paupers! (First Beatitude.) But are we one who recognizes our own condition, or are we one who continues to embrace our sickness? Are we one who comes to God asking him to save us from our own evil heart, or are we full of darkness, self-righteous, like the Pharisees?

I think the last two chapters of Revelation sheds a great deal of light on this subject, but before we go to the end of the book, lets look at the beginning again. God creates a beautiful garden and gives it to Adam and Eve as a free gift! And then he warns Adam, you can enjoy all this garden, and have dominion over it, but only do not eat of that one tree. For if you do, there is a monster called death. God is always aware of the monsters. He points them out to us, just like he pointed out Judas, but do we listen?

The monster attacks Adam and Eve and all mankind suffers a great loss. But notice the difference between Adam and Eve, and the future actions of their son, Cain. We know Adam and Eve were ashamed, and sorry for what they had done. They also submitted to God’s judgement that came upon them. They may not have liked it, but they knew they were guilty, and they fessed up to it, even if they did try to pass the buck so to speak, still…in the end they fessed up.

However, fast forward a couple decades or so later, a son of Adam and Eve, CAIN, commits the first murder! The taking of a life! His own brother! Not only is it premeditated, but he never shows any remorse over his actions! He only shows regret for getting caught! Who are these people?! Is CAIN the father of them? Are they nothing but wolves? They have no heart of flesh and blood, but only of stone?

Assuming you know the basic story of Cain, and how he wanted to present his own works to God, (vegetables), and did not want to consider God’s reasons of why that was not acceptable. God makes this offer to him: “Why are you so angry?” the Lord asked Cain. “Why do you look so dejected? You will be accepted if you do what is right. But if you refuse to do what is right, then watch out! Sin is crouching at the door, eager to control you. But you must subdue it and be its master.” (Gen. 4:6-7)

Notice God offers Cain the path of acceptance, just like the father offered to the older brother, in the story of the Prodigal Son, he begged (it says), for the older brother to come in and join the celebration, but he did not! (I wonder if he later murdered his younger brother? Hhmmm.)

Notice the description of sin: crouching at the door, eager to control you. It sounds like a ravenous beast ready to devour Cain, and Cain chose the beast! He literally invites his brother out into the fields, knowing full well his plan is to murder him! He commits the murder, hides the body, and then tries to avoid admitting to the crime when God shows up! (Adam and Eve did not deny their actions.)

Once God passes judgement on Cain, “Cain replied to the Lord, ‘My punishment is too great for me to bear!” (Notice who he is still thinking about? Himself!) You have made me homeless, and anyone who finds me will kill me! (My paraphrase.) (Oh, you mean they will try to do to you what you intentionally did to your brother?) Who are these monsters whose mind works in these ways?! What kind of evil is this?

These are the people who need to fear God, for there is a real hell waiting for them, and with great regret (Ezek. 33:11), God will cast them there! But surely you are not such a person as this? (I hope.) I mean, if you are, then this is real darkness, and you are a monster! There are no plans for you in God’s future, except a place called hell. If God were such a monster, he would cast himself there too. (I sincerely believe this.) But God is not the monster. Satan is, and all those who love his ways.

Now we could speak of the condition of mankind when God flooded the earth, stating that a fresh start was the only hope. We could look at Esau, or possibly Sodom and Gomorrah, and we might eventually, but I mentioned the last two chapters of Revelation. I really like the light these two chapters shine on this subject. That is where we will take up in Part III. I hope you’re enjoying this.
