I’ve been declaring this for weeks, the escalation of emotion, Jonah being thrown overboard into the sea of a perfect storm, the Democrat game plan, and yes, they are not innocent, but well aware of the fire they are intentionally setting! And now we have it in writing! The future laid out for us! And a 21 Day countdown to another escalation! White House Siege! Googling that should bring it up.

Of course none of the Democrat names are on the war plans. And it wouldn’t matter if they were. Things have been proven before, but they are above the law. I have seen this coming for months, but I am a watcher, only the blind or the guilty could deny it now.

Surely most Americans will not vote for the Party promoting violence to win. So Trump wins again. Then what? He cheated! They already are saying he cannot legally win! How can they know such a thing? And then our country explodes! Will Jonah be thrown overboard into the raging sea? What will it take to get control? Will we see martial law? Of course we will. Do we not see the hand writing on the wall?

Are you watching it build? Do you see this growing wave of hate, lies, and emotion? Are you prepared to soar above, or will you be caught in the tsunami? Will you be a part of it? In their eyes President Trump must not win at any cost, so if he wins, then the country must be so devastated that he will spend the next 4 years just trying to repair all the damage. There is also something said about them ensuring a peaceful transition of power. What? The only transition of power they want is into their hands, and none of it has been peaceful so far! President Trump has been under attack from day one! And they are just waiting for Conservatives to retaliate. They know many people are going to be hurt and suffer in this fire they build, and yet they build it anyway?

Again, these groups claim they only intend peaceful protest, and yet somehow there has been much violence. These people know it will only take one little spark to ignite the explosion. I expect if something does not happen to cause it naturally, then they are prepared to light the flame intentionally. And if Trump wins, that is all the spark they need. But what if the Republicans did the same? What if we were threatening violence if Biden wins? How is it that one party is prone to this kind of behavior and there is no vast exodus from their ranks!? No being held to accountable? Yes…they are very sly with their words…careful to send out sparks…but never be the actual fire themself. They are so smart. They are so innocent. But truth always eventually wins. If not in this life, then the next. In the meantime, we suffer.

This must be more of the “good trouble” they keep promoting. “Sweet kind of disobedience”? But what is God telling you to do in this perfect storm, child of God? Do we not have a responsibility in all this? Abortion is still a horrible crime against humanity, and Planned Parenthood continues with blatant disregard to the truth. Most scientific biologist will tell you that life begins at conception! How ungodly, as a nation, we have become!

As followers of Christ what does all this mean for us? Does God still have a mission? As in the days of Noah, more and more violence breaking forth, the earth filled with violence! Again, the hand writing is on the wall! Can we be the peacemakers in such a great fire? But we are the HATERS! That is the lie they believe! Are you a HATER? Is it not so plain how the enemy has worked in all this? We’re not the violent! How are we the HATERS?

Jonathon Cahn has already had a huge prayer and repentance rally planned for D.C. area on September 26th. This has been planned for months! The White House Siege protest begins on September 17th. Both these groups will be in the same area, and how will this be portrayed by media?

The darkness grows…the darkness comes. There are those setting the flames for violence to fill our streets and martial law required! Surely you see it now! They claim Trump won illegally, and yet they are the ones actually trying to win illegally by threat of violence, and in plain sight for all to see! How has America become this? How has a party become this? How is a party able to get away with this? Our right to vote the way we want is under threat of “violence” by one party and one party alone!

I am a watcher and I will continue writing what I see, unless they shut me down, which wouldn’t surprise me a bit. Hopefully I’m too small for them to notice. But here again, one party wants to silence free speech! How can anyone not see this?

Our country is already on fire. The kindling is already set and burning. We have a date with destiny already planned. The perfect storm increases in its hate and Jonah is the target. The last word of the Old Testament is “curse”, and we are in it, if a revival does not sweep this nation and turn the hearts of people back towards God, and one another. What is the price we’re going to have to pay, like Jonah, before such a revival can happen?

75364021-1200px I keep hearing Politicians talking about this election is for nothing less than the “heart and soul” of this nation. To that I ask what do Politicians know about the “soul”? This only confirms to me what we have said, the church has lost her way, and now the soul is in the hands of politics? The Ark has been captured. Eli and his wicked sons have cost us dearly. The Philistines have ransacked us! That which is the church’s territory is in the hands of the heathens! It reminds me of Constantine influencing the church of 300 A.D. Will we down the road, see the dark place that road led before?

Most Politicians I’ve seen over the years will speak any lie you want to hear if it gets them elected. They flip flop. The very person they were exposing as so vile a few days ago, will suddenly become best friends and endorsing them. Where is honor, integrity, and truth? They show little knowledge of true morality. They endorse the murder of pre-born babies. They live in wealth and luxury. They love money and power. They might be denied communion by their Priest. They will use whatever is available to sabotage a nation’s well-being for their own agenda. They hurt the very people they claim to defend. They allow lawlessness if it promotes their agenda, and again, many innocent people are hurt, including the businesses of hard working people. How long should I make this list? These are the people fighting for our soul? And the church? They seem to have embraced politics as the answer. Have they embraced Constantine? And do we have a choice at this point? Maybe not. Just like Jonah, he really had very little choice in the storm.

Here’s a wake-up call, people. Here’s a news flash! Politics don’t save a soul! We are well into uncharted waters that will surely create a huge hurricane storm of Jonah proportions before this is over. And then, perhaps a Jonah will rise out of the belly of the whale who preaches a true message, as he is forced to sit in the hot sun, miserable. Not a pretty picture.

Now we have a scandal with Jerry Falwell Jr.. What has happened to Christianity in America? Jesus said if we truly followed him, we would be hated and persecuted. However, was that hate supposed to be derived from politics, because the church became a political entity? Or was it other things, like saving souls and being anti-worldly, anti-materialistc, and pro- God? Pro- Word of God? We have succeeded in being hated, but I don’t think it is for the same reasons Jesus was.

I believe in the flux of all this change is the chance to make a different choice than Jonah made. Those who truly hear the voice of God see opportunity. The fields are white unto harvest! However, King Saul must be recognized as a king having no clothes. The Anointing has left him and he is tormented of demons. God is in the caves with David. God is alive and well, and so is the new wine rising for such a time as is coming. We will know more after we see what happens in this election, sad to say. We have allowed everything to become about this election. And when it happens I believe we will see great chaos like we’ve never seen before. And in such times as these a new wine should flow, but are we such a wine skin?

Now is the time to hear God and catch the wave. Trump moved the American Embassy to Jerusalem. He took the stand every President before him coward away from. Now we see more movement towards peace in that area. Trump is involved, “The Art of the Deal”. That is one of his claims to fame. And what does it all mean? New times are coming! End Times are coming! But that 7 year period could still be many years away. Much could still happen if David succeeds in bringing the Ark back into Jerusalem, even as Trump moved an embassy! But that’s church territory! Not politicians!

Now is not the time to be more worldly, more materialistic. Now is the time to live in the high places of God’s Spirit. Be the Skypeople we claim to be. Learn what it means to live by our wings, our spirit man, rather than the dirt of our flesh. Again, Jesus said we would be hated, but for what reasons? Check the Beatitudes. Does God expect us to vote as godly as possible? Surely he does. But can’t we do that without becoming a political platform?

Many times what looks good at the time also conflicts with what Jesus actually said and did. In those times true wisdom stays in faith in Jesus. We follow him. We mount up with the wings of the eagle. We do what Jesus did even in spite of how it may look to our human reasoning. And when we don’t… that 20/20 hindsight eventually confirms the error of our way. As for me and my house, we will follow the Lord and the example he set for us. Constantine led to a dark place before, and will do so again. Jesus is always the true light!

Sail on, brothers and sisters. Sail a sacred ship.

Is there still an American dream? How have we gotten to such a place, that a significant number of our people no longer see America as the Land of Opportunity? They burn our Flag and Bibles. They add a pig to the mix to show their disgust. They set fire to our ancient foundations, those that have been proven by time, history, facts, stats, and God’s Word…but let it burn! Who are these people? Is this the definition of a Progressive?

I must admit, a lot of greedy and materialistic people live in America. For those who love money, the Capitalistic system is ideal. This new generation loves nature, and wants to leave a “small footprint” as they say. In this I agree with them. I am very much of this same nature. Jesus lived a life of the small footprint. I follow Christ, but the modern church seems to be lovers of material and money just like the world, and so…this new generation has no respect for them. Can you blame them?

I see it now. This hate and disgust is rooted in a righteous cause. If the church has become like the world, if there is no bright city upon a hill to inspire a righteous standard, then violence grows in many forms. Disgust grows in many forms.

Jesus warned against materialism and called us to be servants, but we would be kings. Kings do not desire a small footprint. Some of these preachers even have personal jets and live in mansions. Wow…Jesus rode a donkey. How is it a large portion of the American church fails to understand this? They cling to the Old Testament and reject the New. They desire New Testament grace, but refuse taking up their own cross!

Once upon a time, the American dream was mainly about Freedom, but as the church became more worldly, so has the world. Sounds odd, does it not? More and more the American dream became about money, and the Capitalistic system became the perfect vehicle for power and greed. It’s hard to reason with people who feel they have a righteous cause, even though they be not righteous themselves, nor in their methods.

Jesus warned us about greed and the love of money. He gave us an example of keeping things simple. I’m not a Progressive, but I left the modern church system for many of the same reasons Progressives now burn the American Flag and Bibles. I see no hope for America, unless the church gets back to what Jesus actually did and taught.

More greed and love of money will fill this land, and it makes some of us sick to our stomach to the point of disgust! God’s Word says a form of Elijah would return in the last days. Elijah had no interest in material things. He left a very small footprint. The Old Testament closed with this promise of a return of Elijah, and then came many years of silence… until John the Baptist…of the spirit of Elijah…living in the desert and leaving a small footprint…but also challenging the religious leaders and government of his time!

“Look, I am sending you the prophet Elijah before the great and dreadful day of the Lord arrives. His preaching will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers. Otherwise I will come and strike the land with a curse.” (Malachi 4: 5-6)

Is that a threat? Is God threatening us? Was it not Elijah who prayed for a curse upon the land in his time, and God granted it? Did not Elijah pray for no rain? Did he not pray for drought, leading to famine, no prosperity, and a curse? What would prosperity preachers say of this? Is not Elijah speaking to us again?

I think Micro church is also a form of getting back to the “small footprint” our Lord exemplified himself. I believe God’s Anointing is upon this new wine of simple ways. And if the church fails to wake up and listen to the message of Elijah and John the Baptist, then the curse continues, and it grows, until the church finally humbles itself once again, seeks God’s face, repents of her sin, and prays, like Jonah finally prayed.

Jonah was the source of the storm. These pagan sailors did not want to throw him overboard. They fought hard to save him. But the storm continued growing until they had no other choice but throw the prophet, the man of God, overboard, into the raging sea.

It is my hope and prayer that the new wine, missional movement, Micro church, is a return of a form of Elijah, and the Anointing that was upon him, and even the greater Anointing of our Lord. I hope we take this message to heart.

“Of Doves & Demons” #1

Path Without End

 “…and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” (Isa. 10:27b)

How do you win a battle of Love verses Hate, words verses guns, or doves verses demons? It cannot be done through the flesh. This brings us back to where we need to be, people of God. Our carnal ways will be our demise. We must relearn what we have forgotten. We must get back to where Jesus started us. BACK TO THE HOLY SPIRIT, and something called the ANOINTING!

In this world bullets are feared, and rightly so; but in the bigger world, the world this little world was birthed from, the Anointing is feared most of all, because of the Anointed One, whose name is the name above all names…Jesus!

But some tried to use the name of Jesus, and the demons said…Peter and Paul we know, but who are you! (Then proceeded to beat them!) There must be the Anointing. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof will fail. Have we forgotten His way?

Here’s our situation… as followers of Christ we are called to Love in a world that Hates, and especially hates us! How do we survive? How can we win? It’s Mission Impossible!

UNLESS… there is a God in heaven who will once again grant his power on us as he did Samson back in the day! But who of us are ready to pay the price of the anointing? Who of us are so hungry for more of God that He is all we can think about, and we seek Him as in the Song of Songs?

The HATE is evident to see, that is the problem, but now we need the solution to the problem. This new series “Of Doves & Demons” I am hoping will run for awhile. I think God has much to say and we have much to relearn. We have much to regain of what we have lost, as David bringing the Ark of the Covenant back into Jerusalem.

In just this past month, our little Fellowship that we like to call: “CHURCH EVERYWHERE”, has seen 2 unexplainable powerful touches of God upon a few people. I have longed for such things but never seen it before on this level! This is new for me! It was literally the power of a sovereign God touching hearts in a way beyond us! I honestly believe it was supernatural in nature, and the only thing different I have done is seek God specifically for His “Anointing”.

I have studied and sought. I am still studying and seeking and I must begin sharing thoughts as God inspires.

It is easy to see the strategy of the enemy> HATE. Steal, kill, and destroy! He’s actually not very creative. Powerful people are using their tongues to set on fire the course of nature. It is set on fire of hell! But they have a strange fire, God’s Word speaks of it, and we have a holy fire. Yes, the Church must get back to fighting strange fire with holy fire! This is the Anointing, and it is the supernatural power of God.

There is so much to say on this. It comes at a cost, priest of the Most-High God. Are we ready to perform the sacrifices we are called to perform? If we are, then just like Elijah, there will be fire from heaven! And the priest of Baal will fall!

“I’m confused” Mike Adams/Bernell Trammell

7326378758_6998e8784a_b I’m beginning to think if you want to be shot dead, its as simple as checking the right boxes. It would seem that Mike Adams and Bernell Trammell both checked all the right boxes, and suddenly turned up dead of gun shot wounds!

Now here is why I’m confused, I thought the “Left” was against gun ownership? I thought it was the “Right” who loved guns and acted like animals? But if that is so, then why is it people on the “Right” who speak up with “words”, are mysteriously suddenly turning up shot dead by guns? Are we shooting ourselves? Why is it if you happen to be Pro-Trump, or Conservative in general, and you happen to be Pro-Jesus, or Christian in general, and if you happen to have personal opinions differing from the current mob mentality, and if you speak out your opinions just like the “Left” do, then you have a higher than average chance of turning up dead from lead poisoning! Just how does that happen? The Left are good at denying, but they always fail to give the jury credit for being smart enough to see past their lies! They have such high opinions of themselves, and such low opinions of us.

It is true that Conservatives try to be law-abiding and live by a code of “Live and let Live”. We tend to have a sense of fare-play and everyone has the right to speak their minds. We will even defend your right to do so!  But there is also a reason why many people on the “Right” believe in gun ownership, and I’m afraid the “Higher-Ups” of the “Left” are pushing the buttons of the “Right” in the hopes of causing just exactly what they know will happen…a Blood-bath!!!

You see, those on the “Left” who live in their Ivory Towers will not be the ones in the crowd when the HATE suddenly explodes! They know if they can get their manipulated herd to cross the line far enough, then once they cross that line, a sense of honor on the Right will demand a just response! And once that happens the Ivory Tower people are ready to swoop in like righteous angels and demand all the changes they ever wanted!

How do the Left do this? We see the damaged buildings and the destruction and looting of private property and yet when President Trump sends in soldiers to protect private property, somehow he is the bad guy! Some how what we actually have video proof of does not prove anything! Their lies are believed more than our own eyes! And if the Right decide to meet fire with fire, even though we have shown great restraint while the Left runs amuck, it will somehow all be our fault! How are they able to do this!

How do they do this? Well remarkably enough, what we are getting shot for…WORDS! They do it with WORDS and violence. HATE! I use to work in the Indianapolis Airport. All day and night long CNN played on those TV screens. We had no choice! How is that? They still own the major media, the major news papers, and the Universities, as Mike Adams would attest to if he were still alive today! But his books, his words are still with us. There is so much HATE on the Left it constantly boils over the top of their ever burning kettle. (And yet we are the haters.)

How do we prevent the blood-bath the invisible enemy so much desires? And can you believe as surely as the sun rises in the east, the Left will deny they are pushing our buttons. With a straight face, while their finger is pressing the button over and over, they will look at you across those camera screens and say, “We’re not pushing any buttons. You are! You shouldn’t have guns! You are HATERS! And we’re going to shut down your business, your livelihood, your church, your speech, until we rule!”

People on the “Right”, I know this is hard, but there must be an answer. How do we avoid the blood-bath? It would seem people on the “Left” do own guns and they are actually using them, contrary to what they constantly preach. Their preachers and prophets are wolves in sheep clothing, manipulating their people. They preach “down with guns”, and yet their media is silent when they use them! CNN is silent on the darndest things! And very quick to draw if we make the slightest mistake! I don’t know how they live in their skins? Maybe that’s why snakes have to shed their skins so often.

I am beside myself. I see this coming and don’t know how it can be stopped, because people have a right to defend themself, and sooner or later they will, and that is exactly what they want…more chaos…more HATE…more pain on the “little people”, as long as it don’t get to them.

Wouldn’t it be nice to see those in the Ivory Towers of the “Left”, actually have to pay a price for the laws they have broken? You know the ones I speak of. This is why the “Left” is so emboldened, they know they usually get away with it. They are the elite! We are their peasants to manipulate. They will tell us what we need to know. They will determine what truth is.

Sorry to be so doom and gloom. But I see this train coming down the tracks. Louisville came so close to it just this past weekend! That was a potential powder keg ready to blow! The media and Democrat politicians need to stop protecting the VIOLENT protesters and law-breakers! They must face serious consequences! Or the people themselves will see to it they do! And that will not be good for anyone! Not even the Left! But you don’t care, do you. Destruction serves your ultimate goals.

I’m simply the average joe living in the trenches of what has become a war zone. I look around and try to make sense of what I see and hear. Maybe I’m all wrong. Maybe I don’t see what I think I see. Maybe Mike Adams decided to kill himself, and Bernell Trammell, a very nice man, should have minded his own business and kept his mouth shut. Maybe I shouldn’t be giving my opinion. Who am I? Can anyone verify what I think I see? Or am I the crazy one? They say the crazy don’t know they’re crazy. But I see an ocean wave rolling towards land, growing as it rolls, and its got the church’s name on it. Wake up people! We need God’s power again! People like Bernell are being murdered in the streets! A George Floyd causes all kinds of havoc upon the land! But a Bernell Trammell? Hardly a word. A Mike Adams? Guess he asked for it.

“Church on Fire”#2

Path Without End

warfare Are you personally powered up for what is coming? Jesus said you shall receive POWER after that the Holy Spirit comes upon you. Are we a Holy Spirit “prepper” as the 5 wise virgins were? How do we even do that? There is so much we have forgotten, but need to remember.

I am a “Prepper”, but not so much of material things, I have a little, but I’m mostly concerned about not running out of light! When your lamp goes out there is only darkness. And what is this darkness coming? What is our Father warning us to be powered up for?

Have you been reading the Tea Leaves? They are so easy to see and read because the enemy has become so emboldened! They don’t even hide it anymore!

“These things I command you, that ye love one another. If the world HATE you, ye know that it HATED me before it HATED you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own:…” (John 15: 17-)

They call it Hate Speech. By the new world definition we are the haters because we believe certain things are “sin”, certain things are wrong, things not approved by God, things ungodly, things judged by our Bible, and if we stand by God’s STANDARD, we are to be labeled HATERS and persecuted. Are you ready? There is no dodging this bullet short of betraying our Lord. Turning apostate!

“When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.” (Isa. 59:19b)

But our standard is HATE SPEECH! Do we still speak? Or go silent on certain topics? Betray the Word of God, Jesus. Do we still hold a standard? Not a standard chosen by us, or written by us, but by God! The world says God is the HATER! If He exist, they say, He is cruel, and a hater. All of this is His fault. The world refuses to own its own mess.

Notice the “Spirit of the Lord” is where the POWER is. Not us. God’s word confirms this over and over again. Have we forgotten? The Holy Spirit is the Power House in us! But what if we run dry?

What is this Anointing our Bible teaches, and our Lord spoke so highly of? King Saul was anointed to be king over Israel, but he kept disobeying God. Finally God sent Samuel with the Ram’s Horn to pour out the Anointing upon a shepherd boy named, David. When Samuel did this, the Anointing “left” King Saul and “came upon” David! David now walked in the power of God, but King Saul received a tormenting demonic spirit! We must talk about this. King Saul was then filled with jealousy over David, and wanted to kill him!

As God’s Anointing is lifting from those ministries who will “give into” the world, beware of the jealousy! But David now had the power. Or should I say the power rested upon him. Even while he was on the run, and Saul still upon the throne with a huge army at his beckon call, the real power was on David. But what know we of this POWER today? We need that power again! We need it yesterday!

The problem is this POWER of the Holy Spirit will cost you, and I’m not talking about just your money. Or some imaginary 10%. It will reach into EVERY part of your life. Jesus said we have a cross to bear, too. A cross is a cross! Again, I want to emphasize what the wise virgins told the foolish…

“Then all those virgins got up and put their own lamps in order. And the foolish said to the wise, GIVE us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out. But the wise replied, There will not be enough for us and for you; go instead to the dealers and BUY for yourselves. But while they were gone away to BUY, the bridegroom came, and those who were prepared (preppers) went in with him to the marriage feast; and the door was shut.” (Matt. 25: 7-10)

The foolish wanted the wise to just “GIVE” the oil to them. Easy-peasy. Instant mash potatoes. No sacrifice! No time! Instant crop in the field ready to harvest! How long did it take for Samson’s hair to grow back, and then to pray that prayer that God answered? The wise knew how foolish the request was, and gave them the only true answer.

Priest are called to love and sacrifice. Those of the King Theology, or King Saul Theology, do not like this message. I once knew a Pastor of a church of 800 who asked if he could preach my notes on the priesthood. Of course I said he could and he was doing a fine job of it, until… There were those getting upset and ready to leave. He then switched to preach the “King Theology” as a balance, they say. And now my life has taken a strange parallel to David’s, like an outcast. Good thing he didn’t have me preaching it. So out of respect to the Pastor, rather than cause division from within, I left with this message to share outside the four walls of those places.

God was about to judge King Saul’s kingdom. Everyone went through a lot during that time. David and his men suffered, even though he did no wrong! Jonathon and his armor bearer died in battle. King Saul died. But eventually, after much turmoil and suffering, Israel ended up with the best King they ever had. You could say that God had fixed things. The best things can be fixed with flawed man. It’s never perfect except in Christ.

So are we powered up like David was? Do we have a heart like David to sacrifice whatever it takes to bring the Ark of the Covenant, the power of God, back into the Church again? How do we BUY the oil that poured out on David’s head? What is currency with God? What is heaven’s currency? It is nothing less than true love! A marriage feast! Does your heart so long for more of Him that nothing else matters? Do we hunger and thirst for more of the Holy Spirit in us? He is that power.

In “Church on Fire” #1, we used scripture from Song of Solomon to relate this Holy Spirit love that is dripping with the Anointing of our Savior. Remember the door latch dripping with myrrh and spices? What of this oil Samuel poured out of the Ram’s Horn upon David? Exodus 30:22 speaks of the spices and oil mixed to create the holy Anointing oil. And Song of Solomon speaks of a garden “enclosed”, but praying for the wind to blow the spices forth out of the garden! Such a beautiful picture.

Jesus said, you shall receive power “after” that the Holy Spirit comes on you. And later, in chapter 4, the whole room was shaken and the Holy Spirit fell on them “again”! A second time! We can have more! The world drains us. Do we understand what the 5 wise virgins understood? Do we realize Jesus shared that parable, and others, for our learning? So we could live wise? But the young woman in the Song hesitated to leave her comfort zone, her bed, and the Anointing left! She went out into the night, the darkness, and was beaten by the watchmen! Are we prepared?

I see an ugly time coming. I see an Anointing shifting. I see great HATE and jealousy, but not by the ones who are commanded to love! This world is setting up its own judges of HATE. I also finished Brian Sander’s book: “UNDERGROUND CHURCH” I love the song they are singing. We are God’s songbirds in a world infested with snakes.

20200719_073715 What is your personal Hunger Games story? I believe most people have at least one. 

I have collected special movies that inspire me over the years, and I have often pondered if I had to choose just one movie series, which would it be? I do not find it an easy choice, but I finally decided it would absolutely have to be the “Hunger Games”.

When the first movie came out and I learned it was about people forced in an arena and must fight to the death till only one person is still alive, I really questioned if that was a movie I wanted to see? But I soon discovered there is so much more to these movies! They have very deep messages that particularly appeal to me, and with the newest addition to the series, “The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes”, the message of the Mockingjay becomes even deeper, and more complete.

I’m only 63 pages into the book, so don’t worry, I don’t plan on any spoilers here, other than the story is AWESOME so far! I’m completely hooked! But as we are in the midst of a SEA CHANGE on planet earth, and also in my own path concerning ministry, I want to start using “The Hunger Games” as an analogy at this site.

I love good analogies. As you know, one of my favorites as a follower of Christ is to live my life like a sailboat with only my sail to catch the wind of heaven and power my vessel. I call this being a Soul Sailor, and several past articles have pertained to being this Soul Sailor.

But as to The Hunger Games, for me, it is all about what it takes for a vision to catch fire and become an inspiration to others. To cause a real movement there has to be at least one main leader who becomes the Lightning Rod for that vision. There will be other leaders too, who probably have smaller platforms, all working together to play their part in the big wave of the movement, but there must be the Lightning Rods, and just how do you catch Lightning in a bottle?

George Floyd probably did not plan on becoming such a lightning catcher on the day he died. He paid for this movement with his life, like many others down through time have, when they caught lightning in a bottle and cast it forth. Sometimes we become a Lightning Rod by accident, but most of the time there is something about the person that perfectly suits them to the task, and such was Katniss of the Hunger Games. This is the magic of these movies, the rising of a symbol of inspiration and fire! The rising of such a person, even though unbeknownst to herself. Circumstances beyond her control played a big part in ordering her path.

She never planned to become the Mockingjay. It was others who saw it in her, and began pulling it out. And now that I think about it, when she shoots that arrow into the lightning and short circuits the whole arena? WOW!!! How symbolic! Lightning in a bottle! And she was willing to die, if that were to happen.

Katniss volunteered for the Hunger Games to save her little sister. She only had a slim chance of surviving. She put herself between death and her sister. She had a talent with the bow, and she loved nature. She knew how to hunt and survive in the woods. She had beauty, was fit and athletic, she had a chance, but no one could be sure what would happen, and Katniss was not even aware of what she was becoming for a long time! She didn’t even want it in the beginning, but they crossed the line! Sometimes something crosses a line with us, and then that’s it, GAME ON!

Brian Sanders and his book/church, “UNDERGROUND CHURCH”, has become a Lightning Rod for me. He is a Mockingjay. Jesus Christ is my ultimate Mockingjay, but I also have others, smaller ones you could say, and I would love to be one in my own small way. That is why we have sought God for a vision, a holy task, a mission to go forth with and it shall develop as we go. The vision has come and we intend to pursue! It’s my Lightning in a bottle sent from Christ to inspire!

Most people are playing a Hunger Game. We are a people of desires! Appetites! Hunger! Wants! Emotions! ETC! But what have we chosen? What do we spend our time fighting for because we desire it? That’s what it comes down to, you know. What is that Lightning in a bottle for us? In our culture of SUCCESS, many are those seeking wealth, materialism, a castle, a personal empire, fame, fortune, pleasure, SELF, etc. etc. Snow was a leader too! He caught lightening in a bottle! But as we well know, so did Hitler, and leaders can be just as evil, as they can be good. What are we personally hungry for? Where do our appetites take us? What are you a Mockingjay for?

The people who know us, when they think of us, what would they say we are a Mockingjay for? In the Hunger Games the bird had become a symbol of rebellion against the rich and powerful of Panem. The Jabberjay was sent out to die! But somehow it survived by mating with the mockingbird, and became a bird known as the mockingjay. It did not die, it adapted and thrived! I believe that is already happening in what we call “church” today. A Sea Change is happening. To what are we to adapt? Do we surrender to worldliness, or is there a great victory ahead for all those sold out to Christ? King Saul was falling even as a little shepherd boy was rising!

“Blessed are they who do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” (Matt. 5:6) For those who claim to follow Christ, this should be our hunger.

For some of us, Christ and God’s Kingdom is our Lightning in a bottle! At least for a time, the idea of the Mockingjay will become a regular analogy of this site. What does it take to become a leader others are inspired to follow? Are we a Lightning Rod for Christ? Do we hunger for righteousness? Will we catch Lightning in a bottle and give it to others to drink from? There is death connected to this Lightning, but also life abundant! Choose you this day…

9021 I have taken a pause before continuing this subject. A Fellowship member actually asked me if there was a reason that I had not published in a few days? The simple answer is “Yes”.

I mentioned last article that I had downloaded 6 books related to this new move of God. I have been searching the oceans for the Sea Change. I have known it is out there. I have known its wave is coming. God told me so. I have wanted to be a part of it, and so much so that we left the traditional church 3 years ago to begin searching and implementing our own version of it as best we could. But that has not kept me from searching for someone who already has it going. Someone of a like-mind as to what I have heard from God. And I believe I have finally found one! And it’s already helped me form our next big step!

I have 2 books I’m reading like crazy trying to get it all in me, and I already know this blog site will soon be reflecting our revelation in a greater way. One is a book entirely on “Elijah”, by A. W. Pink. It has been so excellent so far. But the other book is actually about a different form of doing church right here in the United States, and it has been already functioning and tested for ten years! I’ve read 50% of the book and highly recommend it! I have great expectations for the next 50%, too! I actually had to force myself to write this today, so as to be faithful to such readers as there may be. So I will end this article with what I look for in a Micro Church leader, but first I want to tell you a little about this book.

“UNDERGROUND CHURCH”, by Brian Sanders. I’m not going to try and explain much about their ministry, at least not yet, his book is so worthy of reading for yourself. They are located in Tampa Bay Florida area. At the time of the book writing, they had a little over 200 Micro Churches doing all kinds of different ministries in the name of Jesus! They are very “MISSION” oriented. And as I read the book, not even half way through at the time, maybe there is an anointing on this book, but I suddenly was literally led by God into an “encounter” that has shown me the outreach/mission ministry our small Micro Church needs to start! I have been praying for this for months! Suddenly, BREAK-THROUGH!

This micro group outreach and community “inreach” will also provide many exciting and interesting stories for future writings. I’m looking so forward to it! I’m hoping we can launch no later than October. All I feel free to say at this point is, it involves rescued dogs! So if you love dogs, you can expect our future here to involve stories and dog pictures of rescued dogs that will be used to rescue people in need! That is the dream. I believe God has given me the structure for how this would work. I can hardly wait to launch this, but first there are preparations to make, and we are on it!

So now… I must curb my enthusiasm just a little bit, so I can write a little on what I’m looking for in Micro Church Leadership. Here’s a few quick thoughts, the man I’m looking for, and the man I want to be myself, must be honest, true, kind, peaceful, and a love for simplicity. He is very naturally simple and deep, and not what we see so much of today, not complex and shallow. Oh! and no money seeker! No lover of money! Living high on the world’s hog! God will provide! Let your moderation be known!

Of course he must be “called” of God, and because he is open and available, it is easy to examine his life and see if he is or not. He loves the pure Word of God. He teaches exactly what is written, and the whole Word of God, not just his favorite parts. He is not afraid to be open-minded and have respectful conversations with all peoples, but he has an ability to share what God hath said without disrespecting sincere people. His words are graced with God’s love. The sword of the Lord must always be carried in a sheath of love.

He understands holiness without being judgmental. He has enthusiasm! A fire in his belly! A youthfulness and energy! He believes in pursuing God dreams! And as Brian Sanders put it in his book, his head is in the clouds, but his feet are in the fire! Yes!!!

There is much I could say here, of course, but the main thing is it is obvious to one and all God has called this person to a God-given assignment, now what is that assignment? Let’s figure it out and make it happen! For God’s glory!

Of course God’s Word gives us a description of qualifications. 2nd Timothy is excellent on this. It speaks of in a great house there are vessels of gold and silver, vessels of honor, and vessels not so honorable. The whole book is great on this subject. It speaks of the last days and how many will no longer desire the true Word of God. And 1st Timothy has a very detailed description of Eldership/Bishop qualifications in chapter 3.

I was going to say more on this subject, but it really is so basic and simple. It’s a matter of really knowing each other and promoting each of us into our obvious callings of God. I’m going to leave this subject at that and also repeat again, both 1st and 2nd Timothy are excellent of this.

Now just before I end, as I have been also reading the book on Elijah, one thing I have found myself pondering is how Elijah was actually praying for a severe drought! He was praying for poverty and hunger! The man of God, called of God, was praying for God’s hand of blessing to lift from the people of God! And he knew what he was praying would bring hardship and suffering on one and all, including himself!

He was praying for suffering, lack, hunger, poverty, judgment, hardship, even death on God’s people! Are we to seek the curses? Do you do that? Are we in such a time today? Can you picture praying for such a thing to come on yourself and all around you? This is certainly not what you hear megachurches teaching. Are the days of Elijah coming again? Dare we pray for such things? Are we selfless enough to do what’s best no matter the cost? Has someone already been praying it? Has it already begun happening? Have you ever seen such a time? And it is only beginning!

We will end here for now, with much still to think about, as I continue being excited about our future. Our micro group has always been dog-friendly from the very beginning, and now it appears we may be going to be even more so. Maybe God was giving us a sign! Praise God! Seek and save that which is lost!

Old Paths – Micro Church? #1

9021 Will modern church fight the Sea Change in spite of “over whelming” evidence of her failure in America? Why do I specify America? Because it seems we have not failed so badly overseas. It appears our dollars invested to send missionaries to third world countries, and such, is resulting in much multiplication and revival! But why is that? Is it because our American version of church is succeeding there? Not according to the studies I have read. They are succeeding for exactly the opposite reasons!

These oversea revivals are not adopting the big church modern system, but they are doing it much more closely to what the Early Church of the Old Ways did! House to house! What we see throughout our New Testament! Isn’t that interesting! You say No? Maybe? We will see.

And in a time when the American church should be self examining and asking why all this has come upon us “on our watch”, we do not self-examine, but simply say to pray, vote for Trump, and we will overcome! (Where is the humble yourself, repent, turn from your wicked ways, seek my face?) If this is your answer for where we are going, then what is your reasoning on how we got here? Have you yet to even admit it is the modern church that is responsible to God for America’s condition? And if these be judgments from God, then who has caused them, the unsaved world who do not know what they do? Or a modern church who is supposed to know what they do?

I must give Mario Murillo credit for this. I believe he pointed out our SIN in scripture, and once I saw it,  I needed no further explanation because it was all so plain! I don’t know the details he has taught on this, but here is what seems so prophetically accurate to me, and yes…this does relate to our new SERIES of Old Paths and Micro Churches. I’m so excited to be finally getting fully into this.

I recommend one and all to read Jonah in detail, for yourself, but here are a few points for us to “launch” with. 1)…The Lord gave a message to Jonah! This is 1:1 of Jonah! And what did he do with it? He did not speak it! He refused to even go to those people that the message was for…and he RAN from God!

He was to warn of coming judgment, but refused! You may say we have had lots of people screaming judgment for years. Yes…but did you listen to them? And the message of the modern church has not been judgment, but prosperity and success and king theology! It says in verse 3, Jonah did not preach the message of the Lord, but got up and went in the opposite direction! He went “DOWN” to Joppa and got on a ship for Tarshish, whose name in the Greek means = a stone, a jem, a reverse! And when I think of a “jem”, I think of money, prosperity, materialism!

2)…But the Lord hurled a powerful wind over the sea, causing a violent storm that threatened to break the ship apart! (Remember the vision I’ve shared in detail in previous articles? The whirlwinds, dry corn shucks, and wire fences? And two old gates?) Fearing for their lives these unsaved men started praying to their gods for divine help! But Jonah was not praying in the storm, he was sleeping! (Vrs. 5)

3)…The captain of the ship demands for Jonah to pray to his God also! This is like the world telling the church to wake up and pray! What are you doing sleeping in a storm like this? And soon, it is discovered, the whole storm is because of Jonah! It is not because of these ungodly men who know not what they do, but because of Jonah who knows exactly what he is doing! The storm has come on ALL of them because of Jonah, God’s man, not anyone else! This is our fault, church! And are you examining your modern ways to figure out why? Or must we be thrown overboard, by the world, into the sea, to be swallowed by a fish, before we will finally get serious about our calling as Priests in the earth!

We will be having much more to say about Jonah and the church, for example…in chapter 2, verse 10, it says the fish “spit” or “vomited” Jonah out of his mouth! That sounds a whole lot like the church of Laodicea to me! And what have we already been saying? But even as Jonah is spit out on that beach, he still has serious attitude issues! But I don’t want to just spend time on how we got here, but also where we go from here. In this series I want to talk about both. We need to speak about what Jonah did, and also what Jesus DID!

The clock is coming full circle! Is the church becoming as the Jewish church was in Jesus day? Jesus looked at the Pharisees and said, when speaking of Nineveh! > “The people of Nineveh will stand up against this generation on judgment day and condemn it, for they repented of their sins at the preaching of Jonah.”

“Now someone greater than Jonah is here — but you refuse to repent.” (Matt. 12:41b)

He goes on to say, “Now someone greater than Solomon is here — but you refuse to listen.”

Refusal to take this seriously. Refusal to repent or listen. I no longer claim to be a Christian. I have tried to correct my habit of speech developed over many years of being a Christian. I try to always specify “I am a follower of Jesus”. I need to go deep into that, also. The modern church has so tainted the name of “Christian”, that I can no longer use that title in good conscience.

However, the name of Jesus still stands pure! If you truly follow Jesus, which is Christianity in its purest and simplest form, people will still respect you. But what does that mean? How have we sullied the name, Christian? Do you even understand? Love of money…king theology… power… sexual unfaithfulness. And related to power…”politics” now also “marks” the name Christian/church/Bible, in the eyes of the world. The world knows Jesus never went political, even though baited more than once by the disciples.

Do I plan to vote? Yes. Do I make a major issue out of politics? No. I focus on the transformation of hearts in Christ Jesus. I never want to speak of politics to the point someone will not listen to me concerning Jesus. Only if I were called of God to that work would I become that vocal, and God does call such people. But the church as a whole is meant to be preaching the Gospel! And multiplying through discipleship! Like salt out of a shaker!

Did you know the death of Billy Graham has proven itself to be a spiritual marker in time, for this nation? And consider this, even though Billy Graham was associated with every President we ever had, it seems, but he was not political! The few times he crossed that line he said he regretted! The young Rev. Graham got involved with Nixon and crossed the line. But the older Graham had learned! He was advisor to both Clinton and Reagan! He told “Christianity Today” in 2011 that he would have ‘steered clear of politics” and he had crossed the line a few times but would not do that now! He did not join the Moral Majority or the Religious Right! How do you think he was able to advise someone like Clinton and also Bush, or Jimmy Carter, and also Reagan? And yet remain above it all!

Billy Graham focused on changing hearts in the power of God, and then a right heart votes godly! And good political leaders with a true desire to serve the people become available. But in a world growing more and more worldly, it don’t matter how political you may get, soon, there will be no good choices! (And some would say we’re already there!) This storm is because of the church running from God’s true message and true ways! And the world plans to throw us in the deep blue raging sea! At least Jonah admitted it was because of him.

If the modern church fails to admit its sin, will God still prepare a fish for us? Or simply let us drown? If we are spit out on the beach, will we preach it then, or just remain a beach bum? Building sandcastles, and lamenting the days of yore?

I firmly believe when the first church in Acts was simply growing larger and larger in that one place, God was saying, “This is not what I want, guys.” So he put his Believers in a salt shaker and began shaking the bottle, because they were simply piling up in a large hump, in one place, not seasoning the whole plate at all! So he allowed persecution and sent them out like salt to sprinkle throughout the land and multiply. Invade, saturate, multiply, fight decay, and season the experience of life for all to see!

Is this thing being called “Micro Church”, the new move of God? Is it God trying to get us back to the wisdom and Holy Spirit power of the old ways? Are we in big lumps that don’t know how to truly be the “family” of God, experiencing shallow relationships instead of the deep? We have so much more to say on this subject, as to Modern Church…Micro Church…Jonah…and Jesus!

“The Peace of God”

“I am leaving with you a gift — peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”

Signed… Jesus Christ.

No…the world cannot give this peace. It is impossible, for it is not of its nature. Is it any wonder? A friend and I had our Fellowship/church at the Dunes in northern Indiana this last week. I’m so glad it was not a hot sunny day, because the cool breezes, and the mixtures of blues, whites, and greys in the water and sky were so PEACEFUL! God knew the best medicine and what the aesthetics of our sanctuary that day should be! This was a view that was “felt” as much as seen.

The birds were at peace too, (imagine that), as they enjoyed the tan colored sand and green grasses against the backdrop of a lake so big, it seems as the sea. All of this and more mixed together to create an aesthetic of peace and beauty. Both the bird and the landscape seemed unaware of what was going on with man, in the big cities, in Indianapolis just three hours away, in Chicago not so far away, in the media, our cell phones, and the minds and hearts of so many. Racism, Covid 19, and politics. All our media’s current favorite subjects.

 

Is there something wrong with me that when I see how the world does things, I simply go farther out to sea? I seek more Holy Spirit, more of the love of God, more of the wisdom of God? And does that mean I don’t care about what has happened to the black man, and the pain they feel, and the rage they need to vent? Is that what it means?

The best answers come from a peaceful mind.

Less than best come out of minds of chaos, torment, fear, hate.

The world simply is not my way. It’s not that I don’t care, but I see the over reacting, the violence, the closed minds filled with socialist agendas and antichrist thinking, and I know where this is going. So I speak the Sword of the Lord, but no one wants to hear it, because the Bible is part of the problem, I am part of the problem, so they say.

So I found myself fellowshiping with the cool breeze, a great lake, a good friend, and some winged birds. God showed up in that place, and in my soul. I will continue looking to the vast ocean of God for my answers. He wrote them upon the waves of the pages of my Bible, the cool breeze of His Holy Spirit, and the sharp edge of His Sword.

This is why the world will shout the Bible down. It will not be allowed to speak. Darkness flees when light speaks, so it must not be allowed! God’s Sword must not be allowed to come out of our mouth, because Eve/Gaia cannot stand when this Sword cuts!

“Pull down your father’s altar to Baal, and cut down the Asherah pole (Canaanite goddess) standing beside it.” (God’s instructions to Gideon. Judges 6:25)

“The head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.” (1st Cor. 11:3)

Yes…we are the greatest danger to the New Age Movement, Socialism, Rise of woman, and Gaia worshipers. This is true. And the modern church will “cave” right on time, but Gideon’s 300, and Elijah’s 7,000, and the message of John the Baptist will not cave. This world may shout down the modern church and put them in checkmate, but never the likes of Gideon, Elijah, or John the Baptist, whose souls were full of the Sea, the peace and power of God.

Sail on Soul Sailors… fill your sails with the Wind, not the chaos of this world. God is the Wind under our wings and in our sails. Prepare to walk on water, come what may. Pray now, so you will not be lacking later, if the Lord be your Shepherd.
