20180728_145905 So… II Peter 2:7 declares that Lot was a righteous man in spite of his soul being tormented every day by what he saw and heard as he lived just outside of Sodom, and as he was involved with that predator city full of predator people. What drew Lot to live in such an area? Was it the money?

I’ve pondered so many times why his wife was turned into a pillar of salt, of all things? I thought salt was a good thing, symbolically speaking. Are we not called to be the salt of the earth? And so when his wife looks back at Sodom being judged, which she was strictly told not to do, why did she turn into a pillar of salt? Why not pig dung, or catch fire or something? What is the Bible trying to tell us?

“But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.” (Gen. 19:26)

I welcome any theories on this, but the best I’ve come up with is that salt was also a form of money in those days. It had value. In desert areas where you sweat a lot, it could be used to pay for other things. Also where the phrase, “Are you worth your salt?” came from.

So she just can’t help herself. In spite of the warning, she looks back at everything she is losing. All her earthly stuff. And whamo! She turned into a statue depicting a form of money. Jesus warns us also; when speaking of the last days, judgement, and possibly rapture, he tells us to “Remember Lot’s wife!” (Luke 17:32)

As an American, how hard is it going to be for me not to look back at my earthly goods with some kind of longing? I think that was the real problem with her looking back. She was too attached to her material things. Are my affections set on things above?

In the account of Lot’s rescue by the two angels, which is in detail in Genesis 19, the word angel is used 7 times! That’s kind of a lot. Angels were heavily involved in the rescue of Lot, his wife, and two daughters. Those angels were likely there because of the interceding of Lot’s Uncle Abraham. I want to look closer at angel involvement in the last days in Part 3, but for this article, I want to consider something else. I want to examine where the angels told Lot and his family to flee. They told them to escape to the mountains! But Lot said that was too hard. They would die there. And he begged for another place.

Gen. 19:17> “When they were safely out of the city, one of the angels ordered, ‘Run for your lives! And don’t look back or stop anywhere in the valley! Escape to the mountains or you will be swept away!”

(VRS 18) “Oh my Lord!”

Lot begins begging to be allowed to go to a small town called Zoar. He cries that they will die in the mountains, and the angel grants his request. But what does the mountains represent? A separation to our Lord, the high places, spirit life, the eagle, all the good things of God, the very life we are supposed to desire as the born-again, but Lot dreaded the thought of it! And the angels suffered his pleading. They allowed him to settle. But what ended up happening? We find out in verse 30.

After everything that happened, something began happening in Lot. Another fear began to invade him. After seeing such destruction and judgement, then it says he began to fear the people in Zoar! And he ends up going to the mountains after all! And some bad things happened there too, but… a new fear overcame Lot’s fear of the mountains. He was terrified of them before. He begged not to go there. But ended up going of his own free will, because of the evil he now saw in other people. Hhmmm.

We should not fear the high places of living in Christ, separating ourself to the love of God. We have nothing to fear in those high places, and everything to be gained.

“Afterward Lot left Zoar because he was afraid of the people there, and he went to live in a cave in the mountains with his two daughters.”

Obviously Lot had some issues after what he had been through, but it was his own selfish heart that caused him to take the bountiful looking land while he left his uncle with the desert. Then he decides to mingle with Sodom, and for what? Money? Was it worth it? I think not. But how careful are we not to be doing the same thing? Could we end up with a destroyed family and so full of fear we run to a cave? Don’t be too quick to say that will never happen to me.

Why should we learn from Lot? I suspect we each have our own Sodom we’re contending with? Are we living too close? If so, why? What is the motivation? Are we calling on the angels God has made available to us? More on that in Part 3, but for now, we would do well to take heed of the words of our Lord. A very simple 3 word recommendation, or is it a command? “Remember Lot’s wife.” 3 simple words.

Yes…a Truth Storm. But how would we know if we have been innocently deceived into a lie?

We all have some flaws in our brain frame, after all, none are perfect…yet. But what if we had some major deceptions? I mean, like some MAKE GOD “VERY” ANGRY DECEPTIONS. And I’m talking about the “saved”, not just the lost. I’m talking about what we call Church and a Chapter 8 of Ezekiel. Would you want to know? Or remain in your false reality?

How would you feel about those who sold you such a lie? They lied to you and you even paid them hard earned money for the lie, for their unexpert advice, mentoring, guidance. How do you feel about buying a lie from those claiming truth? Does that seem just? Can you get your money back? Not likely.

I discovered a TV series called “Shield”. It’s more of that Marvel super hero stuff I happen to enjoy, but in Season 4, some of them are taken into a Virtual Reality and they do not know it. The False Reality is very real in every way! Some of their team goes into the Matrix to rescue, but the hardest thing is convincing them of the unreality of what they see as real! In their minds it is much more likely the person trying to warn them is crazy! Have we been duped into such a Matrix? Why do our Churches not teach us more concerning the early Church fathers, like Polycarp? (And others.) What are they afraid of? What are they hiding?

It was the same in the movie “Matrix”. Neo did not know that in reality, his body was in a tube with all kinds of tubes hooked up to it, and he was being used as a human battery to power an alien world! If some small inner voice had not convinced him to take a chance, he never would have known, and he would have died happy in that tube! However… if the truth would have been revealed to him after his death…and it was revealed how his life had been used and wasted…then a pain that could not be corrected would have fallen upon him. A pain made even worse, because now nothing could be done about it.

This Helmet of our spiritual Armor is called the “Helmet of Salvation”. It is a brain frame given by God about the truth of salvation. How it works and everything about it. But if your brain frame does not line up with the “Lord’s Supper”, the “Passover Meal” he had that last night with his Disciples, then something is false! There are clues all around you, but do you see them? Do you have the knowledge to understand? Or has that been kept from you?

There is a tangled web of deceit involved that has so side tracked the Church that we are actually in violation of Ezekiel Chapter 8 in major ways! The Church is repeating Jewish history! And even as God was with the “exiles”, and against “Jerusalem” in those days, it’s going to happen again! Even as prophesied in Revelation when Satan is given power over the Church for 3 and a half years! But God was with the exiles!

History repeating. That’s the theory I’m offering, but can I prove it? Can I prove it enough for you to see it too? For your mind to be opened? And is there something God would have us to do about it even if we do see it? Is there anything that can be done? Well… as crazy as this sounds…you can choose to be one of the “exiles” instead of those still residing in Jerusalem. Who would have thought God would allow such a thing? And yet that is exactly what was happening in the day of Ezekiel, and is very likely repeating in the Church today.

If we had leaders who taught us more about what happened in the early Church, the battle that was fought and lost as the Church began going down the Catholic fork in the road, then we would know what’s happening. But our poor leaders “have not”, and so we “do not” know.

When the Protestants rebelled against the “Roman” Catholic Church, did we go back to that fork in the road and make it right? NO, we did not. And that omission is now catching up with us. Admittedly, the wheels of God’s judgement turns very slow, because he is so full of love and grace, but judgement does finally begin to spill over from a very full cup of sin!

The Lord’s Table, his Last Supper, is meant to be a “key”, a “template”, a “master code breaker” to everything “Salvation” really is! That Last Supper is the Passover Meal, therefore it is a master key also! This is why Polycarp, disciple of John, fought so hard to prevent the changes Rome was trying to make! It changed more than just a “technicality”! It has changed the whole picture of Salvation! That Helmet on our head is flawed! It’s a damaged brain frame! And it needs to be redeemed/corrected before the Bridegroom comes and half the virgins are left!

Five of the ten virgins are left behind. Nothing is going to change that. But do you want to be part of those five? That is what we are talking about here, which group we end up in.

From personal experience I know what it is like to come out of the Modern American Church (MAC), and become the “Exiled”. That is exactly what it feels like and how they look at you. But there is even more! In our self-centered, self-serving, ego driven, King Theology system, those still in Jerusalem do not truly mourn your absence, (maybe a few do, but most), have their eyes on the inheritance they believe you left behind! This prosperity driven christian cannot help themself! The brain frame they have is all about being the head and not the tail, the king and not the servant! This is the Matrix they live in! They do not see the error in their reality and do not even realize the actuality of their thought processes!

EZEKIEL 11: starting verse 2, highlights only.> “The Spirit said to me, “Son of man, these are the men who are planning evil and giving wicked counsel in this city. They say to the people, ‘Is it not a good time to build houses? This city is like an iron pot. We are safe inside of it like meat in a pot.’ Therefore, son of man, prophecy against them loudly and clearly.”

(Verses 14, 15, &16a) > “Then this message came to me from the Lord: ‘Son of man, the people still left in Jerusalem are talking about you and your relatives and all the people of Israel who are in exile. They are saying, ‘Those people are far away from the Lord, so now he has given their land to us!’ Therefore, tell the exiles…”

And what did God say to the exiles? Hhmmm.

I believe very strongly in the word of this message! If you do too, then please tell your friends, notify your blogging people, I have only begun to scratch the surface of what is here. If you believe this to be a true word of our day, motivate others to read too. I suppose only a few out of the many will have eyes to see, but you never know who are the ones, and who are not. We do not judge. We scatter the seed in every direction, and some of it lands on good ground!

This message will continue Sunday. The questions must be answered. How are we in violation of the two most detestable things God lists in Ezekiel 8? And is it just a matter of a couple holidays, or has it affected the way we “Do Church” all year long? Is the way we’re “doing Church” making God angry and we do not even know? We are like the people in Jerusalem, hearing false prophets, thinking we are safe, thinking we are doing right and about to prosper even more, when in “REALITY”, God was very angry with them, God was leaving Jerusalem, he was about to bring tremendous judgement, a refining fire on them, and he was WITH the Exiles! This was the truth! This was the reality of the situation, and all those in the false Matrix of their minds could not see! How can we think we’re so close to God and actually be on the verge of his judgement? But we do.

In Jesus day, it was the “closed minded” who failed to see. Why would we close our mind to greater light? And if we already have the greater light, then what does greater light have to fear from lesser light? The true answer should be: NOTHING.

If you believe this might be a true word from God, then please warn all those you can of what is coming. I do not know how much more plain I can be with this request. How much time we have I cannot say. (God is so merciful.) I’ve done a lot of hard work to make this site a place “easy” to consider if we might be reliving Ezekiel 8, and there is much more to come. Billy Graham / Methuselah?

20170430_151937 This may sound weird, and please allow me to explain what I mean by this, but I have been watching for the passing of Billy Graham for years. It did not surprise me when he lived to be so old, because I “suspect” Reverend Graham may have been a “marker” with God. Has there ever been a more well-known, or stronger preacher of GRACE, than Billy Graham? The GRACE preacher. And what does this mean?

Well…remember how we get a little mystical here…I can only make possible suggestions…you must decide if it has any value, or not. But I see a world racing towards the book of Revelation, just like mankind was in the days of Noah. But God had a marker in that day. His name was Methuselah. He is the oldest living man we have record of, living to be 969! Consider how spiritually interesting those numbers are. Methuselah’s son, Lemech (father of Noah), lived to be 777! Another set of very interesting numbers. And his grandpa, Grandpa Enoch, never died! But was translated 300 years after the birth of his son, Methuselah. More interesting numbers. Then Noah goes into the ark at age 600! (Interesting.) And if you calculate all these numbers you will find that in the same year Methuselah died, the great flood came!

From the date of Methuselah’s birth a clock of judgement began ticking, but God, showing his great mercy and long-suffering for sinful man, extended Methuselah’s life to be the longest of anyone known! And even though Billy Graham lived to be very old against all the odds, and he died at 99, another interesting number, those are not the reasons I have looked at him as a possible marker, although they do add evidence. We have a lot to consider here, and I will try to be as concise and simple as possible.

In Noah’s case, it all started with his great grand daddy Enoch. This guy was the 7th generation from Adam! (Another special number.) And he was so special, it says he walked with God, and pleased God! So much so that “God took him”! He was translated!But before God took him, he had a son named Methuselah, and if you study the name deep enough, you will find meanings of “man”, “mature man”, “extension of”, and “coming judgement”, as in a dart or missile!

I was curious one day and began calculating all the very specific dates (ages) given from Enoch to Noah concerning birth of children and ages of death. It was then I discovered that the flood was unleashed the very year this very long-lived person, Methuselah died! In other words, and I assume no one knew this, but every year Methuselah lived was another year the judgement did NOT come. And in this I saw a tremendous testimony of God’s great mercy and how he does not want to pour out judgement, but eventually the wickedness reaches such a level that there is no other choice.

As you can see, Noah was of a very special linage. It wasn’t just Noah. But how does this relate to Billy Graham? It’s not his great age, or that his number is 99 and Methuselah was 969, or that he fell just short of 100, like Methuselah fell short of 1000. (I had suspected he would not see 100, for this very reason.)

It’s because of what his whole life stood for. God’s GRACE! And if there is to be a judgement, which we know Revelation predicts eventually, and if God would choose to have a “marker”, like he did “in the days of Noah”, then what more likely person than the preacher of GRACE, Billy Graham? What more likely person, in all of the earth, who spoke to so many leaders of the whole earth, was so well respected, was so consistent in his message of God’s love and grace, and whose age and numbers also seem to be “interesting”?

Now I add to this what I see as a civil war going on in the churches, which many do not even seem to be aware of, but a silent and mostly respectable war going on between the “Government Pleasing” churches and the “God Pleasing” churches. (Enoch pleased God?) Hhmmm. (And was raptured?) Hhhhhmmmmmmm.

Enough said on that, but I will add yet one more possibility. Again, only food for spiritual thought. You decide. Our President is known for the “Art of the Deal”, and his abilities in this area. And with the move he made concerning the capitol of Jerusalem, I see it as a move that had to be made if there will ever be the peace treaty there. At such a time as all this, am I saying Trump is the antichrist? NO, I AM NOT. I think before his 4-8 years are over, he could be the beginning of the white horse going forth. Is that the same person as the antichrist? I don’t know, but my theory is, if Billy Graham has been a marker from God, then God just took that marker away. His prayers are no longer rising up from the earth. Whatever the power of his prayers may have been, they are in heaven now, but they are not here.

The Ten Virgins heard a cry and woke from their slumber. They discovered their lamps had gone out! They begin to trim their wicks. I believe a trimming is going on even now. However, only five were actually able to light those wicks! So the five foolish go to the five wise asking for charity, give us of your extra oil, and the five wise say no! A division! A civil war? Hhmmm.

Billy Graham is now face to face with our Lord. I envy him. But he ran his race and completed it. Will we be able to say the same? Perhaps if we are wise, it’s not too late? Let a fire of God light in us before it is too late. The door of the ark closed, the five foolish were left behind, but in every case, the “faithful” made it. Jesus said, “Remember Lot’s wife.” Just three little words. Another special number. SELAH.
