Welcome to Wakanda, a church different. Is the name of our church Wakanda? No. Are we part of the Black Panther movie? No. It’s simply an analogy, because we’re doing church different, and the church normal looks at us thinking we’re a 3rd world country, or exiles, and don’t see us having anything to offer, anything even beginning to compare to what they offer, when in actuality, our “Fellowship” (we don’t call it church), may be closer to the original than theirs. Such as, we don’t worship the “sun god” at our fellowship, and what has become normal in America, does!
The above picture is a baptism about to happen. We left Indiana and traveled all the way to Georgia to accomplish this baptism of our oldest grandson. Our “Fellowship” is very fluid like that. The eagle loves to soar. The Wind carries us many places. Don’t put God in a box. He simply won’t fit. If your god fits in some man-made box, then he’s not really God! Please check carefully!
I never worry about defending our Fellowship. I simply share what we do. Most of what we do is very different than the modern church system. I leave people to judge for themselves the things I teach and say. If you want to know more about how the modern church is practicing the Rome worship of their sun god, and what the real God thinks of that as the real God made plain in Ezekiel 8, then simply go to my July 18 article: “A False Matrix”, and begin learning the details.
And remember, the book of Revelation reveals both Rome and Babylon are very active in our last days! This should be a great concern to every true child of God. Only those not truly a child of God would not be concerned. Show your concern! Your actions are more true than your words. Open your eyes and study! Show yourself approved! Not a slothful and lazy servant ready to be cast out!
Okay, here is some things we do at “FWP”. We don’t worry about stage lights and a performance, nor the high cost and debt going with most places of that sort. We don’t have “money pressures”. As the leader, I’m not seeking a paycheck. I’m not on a payroll. Occasionally someone makes a free will offering towards something and we gladly accept that. We expect Christians to be led of the Spirit in what they do with their money. But as a minister of the Lord, I don’t want any money pressures influencing my spiritual judgement. The more money a ministry needs to maintain itself, the more likely they are in bondage to a worldly material. How much money did Jesus need? What did his ministry cost?
We don’t have “name tag machines” as our second greeters. You will also be likely greeted personally by me. True discipleship requires personal time. Jesus put an emphasis on discipleship, not how many names are on your membership roll. Oh, we don’t have one of those either. God keeps track of the membership in his books. I don’t have to worry with such things.
Our emphasis is family and fellowship. Fellowship is a big test of who is with us, or not. If someone constantly pushes other people’s buttons, causing strife in the family, then that person is invited to leave and only come back if they have a change of heart. We’ve had to let one go already. It’s amazing how true fellowship quickly weeds the true from the false. But maybe they just need to be somewhere else? If that is the case, then I want them where they can grow best. That’s my main concern; not some numbers on a board.
The early church did not worship the sun god or Tamuz, as said before. Your pastor would need to teach on the early church fathers and early church to understand. We do study the early writings of those trained by the Apostles and established as bishops of those original churches. I suspect our modern pastors fear these subjects and deliberately mislead us. Why would the modern church want to be ignorant of its roots? It makes no sense to me. I can only surmise there is a darkness at work in this, but only you can search this yourself.
Easter and Christmas are not really holy days for us. A Christian form of the Passover is the only holiday I see the Apostles promoting in my Bible. You can have Santa and the easter bunny at your home if you like, but we don’t promote them in our fellowship. Also, we keep the emphasis of the Lord’s Supper on his “death” more than “resurrection”, as he instructed. This proper emphasis is one of the great loses of our modern church system. We also keep emphasis on our priesthood, not the kingship we will enjoy in heaven some day, that’s for later. The Apostle Paul accused one church of beginning to “reign” without him! Can you believe it? This false king theology has led many down this prideful path in our modern day.
The Lord’s Passover Meal is a master key, and meant to be the template for what is Christianity and Church. But we have perverted our practice of this holy day God set way back in the Exodus! I believe our fellowship has a more true practice of church than most of those calling themselves churches these days. We offer our help in these articles in this blog site, for whosoever will, but who are we to presume such things? (The modern church asks as looking down the nose. Ezek. 11.)
We believe in SIMPLICITY, and the simplicity of Christ. We have gone back to the truth of the early church as best we can, without the help of the modern church. We are still searching, praying and learning. What is a student who does not shine brighter each day, even unto the end?
We do church different here. Jesus said his “yoke” was easy and his “burden” light. He said we are like the wind, flowing where God takes us, in a freedom of Spirit, liberty, and revelation. Free to be me in Christ. The person God created me to be, as I grow away from what the world has offered me. There is no performance. There is simply loving “upward” FIRST, and “outward” ALSO.
When did Jesus have church? All the time. Where did Jesus have church? Everywhere he went. This is true church. We do not attend church, we live it, 24/7. We ARE the church. And we are meant to be a family. God’s family.
So God sent my wife and I south this week, and we had church in Georgia. Grandpa shared scriptures and baptized his oldest grandson, while my wife and second born son bore witness on the bank. It was a gorgeous day! The sun was bright! But there was no sun worship. we are sun worship free! (I hope. May the holy Spirit reveal if this is not so!)
On way home we stopped at Pigeon Forge to buy a Samurai Sword for my grandson, to mark his day of baptism. He knows what Grandpa means when he speaks of being “Samurai for Christ” and the Sword of the Spirit, God’s holy Word. This was part of church for us this week. A lady who worked at the store, “Smokey Mountain Knife Works”, (a favorite place of mine), this lady came out of the store and gave my grandson a short lesson in use of Samurai sword. I never saw this happen before, but it happened for him. She had actually taken lessons and gave him a quick teaching in some basics. God so blessed our trip! This was awesome!
(Someone had skinned and cooked an alligator at this site. I was told there were no alligators actually in this pond. The water was crystal clear, and we even swam in it. It could not have been a more perfect day.)
(I never told my grandson he would get a Samurai sword when he got saved. Of course I would not want him to be influenced by such a thing. He had no idea my wife and I were going to do this. You can imagine his excitement when we told him.)
Now we are back from Georgia and a new phase of the Teepee begins. I expect to move into it in 70 days. I have 70 days left to get that area ready. My wife will be doing some traveling for a while at that time, a few missions God has for her. So this will be my home away from home, but not hers, (maybe some day), if I ever get it to her standard. (LOL.)
God is good and God is great. I so enjoy this different way of doing church. The freedom, relationship, Presence, variety, of walking with the Holy Spirit is such a delight. I was happy when they said unto me let us go unto the House of the Lord! SOAR MORE and FLAP LESS! That is our message at FWP, to walk with our Lord in white, to be a Godwalker, even as Enoch was, and he was taken!
