“Vision Update” #2

20171202_173614 As our story left off last episode, I arrived at the farm where my teepee sits and find my 87 year old dad, out in a 50 mph wind, trying to tie and blockade our old fence together! Rather than simply open it up and let the fierce winds blow through, he’s in a life and death battle, like Don Quixote fighting windmills!

So I sent him inside and I decided to open the gates and let the flood of corn shucks and wind flow in. The wind was fierce! I can’t remember the last time we had winds like that at the farm. Had the corn field not been harvested, everything would have been different, but it had been, and now we had this corn shuck storm pounding the farm, filling the gate and fences, which are held up by very old posts, and it was simply a wicked situation. It was incredible to look upon, but nothing you wanted to be in for very long. I don’t know what the wind chill factor was, but it was an all round nasty day for me to be arriving at teepee and starting my first “Godseek” in this special place I had built with my own two hands.

So I climbed back in my old truck with the double Shofar’s on the hood and drove back to the private area, under a big tree, in which the teepee sits. I grabbed some things out of the truck and headed to the teepee with a big night ahead of me. As I came under the tree I entered a stillness that was almost eerie! I looked around and saw everything still blowing like a hurricane only mere inches away from me! But where I stood, next to the teepee, WAS NO WIND! It was completely protected! You ask how can that be?

Okay, there is a logical reason. It was not some supernatural force, but… God had arranged things in such a way that the wind was straight out of the west and the teepee sits immediately behind a huge barn that was completely blocking the fierce winds! A picture is worth a thousand words they say.

20181007_191325 It was as if the teepee was in a protected space! I stood there with my mouth hanging open, in complete peace, while I looked upon total chaos going on all around me! I made note of all this in my mind and then entered the teepee to begin my separated time.

Now another thing I did not know and did not plan was the Orion meteor shower. My wife chose the dates all this took place. I didn’t know about any meteor shower until I heard it on a radio program when I was getting ready that morning! So this became another element of what I felt God was showing me. I was beginning to realize there was more going on here than simple coincidences. It was like a living vision being played out. God was giving me pieces to a jigsaw puzzle, but what would it all mean?

That night the winds died down and I went out into the cold and stared up at that huge dark sky. It was full of stars! There was also a moon. There were no city lights making it difficult to see. The farm was dark, no outside lights on. I’ve never been much of an astronomer or very good at seeing constellations. But that night I sware I saw the constellation of Orion clearly! I had been studying it on the Internet hoping to be able to pick it out. I knew what I was looking for, but I had always been so bad at it! Not that night! I saw his belt, his bow, his sword, the hour-glass shape of his body! I saw it all clearly! But I saw no meteors.

Now I was like a Batman trying to solve a mystery. I was in prayer and research. I discovered there was a “window of time” which was best to see a meteor! The reason was…the moon would set at a certain time and the sun did not rise till a certain time, leaving the sky its darkest! This made it the easiest for a meteor to show up! And before the weekend was over, I did see one! (Just one, and it was quick.)

But the hair on my neck stood up when I realized the time my watch stopped at was in that window! As best I remember, the window was approximately 3 hours. The moon would be gone and no other light in the sky except for stars until the sunrise. My watch had stopped one hour, and like 3 minutes before the sunrise! In other words, things would go extra dark as the moon sat, but my watch stopped at a time with just over an hour left of that darkness before the sun rising! My watch stopping had become a part of this mystery and another clue!

This set me to trying to calculate how long an hour is with God? My reasoning was, if a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as a day, then how long is an hour? Because my watch stopped showing roughly an hour and three minutes before the sunrise, in that window of time in which the moon, (which is a symbol of the church), was set and greater darkness invaded, but also stars or meteors become brighter!

My calculations, if I’m right, came out to be 41.66666 years! But now I had to also calculate those 3 minutes and so many seconds. (yes there was some seconds. I’ll try to have the exact time for you in next episode. I got to dig out my journal.) Anyway, eventually… other clues slowly came narrowing down the date…but I eventually decided God was very plainly showing me June of 2020!

At that time I had just started having our first Passover meals with our Fellowship, but I had never given much thought to Pentecost, which comes 50 days after the Lord’s resurrection. But this year, when COVID had us all locked in our homes at Passover, just like the original Passover, and we realized something special might be happening, then I became aware of Pentecost! And it happened to be the day before crossing into June! At midnight of Pentecost day we would cross into June! Crossing the line God had showed me! So I began making spiritual preparations to receive from God anything he might want to pour out on me that day! (There was fasting, prayer, and study involved for a period of 3 weeks.)

And so…I have been watching these things for like one year and seven months. When COVID broke out, it was not yet June. I told my wife this may be leading to what God showed me, but we’re not there yet. As bad as COVID is, what might June be bringing? And then our phones went off that night before midnight. I think like 7 or 8. And there were the messages of an enforced 8 pm. curfew in Indianapolis! We actually had no idea things had gotten so bad, just ten minutes from us! We actually live inside the 465 ring. It had never been like this in our city before! And a few hours later, we crossed midnight and entered June, and the journey continues, even as we see sweeping changes “of all sorts” coming our way.

I’m sure I’ve missed a few details that will be added as we go, but even back in October of 2018 I knew this vision was connected to what would be the 2020 elections. I don’t consider myself a prophet. I’ve missed things before. I feel God shows me things because I love seeking his mysteries, but then I try to read the tea leaves. I love trying to solve the puzzle. I invite you to also ponder what all this means, but in recent time I have a stronger opinion about what I think I see. Let me explain the “gates” for a moment, and then we will stop for now.

I wish I had a picture, I’ll take one next time I’m out there, but the gate is actually two parts. They are like cow gates you would find on a farm. Each half is rather long, one end attached to what “use to be” very strong 4×4 posts. These post are rotting at the base and my dad has propped them every way possible. One gate is much worse than the other. These two connect in the middle, across the driveway entering the farm. They have to be opened by hand. The teepee sits in the back of property, a secluded area behind the barn. Now I have come to believe these two old gates represent the connection between our traditional church system and Donald Trump! (Oh boy.)

As you pull into our drive, the gate on the right is the weakest one with the most rotten 4×4 base. I have come to believe that gate represents Trump, and the other the traditional church. Both gates are old and in bad shape. If you know this site you know I left traditional church to join the Simple Micro Church movement. I climbed out of my Shofar truck and told my dad (representing the traditional church) to leave, I’m opening the gates! Wow. A lot to think about.

I believe God has shown me some things about all of this just since Pentecost. I didn’t “feel” a thing as Pentecost passed, but first I felt an urge to spend another three days at the teepee this June 12,13, and 14. That’s my plan. And then I also began seeing a lot more in the events currently happening, and the events I experienced in that strange 24 hour day I had in October 2018. And oh, by the way, that watch started working again a couple days later, and ran for a few months before giving it up. The watch was defective. It should have lasted much longer. But all very weird.

To be continued.

 The mystery continues.

“Trump is not Jesus!”

5883 Left Wing Media? LOL! I hate politics. I see it as a necessary evil. There is no perfect system, and for some reason… the chance for power…money… fame… bling… whatever; modern politics attracts a lot of undesirable behavior from people. Makes them act like little spoiled children.

Yesterday is an incredible case in point, when President Trump took the media to school and became their teacher with the facts in hand. What did the left wing media do with it? Did they learn anything? Did they thank him for presenting no-fake facts? Did they walk out of there smarter? No… they walked out filled with even more hate, and to all of us watching it is so obvious that it leaves us sick of our stomach and shaking our heads! I almost puked as I checked CNN last night to get their take on it all. I do like hearing both sides.

What did they do with their day in class? Instead of learning a single thing, they cried that the teacher was a bully! How dare he use the truth against us? (Aren’t real journalist supposed to desire truth? If they’re not journalist, what are they? Why are they even there?) How dare he stand up to our attacks! He’s nothing but a big bully! (I am so sick of my stomach after almost four years of these losers crying.)

Do they think President Trump is Jesus? He’s supposed to stay silent like a lamb while they constantly seek to find fault and twist every word he says? They expect a man to be perfect?

So the analogy here is a school room of higher education. The media did not know they were going to be taken to school, or they would not have showed up. They want a one-sided show. What if the media represent real students in a real school? What kind of students are they? When presented with facts concerning their own bad behavior, they cry bully! The teacher presented the facts, provable by their own words written or spoken and recorded, and somehow they sat in class and totally misinterpret and twist the lesson? In other words, these are the kind of students who could never learn anything, or ever pass a class! You can’t teach someone like that! And these are the students we listen to??? The pen is deadlier than a gun. America protects their speech, but these people are dangerous! Don’t kid yourself into thinking they are not. The gun is loaded!

How has politics come to this? How has media come to this? Was it this way in the days of our forefathers? Or have we become some kind of spoiled brats they would have taken not to a class room, but a wood shed! (Oh oh… that’s probably not good political correctness. I hate politics., but it’s the best system we got.)

Somehow…in spite of ourself…America is still a great place to live. However, if the church don’t get back to the Christian roots of what she is called to be, the tides of evil are rising! Truth is falling in the streets! The President can do as good a job as anyone could ever reasonably expect in very uncertain and unknown times, and yet he will be attacked every time he tries to tell us what’s happening.

Frankly, even if I thought Trump was a horrible president, (which I don’t), but if I did, I would still have to give the man great credit for being willing to walk onto that platform day after day, knowing he was about to be attacked in every crafty word of question or remark that could possibly be devised. Jesus had the “VERY SAME” problem with the Pharisees! And even Jesus called them vipers and snakes! Even Jesus did! And Trump is not Jesus! I think he’s shown tremendous restraint! LOL. If you can use those words with Donald Trump. (I can’t believe I’m even saying this. Wow.)

But compared to the left wing media, they make President Trump look good! That’s a truth hard to believe possible, but they do! And I hate politics! But as an honest person, I still have to admit this system has given me a good life. I thank God for America and this system that has somehow managed to work in spite of all the corruption that has attacked it. But how much longer will it be so? Especially as we become more and more a post-Christian nation? (No fake news here, just facts.) What about it, church?

I actually heard a Christian the other day recommending the book “Fifty Shades of Grey”! What kind of Christian is that? This is our own facts being thrown back in the face of what the church has become! What are we doing about it? Are we going back to our spiritual roots! NO! We just keep pressing blindly ahead! Don’t bother me with the facts, I’ve got my best life to live! I don’t have time for truth! What does the Bible REALLY say? What did Jesus REALLY do? I’m not interested! I love the Beatitudes, just don’t expect me to live them! What kind of love is that?

Can any system or person or country withstand continual attack from people so set on an agenda based on lies? A people so in love with power, pleasure, money, and self promotion that no one truly seeks the good of their country anymore? Could that day come when there is no longer anyone fighting for what is right in Washington DC? When there is no longer push back against the lies? No longer exposure of the lies? Because if they do, they come under such attack the average person could never survive? Even their family is persecuted!

To tell you the truth, one of the main reasons I finally decided to vote for our current President, was the fact he fought against the lies no matter what people thought or said. True…it wasn’t always pretty, but at least he fought! I’ve been so sick of wishy washy politicians who let media walk on them, that when I saw a man who would at least stand, whatever other faults he may have, I voted for him! And plan to do so again because the truth is, the side on the left is still just as messed up as they were! Maybe worse! They haven’t learned a thing! They ate their school books or cooked them, or both!

If the President says something is white, they say it’s black! If he decides to change to black, then they say it’s white! And was always white! Even if we did say it was black before! Don’t face us with such facts as our own words and actions! You’re just a big bully! (Wow…that’s really sad.) Do they really think we don’t see this? We would have to be blind.

It’s amazing to me that those of the left, if they were to read this article, they would totally deny their own words and actions as if none of it matters at all, and they would simply try to shout me down with hate and name-calling, just like the behavior of little kids I remember in grade school. They would never let me forget my words, even things they might twist my words into, but they can say and do whatever they want, be wrong a million times, but they get a complete pass in their own minds.

But as proven by all this, these people must not be the brightest bulbs in the room because they don’t seem to realize how obvious this all is to the rest of us. They really think they are fooling us? Oh my. They think we don’t see they have no clothes? Oh my. They really think they’re that good? Oh my. Well… there you go, I guess we see the problem, huh. Thy’re not good journalist at all. They are traitors to true journalism. A plain old dictionary can teach you that much. Where do they get their facts from? Their own minds. I guess they also have a fake dictionary, too. (I’ve got to stop because this just keeps getting worse the farther I go, and I don’t want to go there. It’s a snake pit.)

Like I said, I hate politics, but I am fascinated by human behavior. One reason the Bible will always be relevant is because human behavior never changes without the help of God. The Bible will always be relevant and some people will always want to burn it into nonexistence if they could. They have tried before. These people claim to be Christians while promoting the death of babies in the sacred womb. How much darker can it get? This is the kind of darkness the Bible warns us about. This is the kind of truth that is falling in the streets. And I have written these words while I still can.

“…….. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!” (Matt. 6:23b)

Truth is simple. Lies are complicated. Let us seek the simplicity of truth.

Covenant of Darkness P-1

I have known for a long time, the Old Covenant, the Old Testament in our Bible, is darkness to man, not salvation. And because it is full of a lot of good laws by which to conduct society, and the ungodly, we do not realize its death to us.

From the very beginning, the first covenant was meant for man to fail, and God to fulfill!

How many times have you asked someone if they are a Christian, and they answer by saying they try to live by the 10 Commandments? This only reveals their lack of understanding of God, God’s Word, and God’s way of salvation; for the Covenant of the Laws only prove us guilty! Worthy of judgement! No man has ever successfully kept the Old Covenant save Jesus Christ Himself, God Himself! Which He did in order to save us from the judgement our failure deemed us worthy of! And that judgement is based upon the First Covenant, with all the “thou shalt nots”, and “thou shalts”!

Please consider this scripture as a first step in understanding this very important biblical concept: “So if the priesthood of Levi, on which the law was based, could have achieved the perfection God intended, why did God need to establish a different priesthood, with a priest in the order of Melchizedek instead of the order of Levi and Aaron? And if the priesthood is changed, the law must also be changed to permit it.” (Hebrews 7: 11-12 NLT)

Jesus is the beginning of a different priesthood, which the Bible describes as a priesthood after the order of Melchizedek, a very mysterious person who shows up for Abraham way back in Genesis 14! Jesus begins a different priesthood because he established a very different Covenant, which we enter into through Him! And whereas the first Covenant was based on 10 Commandments, our Lord’s Covenant is based on only 2! And we will look at the very different nature of the 10 and the 2, for there is great purpose and meaning in that difference!

As a first step in understanding this difference, please note our scripture speaks of a “perfection” God intended in that first covenant. As every human well knows, we do not do well with that word, “perfect”. In our world there is no such thing as perfect, especially in the behavior of man!

Jesus spoke of this perfection in his famous Sermon on the Mount, in Matthew 5: 48, when he said, “But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect.”

But how are we to achieve such perfection? It certainly cannot be done by way of the First Covenant. That was why Jesus was here. To fulfill that Covenant and that perfection for us, and establish a new order of priesthood and a New Covenant, powerful enough in “His” perfection and “His” blood to save a true Believer! Wow! Is that awesome or what! But this also means the First Covenant is only failure for us! It is defeat, judgement, darkness, no hope, no light, no heaven! Only hell!

It did bring the One who is Light to us. Praise God! And that was God’s plan from the beginning. It does save us in a round-about way, if we realize that First Covenant is pointing towards Christ the whole time! It is meant to be as a school master teaching us the way to salvation, but it is not the salvation we need in itself. It announces the salvation to come, and gives us many lessons and warnings as to why we should not neglect the great salvation to come, for we do not want to die in the Covenant of Law! The Covenant of Moses! But we rejoice in the coming of God’s Covenant of Grace in Christ Jesus!

“There is a way that seems right to man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

Man always seems to think he can do it himself. That is our own logic and our natural way, unless we understand how defiled we are, and how far short of perfection we fall. The Bible teaches if you break even one of the Commandments, you are guilty of breaking all! And Jesus added to the difficulty of the challenge when again, in His Sermon on the Mount, he said if you even look at a woman with lust, you are guilty of adultery! If you are angry with someone, you commit murder! The mark of perfection is so high, man was without hope!

Now that we have established the basic understanding of how the Old Covenant is not life to us, but death; I can now begin explaining how I came to call the First Covenant, the “Covenant of Darkness”. I never called it this, nor did I even think of it in this way, until one day I realized by the time Adam and Eve got kicked out of the Garden of Eden, it had to be dark! Once I realized this, I became curious if all the major moves of the Old Covenant had darkness involved, and it did! I was amazed! And I realized that once again God was showing us more truth! It was more than my own curiosity, but the Holy Spirit was leading me.

So… you can begin looking at it yourself if you like, but next episode (P-2) we will look at Adam and Eve’s expulsion, and every major move of the Old Covenant thereafter, clear up to Jesus completing the Old Covenant Himself, on the cross. You might recall God brought three hours of darkness in the middle of the day in that event! And three hours is no simple eclipse!

And why is this so important? Because Jesus brought us the Covenant of Light. You will also see that every major move of the New Covenant, such as Christ’s resurrection, is performed in light! These cannot be mere happenstance! And so… if we try to pull anything from the Covenant of Darkness and force it into the Covenant of Light? Are we not guilty of forcing darkness into God’s light? But who does that, you might ask.

Well… our modern church does not even realize the love of money they are guilty of, which is the root of all evil! The New Covenant in Christ is based on two very different commands than the original 10. We are to LOVE God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. And we are to LOVE our neighbor as ourself. The early church established by Christ functioned on LOVE OFFERINGS. Even the Pastors lived off LOVE OFFERINGS. When did tithing come back into things? Is it possible it was drug from the old and forced into the new because of the greed of man? We do not even realize how many ways we may be bringing law into God’s love and liberty.

I have pondered if this is even a slap in the face of Jesus as he hung on that cross paying the price for us to live in liberty and Spirit. I fear to answer that with a yes, but I see the possibility. We have a warped version of Jesus and as a result, we create warped disciples. Jesus said an easy yoke and light burden, and yet we make church a heavy thing, full of lifeless programs, boring repetitious routines, and very little true liberty and relationship.

Once upon a time I was excited when God revealed all this to me. But today I had to force myself to obey God and begin the work of putting this out there, because I have already shown this to others, only to find they are so programmed they can no longer look at scriptures for themselves and actually see what they say. Either that, or they just don’t care that much. I usually encounter one of the two.

So… I’m making this effort because I believe this is way more important than the reaction I usually get, and someone has to keep shouting that the “King Theology” has no clothes! Laodicea has no clothes! We should be looking to Smyrna! It is a very dangerous time to be Laodicean! But can the programmed ever see?

There is much more to show in the proving of this message. I know I have only begun to give you solid evidence of what I have said. I hope you realize the importance of this enough, that if you still have doubts, you will come back to examine all the evidence. But for now this is enough of the elephant for any person to eat in one setting. Chew on the fact Jesus changed the priesthood and the laws, because the First Covenant was never intended for us to succeed, but only fail. It is not based on LOVE, but LAW and PERFECT FULFILLMENT. This meal is to be continued…soon. Comments welcome.

Proper Balance

20171202_173614 Hi! Grandpa White Feather here. It all starts with the proper foundation. Jesus, the Master Carpenter and High Priest after the order of Melchizedek, laid the perfect foundation for his Church. This foundation is perfectly square and perfectly level. This foundation is perfect, but then man began building upon it.

Most of this blog site has been about my spiritual journey of leaving the modern American Church in search of something closer to what Jesus actually did, because we have drifted so far from the original pattern. Our modern Church is more like a big business than our Father’s house. Jesus came revealing to us the “Father”. The Church he birthed is a type of the Father’s House, but we have turned it into a den of thieves and every other worldly way. Is this my Father’s House?

We have spoke much of these things in earlier articles. We have taken this spiritual journey together, and it is still there for anyone to study. I started this blog as a personal tool, so I could use it as I personally teach others. It’s as a text book for me. So whether anyone reads this site or not, it is still very useful in my personal teachings with people. I will continue growing it until there is no need to grow anymore.

So… it’s time to begin asking some new questions. The answers to our previous questions have brought us to a place more perfectly “square” and “level”. We have gotten back closer to what Jesus actually did. So where do we go from here? With our new knowledge, what new light does it shine on every aspect of our spiritual life and journey? What kind of powerful life can we have in Christ as a result of the new knowledge we possess? It’s time to ask those questions and pioneer our new frontier. As always, our goal is a life that soars more, and flaps less…i.e. supernatural.

As I talked to God about this, it seemed to me that finding our proper balance is such an important first step. We all talk about seeking balance in our life. We all recognize how difficult that can be in our modern lifestyle. If I can help even one person, including myself, find that proper balance of God, then I have gained a great treasure. If there is a way of maintaining spiritual balance, so much so that the world can no longer rock your boat, disturb your peace, confuse your passion and purpose, then we have gained a great treasure, and become a rich person. We become rich in the true riches of eternity.

Still to this day I enjoy the pleasure of riding a bike down a beautiful country road. If I can find a road where traffic is slow and light, and the street has ample room, riding a bike is a great delight. As a young man growing up in the country, my bike was my freedom before I was old enough to drive. I rode for many many miles, but I also remember how hard it was in the beginning, to get the balance of the thing. Not much true forward motion and freedom was achieved until I mastered that balance.

It’s really strange how easy it is to ride a bike once you get the hang of it. How does something go from very difficult, even dangerous, to piece-of-cake-easy so suddenly? It is a mystery to me, but suddenly you’re doing it, and you never forget how to ride a bike. Is that not true? Balance can open such pleasures and joy for us. It is no wonder that mankind constantly seeks that perfect balance, as elusive as it may seem to be. But if anyone knows how to master it, it is our Lord Jesus Christ. If anyone knows how to bring square and level to our lifestyle, it’s the Master Spiritual Carpenter from Galilee.

The things we will speak of may not sound easy at first, but like learning to ride that bike, if God says this is the way, you can trust he knows what he is talking about. But do we really trust him? Are we ready to let him take the training wheels off, start pedaling that bike with his hand keeping us steady, but knowing at some point he is going to let go… so we can learn…so we can do…so we can be free and soar? Do we really believe? Have we really accepted Christ as the truth, the way, and the life? Because this will test if you have or not.

When I read scripture, I hear Jesus speaking of a life simple and serene. He also spoke of a “depth”. However, many people today are lost in the shallow and complex as they chase material things that will never satisfy, only enslave. As a young man I fell into many of those same traps. I became the enslaved until I finally began realizing how this kept happening to me. How I wish I could have read teachings of this sort at that time. I’m sure I would have still made some of the same mistakes, but I would have “woke up” sooner, and found a proper balance quicker. My life could have been free and flowing much sooner than it was. I could have been walking the white path much sooner.

Of course we must know all this is somehow connected to out spirit, not our flesh. Jesus knew this way. Our gut tells us this is true and yet we fail to ride that bike, until we finally grow sick of rotten fruit and begin hungering after the foods of God. Here is what our Bible tells us the fruit of God produces in us:

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,…” Galatians 5:22a

And those are just the first three! There are nine of them, but some of the others may sound hard? Do we trust our Father? Will we learn such a balance that begins with love, joy, and peace? The choice is yours, but God does take note of our actions.

This is where our path now goes. Now that we have a more solid foundation getting back to what Jesus did, now we stay with this same path. We do not change to another horse or another path. This one has brought us to very good places. It is a true path. Why would we change now? No! We must see where this goes, for it is a path without end, an eternal path leading to eternal places, and if we are wise, that is the journey every man seeks.

However, if you have not read the journey thus far, and you have a very out of square and unlevel perspective concerning the House/Family of our Father, then these future teachings will likely not last for you. The climb may be too steep and high. You will have no strength for it. Do the work of a proper builder, and get that foundation right. It’s all there for you. Just go back to what Jesus actually did.

Our next lesson will continue this question of proper balance, how to find and maintain it. It doesn’t come in one easy answer. There are a few pieces to this puzzle. But once you have all the proper pieces and put them in place, guess what? Up pops a beautiful picture!

Have you ever noticed how even just one piece missing from a jigsaw puzzle seems to ruin the whole thing? Well… this is one puzzle well worth getting all the pieces to. We continue our journey. Our path led to a certain mountain range and we continue the climb. We have the strength for it. We will not stop until we know the whole land, possess every peak, enjoy every view. The good Lord is willing, and so are we.

This message has been brought to you by Grandpa White Feather, and “Fellowship of the White Path”.

20180829_171204 At age 62, I built this teepee with my own two hands, simple and serene. Peace we have, and peace we teach.

Jesus- Master Carpenter

“Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary…” (Mark 6:3)

God the Father could have chosen for Jesus to be born into a family of whatever trade he desired. He could have been a blacksmith and learn to work with fire and shape steel. He could have been a doctor, or merchant, or politician. All the possibilities that existed at that time, but he was born into the family of a carpenter, a man working with wood. So Jesus learned carpentry, and I’m sure he was a good student. I’m sure he became a Master Carpenter.

One thing about carpenters is they understand how important it is for something to be “level” and “square”. In this blog site I have spoke often of the church “short-forming” things. Cutting things short. Cutting things they ought not to have cut to begin with. We’ve talked about getting back to the early church fathers so we can get back to what Jesus actually DID, and what Jesus actually BUILT. Here is a real life story of what happened to me just this last week.

My dad is 86 years old and he decided the farm barn needed a new door. Not a small door, but the big roll away door that hangs on rollers. I offered to help build it, but he said no. All he needed me to do was help hang it. He wanted to build it.

A few days later I get a call and he is at his wits end because the door is not going together right, and he doesn’t know why? He’s wore himself out trying to figure it out. I told him I’d be out tomorrow. He said he would be gone all morning and half the afternoon before he would be home. I did not say this, but I thought to myself, “GOOD!” Because my dad likes to take over on things, and it’s his farm, his barn, and his door! So I knew what would happen. How could I tell him what to do with his door? He wanted my help because he was wore out, but tomorrow he would be ready to take over again. So me having a chance to figure out the problem while he was gone, was PERFECT!

When I got there I found the partially built door laying on the cement floor. There was a long 2×6 board running across the top and one across the bottom. He had tongue and groove planks to be interlocked and nailed to the two long boards. He had one plank nailed to one end of the long boards. This is where the door would start. Then he also nailed one at the other end. This left a big space of no planks between the planks, and my first thought was: “Is the door square?” So I took my tape measure and did the “X” thing from corner to corner and it was not. Got to fix that first.

So I knocked the door around a little, trying to square it up, but no matter what I did, it refused! What am I doing wrong? What is wrong with this door? I was beginning to see what my dad meant. I took the end plank loose and played with the boards some more. Still no luck! Forty minutes went by and I began to fear my dad would get home before I figured this out, and then I wouldn’t be able to think because of his constant talking. It was a real fear! So I prayed under my breath.

The door simply had to be square or it would never be a proper door. It would be nothing but trouble! But what is the problem? Finally…in desperation, I saw dad had cut the two long boards to a certain length. I assumed he cut them so they would properly fit the door opening. I saw the two end pieces he had cut off the boards. Picking them up, I compared their sizes. They should be the same size. But they were not! There was almost 6 inches difference! One board was 6 inches shorter than the other! This wall would never square in the normal way with two different size boards! And then I found out later, that he should not have cut them at all! They were already the right size! So I had to splice the cut off pieces back on!

This difference of 6 inches was very hard to see with the naked eye. Because of the way the wall was laid out, and two planks nailed on, the 6 inches just didn’t stand out. But when I compared the two cut off sections, I knew the boards had to be different. Once I discovered the real problem, then I was able to square the wall a different way, and we were soon on the way to building a proper door. I had it three-fourths done when he got home, and he could not believe I had it almost fixed and finished.

20180904_171847 When Jesus laid the foundation for his church, I’m sure everything was exactly square and level. The Master Carpenter set it right, but since that time men have built upon that foundation walls not level and not square. They cut short things they ought not to have. And what they have built will never square! I had to undo almost everything my dad did, before I was able to fix the problem he had created! But had my dad not been away, for me to have a chance, I don’t know if it ever would have been made right.

Over my many years of being involved in church, I’ve had the chance to offer direction many times, but since I was not the Pastor, my insight never seemed to be accepted, and we ended up down roads I eventually walked away from. And this is why I finally realized I needed to start something that fit the vision in me, and see what God would do?

How we build on what the Master Carpenter laid the foundation for is of utmost importance! As the leader of a flock, it must be taken with extreme seriousness!

“…But whoever is building on this foundation must be very careful. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one we already have — Jesus Christ. Anyone who builds on that foundation may use a variety of materials — gold, silver, jewels, wood, hay, or straw. But on the judgement day, fire will reveal what kind of work each builder has done. The fire will show if a person’s work has any value.” (I Cor. 3:10-13)

It goes on to say much more, and I advise reading it all. We have done much at this blog site to expose how far our Modern American Church (MAC) has drifted from the original four-square pattern the Master Carpenter created. Many people seem to think it is no big deal. Believe me, if it were YOUR house, level and square would be a really BIG DEAL! But it’s time for this site to teach of other factors involved in our “unsquare” modern teachings. What is simplicity? What is serenity? Would you describe your life as simple and serene? Why is it we seem to be stuck in the fast lane of life while God flows in the slow?

These are factors also affected by our modern way of living, a way not square and not level with what Jesus taught. The unsquare and unlevel modern church says you are successful and full of the wisdom of God, and yet you have become slave to many things, and Jesus taught a different way. These modern builders are building houses of cards that will not stand the test of God’s fire. Jesus is still the Master Carpenter. Lets get back to what Jesus DID. What would Jesus do (WWJD), and what Jesus DID should be in HARMONY.

It’s hard for a leader to lead if they don’t know where to go next.

Too many of our leaders today do not lead; they copy. They don’t have the visionary gift, so they copy whoever seems to have a successful formula. The business world operates the very same way. Companies become successful once someone has proven they have a winning product, winning formula, and then a whole lot of other people follow.

However, the Body of Christ is not a business. And the thumb is not meant to copy the foot. The brain is sending out signals but only a few in the body seem to have true leadership. A few hear God’s voice so plainly, they know what their assignment is, and they are not concerned about what any other part of the Body is doing. This is the only way the Body of Christ will ever function as a healthy Body. All the parts have separate assignments which come together at one point at the top! Like a Teepee! The Head of the Church, the mind of Christ, a vision of not “where we are”, but “where we are going”!

Our ability to get to that place depends on each part of the Body doing their particular assignment, without any regard, envy, concern, comparing of numbers, or money, or platform, or fame. Peter wanted to know what would happen to John, and Jesus said, What is that to you? Ouch!

But what do leaders do who have no vision? Are they truly leaders? Are they misplaced in the Body of Christ and doing harm? How is it they do not know where the cloud is moving? How is it they are stuck in yesterday’s glory, but the glory has moved on? The Shadow of the Most High is moving but they have built a mansion that cannot move. A monster that must be fed or it eats them. And in most cases, is already eating them.

I couldn’t live that way anymore. So I came out from among them and focused strictly on the one point of “Godwalking” like Enoch, and even his descendant, Noah. Now God has me building a place, because he wants to take a people there.

Today’s message from God is different, and it must have a different kind of place, a new wine skin. Leaders who lack vision fear days like these. End time days. Days of the forge and the purge. Days demanding change, motion, and direction. Days demanding ministry that is fluid, flexible, and consistent like water.

God has speeded up the clock on me, and brought more of my focus on the Teepee. It’s becoming more plain every day that Indianapolis is not the place I’m sent. I’m leaving this place faster and faster every day to live in another place. Could there still be groups in Indianapolis? For sure. But more and more of my focus and time is rapidly moving in the direction of Whitestown. God has provided a place for something to be built, and I have put my hammer to it.

My vision of it is a “Prayer Garden/ School in the Wilderness”. And by faith I believe I have books still to be published teaching these things. The writer in me still has not fulfilled his mission, but the place must come first, and from there I will write the books, and for all this to happen I must live at least a few more years. I must have the faith of an “old age” ministry, and we shall see if I hear God, or not.

20180901_160723 The place I prepare is for small groups, individual fellowship and teaching, a Prayer Garden, a Table of Fellowship, a place of simplicity, a place different. A place to get your center back, and hear God for yourself.

God has placed the timetable for this in the hands of my parents, now well into their eighties. They like their privacy. Currently, they still call the shots on how much this place becomes public, while I keep building. A few have access at this time. Some are taking advantage, and some are not. Maybe they never will. But when the floods begin to come, we will see who are ready? We will see who has oil in their lamps and a light shinning, or they are just a copy of some man-made program.

A case can be made from the Bible, that God is big on the power of a “name”. I think every minister should know his flock well enough, that he could give you a name that fits you more than you even know. He could actually change your name to something better. Like Saul, who thought he was Saul, but God said… PAUL! My Apostle born out of season!

We need true leaders in our day who hear the voice of God even through all the roar of a country going mad with pride, lust, perversion and sin. Hearing the voice of God is more than being able to teach his Word or preach a good sermon. It’s about knowing where the Body of Christ is going next. Good journey everybody. Because the Body of Christ is a Body of motion. We go places and do things. We fight battles and live lean, so we can move freely, like any good soldier of Christ should be able to do. Be not entangled. Live free.

“Who Am I?”

20180811_135130           What does it all mean? – Part 4

“From the personal Journal of Grandpa White Feather”

8-17-18> I’ve always been this way. Because I took God very seriously at a young age, I’ve always been able to live life very unseriously.

Life for me has been an adventure. I’ve taken risks. I’ve broken this world’s “rules for success” over and over again in my pursuit of God, but yet somehow found great joy, peace, and fulfillment. My marriage is awesome and we somehow raised five great kids. But I’m still breaking rules and adventuring with God even right now, because I’ve always taken God and his Word very seriously. And I need to add this, what is adventure if it does not occasionally scare you? Must not be much of an adventure.

I’m the guy who all my life has taken some of my vacation time to get away from everyone and seek God. That may not sound like your kind of vacation, and for most, it would not be. I’ve done it camping at “The Dunes” in northern Indiana many times. I’ve done it on top of Mount Mitchell North Carolina at least 3 times. I’ve done it in New York City 3 times. I even visited the church pastored by David Wilkerson while there. I’ve done it at the Black Hills of South Dakota, even from Harney’s Peak, twice. I’ve done it without leaving home I don’t know how many times. I’ve journaled every day, talking to God, for the past twenty years.

I’ve experienced many churches over my 62 years. Everything from Holiness to Baptist to Pentecostal.  I tried to fit in, was even ordained in one, was offered to be ordained in another, but in the end left every one of them because I did not fit their vision of things. So either there is something wrong with me, or I simply have an appetite different.

At age 61 I went searching for the “Simplicity of Christ”, and I found a Table! I believe I found Revelation 3:20, that goes all the way back to Exodus 24:11, and probably even into the Garden of Eden itself… The Lord’s Table!

Even on the day of his betrayal, the day of preparation for Passover, he did not take his close spiritual family to a Temple, but to a Table, His Table. I have always felt like a person of simplicity in a world where church has become complex. They say in today’s world you cannot run a church without also knowing how to run a business. Sooner or later I’ve always left, and now I have a Tipi. (Of all things.) And its done nothing but cost me money, paid me nothing in monetary terms. But oh what a delight it is to me, oh His Presence I have felt, and God keeps providing. There has been no shish-boom-bah there, but the Wind, great peace, and a small still voice hard to hear in all the shish-boom-bah.

So last night I shared with a good friend, still in the last church I left, what I believe to be a pearl of great price, a revelation of “The Lord’s Table”. The shift from Temple to Table. A simplicity. And then I got scared. My head started asking questions like: How can it be that everyone else seems to have missed this? How can I be the only one, or the first to see? Surely I must be wrong. What if modern church is right? What if I’m misleading people? What if I mislead one of my best friends, or those who read this site?

Now I know I’m not the ONLY one. BUT… I seem to be the only one in my circles. And I don’t know how few our numbers really are. I know there is some kind of a movement happening, but in all my blogging so far, no one in my area seems to have popped up saying we’re over here! Can we join you? Or will you join us? (Know what I mean?)

So… I started playing back in my mind the journey and study that brought me here. I repeated quotes from early church fathers I’ve read concerning how the Lord’s Supper was done in their time. I looked again at the Bible description of the early church in Acts 2 and Paul’s description in First Corinthians 11. I rehearsed what I studied in early church history, where Polycarp, and the Asia Minor churches begin standing against the Bishop of Rome, because of changes he wants to make to the Easter weekend, because a thing we now call “Lent” seemed to be instituted. Big changes were being made in the way the Apostles all taught to observe the Lord’s Supper and the Christian Passover.

I remembered how the battle raged spiritually for many years, until a Roman Emperor named Constantine, claiming to be a Christian, but was obviously very CARNAL if Christian at all, was given great influence in the church, and things were never the same in the church again! I remembered what the church became! Proving the foolish choices of that time! Did we ever really go back and make things right?

I looked at the complexity of most modern churches today. I did not see the simplicity or the fellowship of the Lord’s Table. I saw complex Temples with “programs” of strategy more than prayer and sacrifice. Programs using worldly methods, like a business, more than simply waiting on the Lord. Name tag machines, stage lights, expensive budgets, shish-boom-bah, user friendly like the church of Constantine, coming to Christ for worldly benefits or emotional hype, not true conversion and sacrifice of self and sinful ways. And I realized whether scared or not, I simply could not stay silent, or go back to that way. I already tried too many times. And now, I have seen too much.

And I also realized, all the other teachers of God’s Word are still out there. All the other churches are still out there. No one is being forced to listen to me. I’m simply one voice out there offering something different, like a different restaurant for those of a different appetite, like me. The Lord will add to this movement if it be truly of Him. If there be a 2nd Reformation at hand. We force no one to come, no one to stay, we don’t even believe in a Membership role, a salary, or pass a plate. Part of our simplicity is people are free to come and go as much as they like, and I am open for church 24/7, or as much as my body allows. Our schedule is very flexible and even individual to a point. We seek for God to order our steps.

What I’m teaching is available for anyone to discredit if it be not the Word of God. I’m an open book not seeking to deceive or manipulate. I don’t ask for money. As a matter of fact, we don’t believe tithing is even a part of the New Covenant in Christ! He who gives more (percentage wise), will be blessed more. He who gives less is blessed less. But God is more than fair in all of it, and the leader of it. A message on tithing would have been somewhat meaningless in the early church, when they considered all their belongings common. I don’t think anyone but a Jew still under the law was even thinking in terms of a 10 percent. It was all about Loving Upward and Loving Outward.

Loving upward, and in the power of that loving outward also. That’s how Jesus explained the law in the two great Commandments. That is the laws God has given us. Even in our definition of sin. Do nothing that would cause your brother or sister to stumble. So are we perfect? No. But do we desire to be? Does God’s love put that desire in us? Yes! So be obedient to what God tells you to give. Give it to what God tells you to. And don’t forget the poor.

I don’t know why I’m seeing this different kind of church based on simplicity and the Lord’s Table. I don’t know why there are not thousands also seeing it? But try as I may, I don’t see this wrong. I see the modern church wrong, and I have chosen to stay with the exiles. I have felt led to offer an Exile Restaurant of spiritual food from an Exile Menu. For you see, we exiles, as in Exodus, have our eyes set more on tents than we do mansions. More on simplicity than we do complexity. More on a Table than we do a Temple. We have a taste for a different menu, perhaps locust and wild honey! It’s just where the appetite in me, takes me.

We don’t like it when a Pastor gets up and talks about Jesus not having a place to lay his head, but in the next breath promotes the Harley Davis motorcycle ride the men are having the very next weekend. That leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Not the dish I came to church to eat. Sure, I’d like a Harley too! But…that’s a lot of money, and I’ve got more important things to do. I don’t need that temptation, distraction, thrown at me. And especially not in the same breath about the simplicity of Christ!

So after “the fear”, the doubt, knowing I’m not that smart, how do I find myself seeing these things while everyone else says I’m “off track”. I began writing my feelings, and this is my journal writings of these things. Set your affections on things above, not on things of this earth. Lay not up for yourself treasures upon earth….but lay for yourselves treasures in heaven …. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

So what do you do when the advice of the “Many Counselors” seem to be against you? And those counselors are the same ones who find no problem with Harleys verses Homelessness in the same breath. What do you do when 20 doctors are saying give the patient this treatment before he dies, and you’re the only doctor saying, No, give him this treatment before he dies? Did not all these Bible characters experience the same thing from the experts of their time?

Noah, Abraham, Joseph, Moses, Samuel, David, Elijah, Elisha, Daniel and his friends, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, the minor prophets, John the Baptist, JESUS, all the Apostles, Polycarp, early church fathers, Asia Minor churches, Martin Luther, and how many others could be named? Revivals are happening in poor places around the world, places of simplicity, but not in America. We have asked the question over and over, and to that our experts provide another program, and shove more money at it.

Here’s the thing, it’s hard to argue against the information I have accumulated. I have seen first hand the power of this message, and that is what has scared me. I know how much this can affect people, and I don’t want to steer people wrong, but if the king were not so naked, if the king actually had clothes, then this message would not be so powerful! But because this modern king has no clothes, it’s very hard for him to defend himself, and this has given rise to people like…me. Of which I know I’m not the only one, but I wish I could find some others. Whether I do or not, this message must still go forth, and perhaps one day there will be others in this area, and those who are yet to follow will not find it quite so scary.

I have always been this way. Taking God’s Word more seriously than this present world itself. I know this life is but a vapor, this sets me free to break man made rules and adventure with God. It has been my way for 60 years. Take a walk on the wild side? This is Tent Life. It’s simple. It moves with God. It feels good to walk with God. For me, it’s that simple. And for this, I need a tent, not a mansion, or a Harley. The Passover meal was immediately followed by Tent Life for the Egypt enslaved Jews. Now that I’m in the Promised Land, I still prefer a spiritual tent.

Our Lord has many Tables. But some he likes more than others. And some tables he is near to leaving. Some he has already left. And some he was never there to begin with.

So after all this a great peace settled in, because, yes, it is a fearful thing to step out against what appears to be God’s church, even as it blasts the music of Micheal Jackson’s “Thriller” to the neighborhood. That which claims to be God’s church. How strange. Jesus did not use flashy things to fish for men. Evidently Jesus didn’t know much about fishing, and neither do I. I’m a simple teacher, who prays daily that if I be wrong, oh Lord, please let it be known. And in all this, a great peace has come.

Yesterday I sat outside my Tipi, under a shade tree, in a cool breeze, drinking black coffee and thinking white thoughts, such as these. Today, I share such thoughts with you. More to be treasured than silver and gold, the still small voice of our Lord.

I was surprised to find this year, that evidently I have a green thumb. Our garden has been a great delight. May God’s garden be, in each of us.

“McDonalds or Texas Roadhouse?”

“What does it all mean?” Part 3

20180606_124330

God has given me such a picture of how it all comes together, and my place in that picture. At first I certainly was not sure. There was no need to have another church sitting on another street corner that was just another version of what basically everybody else was already doing. That was the way I felt. And yet, I could not seem to find a church that fit the hunger in my belly.

So God has given me analogies of a spiritual civil war, and perhaps a 2nd Reformation, but to get even more detailed and more specific, he spoke to me just this morning of Restaurants. Different churches are like different restaurants. Some places are McDonalds and White Castles. Some are greasy spoons and Truck Stops. Some are Chinese or Mexican, or perhaps Italian. There’s Taco Bell and Subway. There’s also Texas Roadhouse and fine steak places. There are meals as fancy as you want to get if you’re willing to pay for them. But what is your church? Have you even thought about it?

All have something to offer. All will put food in your belly. And all will have different effects on your body and future health. Your physical future. Are you sure about what your church is serving? They all will put food in your belly, but is it making you strong, or on your way to a heart attack and expensive hospital bill? Do they have a vision truly inspiring, filling you with joy, peace, and passion? Do you feel alive? Or more like a robot, a zombie, going through motions as if alive, but not really. Just another rat-race, not a family.

So I asked God how to describe FWP, (Fellowship of the White Path), in terms of a restaurant of spiritual food. First of all, it was very plain we are not a McDonalds on every corner. We’re more like a family owned, one of a kind in the town, unique place that when suddenly discovered, some decide to make a regular part of their life. We are a piece of variety in the body of Christ. Presently, most people don’t know we exist, but word of mouth is slowly spreading. To be honest, I have not really worked that hard on evangelizing yet, as I have been busy perfecting our particular specials. I’ve had a lot of facts and details needing discovered and simplified. Those then become our special ingredients we mix into the menu we offer for your dining experience.

In some ways, with our emphasis on fellowship and family, we’re almost like a spiritual Tavern. For many lost people, a tavern has become their fellowship and family, their church. They don’t want the formality of church, but they connect and socialize at a local tavern. Every week they get with their buddies and see how life is treating them. Perhaps share sad stories, or unexpected victories, but they become a sort of family. A family of darkness, not drawn to God’s light, but it is the closest thing to church for them. Perhaps FWP is comparable to a Tavern of Light.

But all churches are to be a place for spiritual food and fellowship centered on God as our Father, Jesus as our Savior, and the Holy Spirit as our Teacher. God has spread an incredible TABLE before us, but every restaurant seems to have their own particular “menu”. Or specials.  Cracker Barrel have their specials, and usually a different one for every day of the week. How would you describe yours? What are the “specials” on the menu of your church? For example, King theology or Priest/Servant? There are many possibilities.

Here’s how I would describe some of the “specials” on the menu of FWP. First of all we have our “Missing Years Special”, because here is where it all started for me. Here is where I found the answers inspiring me to create another spiritual restaurant because there was a hunger for such a menu. By this I mean, what happened in those approximately 250 years before the Catholic church grew stronger and stronger? What happened with the men the Apostles directly discipled and established as Bishops of the early churches? How did that early Apostolic church somehow become Catholic? And why are our modern churches so silent on all this?

As we were developing our “Missing Years Menu”, I discovered an early church split concerning “The Lord’s Supper/ Passover Meal”! I learned that the Rome Bishop wanted to change from what the Apostles had instructed to continue! So now I had to develop a “Lord’s Supper/ Passover Special” on our menu, dealing directly with that. People are very hungry for both these specials. These particular meals were very hard to come up with before the Internet made the secret ingredients so readily available.

After taking a closer look at the description of the early church in the Book of Acts, and also Paul’s description in First Corinthians 11, I realized that “Fellowship”, “Meals”, and “The Lord’s Supper” was very high on God’s list for his church!   So…of course we had to put a heavy emphasis on our “Fellowship Special”! Which is one reason we do not even refer to our “Fellowship” as a church, but a “Fellowship”. “Fellowship of the White Path”. Jesus walked the Red Path of his blood, so we could walk the White Path of his fellowship.

For the early church, the Lord’s Supper was also known as “The Welcoming Table”, and this week I am about to try a new special, for the very first time at our Fellowship, of “The Lord’s Welcoming Table” in someone’s home whom we have just begun to disciple. I really believe this special will have a powerful effect that few have considered. I hope it becomes a regular meal on our menu.

We also have our “2nd Reformation Special” where we consider if the church really went back to precatholic ways in the 1st Reformation, or have we simply slipped from those ways in our modern days? Are we in the beginning of a 2nd Reformation? And what does it look like? It looks like a TABLE. Is this TABLE taking us back to homes?

And one more special. What I call our “First Corinthians 11 and Angels Special”, because somehow this one chapter actually sums up where God started and ended with me, concerning the journey we made. Somehow this one chapter literally highlights the two main points God showed me, without any other points involved. It is literally my journey in a capsule form, but that chapter taken by itself could scare you away, if not having the other specials on the menu with it. So…wow…don’t eat this plate alone!

Now of course there is much more on our menu besides these specials, like Ezekiel Chapter 8! But only by eating a few meals at our TABLE could you come to know the total affect of our spiritual FOOD and FELLOWSHIP. We do have a building, sort of, still under construction but usable, and of all things it is a “Tipi”! LOL. Which is a picture of beams, long legs all leaning together at a single point, Christ Jesus, and all made stronger because we come together in fellowship in HIM.

So from our Tipi building and spiritual retreat, our School in the Wilderness, our unique specials, the fact we are not a chain restaurant, but currently very small, unknown, and unique, we are definitely not found on every corner of your town. I would love to be in as many homes a possible, as the Good Lord would decide, but this is us, another place of unique fellowship and food in Christ, which God’s body has to offer.

Whether you choose to eat with us at this blog site, or if we ever sit at a real table together, FWP is open for fine spiritual food dining intended to make you all you can be in Christ. We hope to fulfill a hunger that is perhaps being overlooked in our modern day. I hope you find our food to your taste, and in the mean time we will keep cooking and spreading a table for those who do. This has been brought to you by “Fellowship of the White Path”. I am but a simple teacher who calls himself Grandpa White Feather, maybe because I just felt led of God to do so. Reach for God’s Sword, and make a difference where you live.

“What does it all mean?” Part II

Punching the Bible
The Passover Meal was the beginning of  “Tent Life” for the Jews. Think about it.

My deep mood, my spiritual contemplation continues. Do we have any New Testament scriptures to verify the “Tent Life” message the Lord’s Supper seems to connect with? Yes. Many actually. But at this moment the Apostle Paul instructing Timothy to not be entangled in the affairs of “this life” comes to my mind.

Tent Life? Does that really connect to the Lord’s Supper? I mean, aren’t we stretching things a bit? What about me living like a king?

Our modern church has such a different emphasis than the early church fathers. It is amazing to me how many ways I see the emphasis has been shifted to a different syllable of our Lord’s teaching, causing it to be slightly off from the truth. Ever so slightly, but enough. Is the Passover connected to a Tent Life? YES, it is. But how much of that emphasis have you heard on Easter Sunday? And what does it mean for us? Do we even realize the Lord’s Supper is the Passover fulfilled?

In the next few paragraphs I’m going to try and describe the way the disciples experienced the 3 days of our Lord’s crucifixion, compared to how you and I of the modern church have most likely experienced it. Some might call the changes small, but I think God would call them HUGE.

For the disciples and the early church, it all starts with a meal. It also marked the beginning of a New Year for them. The 14th of Nissan. This meal would happen on what we call “Good Friday”. Jesus had his Passover Meal on Thursday night, as a Jewish clock ran from sunset to sunset, and he would be dying on a cross later that day. But it was an intimate “meal”, with his close spiritual “family”, which then easily flowed into what we call the Communion, the bread and wine of his body and blood. Jesus establishing his body and blood as the payment for a perfect covenant with God the Father, ended that meal. This is what the disciples experienced on Good Friday, a meal full of, and overflowing with MUCH meaning.

Not only were the disciples thinking about New Years resolutions (perhaps). By this I mean perhaps they have the same desire as many of us at New Years, to do better, how can I do better this year? But the Passover Meal was the beginning of 7 Days of Unleavened Bread. In other words, their New Year began with a whole week of thinking about getting the sin out of their life for this New Year. Now does any of this compare to what we have experienced every Easter at our church?

You see, a big contention arose a little past 100 AD., and the Bishop of Rome wanted to make some small changes. Evidently, what we call “Lent” developed during this time, which includes some kind of fasting. This Lent, and this fasting, began to interfere with what the Apostle John and other Apostles had taught Bishop Polycarp to continue as the Passover meal. A Christian form of the Passover Meal I should specify. This began many years of church and doctrine battle, but around 300 AD, with the help of a heathen Emperor named Constantine, the Rome Bishops evidently finally got their way.

So after all these years, what we have today, has become something more like this: “Maybe” you are doing Lent. “Maybe” your church might do a special Friday service of some sort, possibly emphasizing prayer, and you “might” go. Or you might just have your normal Friday night at home. Or maybe you’re preparing for an Easter Egg hunt and sun worship. But for many, Friday night is really not all that different. Maybe you’re out shopping for a new dress, because a lot of people really “dress up” for Easter Sunday. But it is for sure you’re not likely having a Passover Meal as Jesus DID, and so DID the disciples, and so DID the early church fathers.

As a matter of fact, we are most likely preparing to cram everything into one big day on Sunday. And when Sunday comes we will not be thinking about 7 Days of Unleavened Bread. We will not be thinking about getting sin out of our life and the beginning of a New Year, spiritually speaking. And we will somehow give proper remembrance to the Lord’s “DEATH”, even as we somehow manage to celebrate his RESURRECTION, all in the same Sunday morning, which may include a Sunrise service you may have drug yourself out of bed for if you are the really dedicated.

Now there are many shifts of emphasis here, of which I can only target a few in any one article. But one I find very interesting, and is a perfect example of how slight these shifts seem to be in our own mind, and yet may be HUGE in the mind of God! Paul says this in I Corinthians 11: 26>

“For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord’s DEATH till he come.”

For many many years I never thought about this small statement of emphasis. Yes, I remembered the Lord’s death on Easter even as we were also rushing to his resurrection celebration. But as I study the early church fathers, the emphasis is totally on his death and the cross! For instance, on Sunday they would have also been still into the 7 Days of Unleavened Bread. Yes, they are happy the Lord has resurrected, without which we have no hope of real salvation! But remember, the early church fathers also did not preach once saved always saved. The Unleavened Bread they were eating was a constant reminder that if they continued in a life of sin, they would not receive that resurrection! It was not a “done deal”! He that endures to the end! That Unleavened Bread was a reminder of the “Tent Life” their forefathers were rescued out of Egypt (worldliness), and delivered into the wilderness to learn to die to self! A crossing and a cross! And carry what they learned in the wilderness, into the Promised Land! Have we forgotten?

Now consider this. What DID Jesus do on Sunday? Was he celebrating his resurrection? No! He was talking about SIN! Mary Magdalene discovers him in the garden and is ready to rush into a resurrection celebration and Jesus says: “Touch me not, for I have not yet ascended to my Father: but go to…”

What is he ascending to the Father to do? PUT HIS BLOOD ON THE MERCY SEAT OF THE HEAVENLY TABERNACLE!

Touch me not! For I have not yet ascended and poured the blood of my sacrifice, for the forgiveness of your SINS, on the Ark of the Covenant in heaven!

Later that same day he appears to the disciples and breathed on them to receive the Holy Spirit! And then says this >

“Whosoever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whosoever sins ye retain, they are retained.”

Totally different emphasis than we see today. Of course, the Lord would have also been thinking about the 7 Days of Unleavened Bread, and of course we ARE NOT. We’re thinking about some eggs, or perhaps the after church Big Mac. And we’re not even at all aware that this is how we are starting our spiritual New Year. And we no longer have “Lord Supper Meals”, also called the Lord’s Welcoming Table, as such all year long. But we have the short-form bite of bread or wafer, and a thimble of juice. And we also do not realize if the colored eggs are combined with our church, we are in sun-worship. As a matter of fact, in my opinion, after the studies I have made, having an emphasis on resurrection and not his death, may in itself be a form of sun worship. Both Winter Solstice (Christmas), and Easter were Roman heathen festivals worshiping the “Rising” and “Unconquerable sun god”. Also a Prosperity god. Hhmmm. And if you see no danger in this, then once again I recommend reading Ezekiel 8, where God leaves Jerusalem, and is with the Exiles. Wow.

There is a big time gap in the knowledge of church history for most Christians. We have the “Missing Years”, the “Void”, of how we got from the description of the early church in Acts, to the description of church by Apostle Paul in I Corinthians 11, to a big leap around the time of Constantine and the Catholic church. Wow! What happened? Then we know of the “dark days” and the Protestants revolt against the Catholic which eventually got us to 2018. And this is how we have always done things. It must be alright. And yet we have no knowledge of what happened in those very important days of the early church fathers to whom the torch was passed directly from Apostles. And we have no curiosity? We have no passion to be concerned?

I can only say, whether I was a poor student, or ALL my Pastor’s were very poor teachers, if I had been given a test on those “Missing Years”, or even on a proper Lord’s Supper and Passover, I WOULD HAVE FLUNKED! BIG FAT “F”! And my understanding now, may only be at a D+ level. But I am now doing my best to make these things the template for what I call church. For me, church is about a TABLE, that the devil managed to shift us away from and back to stone temples. That TABLE goes VERY DEEP and affects many things. I’m still discovering new affects every day.

For example, there has been a new convert to Christ I’m trying to disciple; but so far it has been rather slow and difficult. Just yesterday I suddenly realized the best way to “show” this guy what it all really means, and get him on the right track quickly, IN HIS OWN HOME, is the LORD’S WELCOMING TABLE! Of which I plan to perform my first outreach in this particular way this coming up week. And I am SO excited! I can hardly wait.

So… “What’s it all mean?” As this series continues we will look deeper and deeper as to what did Jesus do? What did the early church do? And then each of us must decide if these details, these slight shifts of emphasis, are more important than we realize? In the meantime, keep praying, keep studying, stay involved with Christian fellowship, i.e. Church, and ask yourself, W.W.J.D.. And hopefully, what you understand as what Jesus WOULD do, will be in complete harmony with what Jesus DID do. Seek and ye shall find. Ask and it shall be given. Knock and it shall opened. Is that not what God hath said?

warfare

We’re still looking at the “Sword of the Spirit”, our main offensive weapon in our Armor of Light. And as we have been in this series, something very special happened last night. I left my last church a year and a half ago, and when I did I also left one of the best friends I’ve ever had. We go way back over 40 years.

When I say “I left”, I don’t mean we left on bad terms or ended our friendship, but suddenly we hardly saw each other. I had taken a different fork in the road. Not only was I going a different way physically speaking, but also spiritually, because I entered what is being called the 2nd Reformation. I began having a different perspective on what church should be, and I knew if I shared my thoughts, it would be hard for him to hear. I knew if he read the things I was writing, not only might it be hurtful, but even make a lot of lesser men angry. So we had not really had a good-honest-sharing of the heart-get together in over a year and a half, but last night it happened.

Here is how I approached it with him. I used the American Civil War. In this war where brother actually fought brother, and brother even killed brother, I asked: What if we had ended up on opposite sides? If we came face to face on that battlefield, would our friendship allow us to step aside out of sight, and share each others views without killing each other? He said he liked to believe we could. I felt the same.

Then I posed it a different way. I said, what if we had lived during the Reformation? What if I had remained a Catholic and you became a Protestant? Would we have still been able to come together and talk about our differences, our heart-felt beliefs, without getting mad and destroying our friendship? Again, we both liked to think we could.

God’s timing always amazes me. I did not know as we began our study of the Sword, that I was also going to draw that Sword. I’m not talking about my friend, but I’m talking about this blog site, our Fellowship, and the Church as a whole. I suddenly realized with our last article that I had actually declared Civil War on the modern church system. I have been writing such things for a while now, but I never thought the message would keep getting stronger, or become the focus of my mission.

I was very slow at publishing the article previous to this one, because I felt like I was crossing a line I needed to be very sure about. I did a lot of praying that day. I reread the article like 10 times! But by the end of the day, that night, the leading was still there, shoot it forth. And I did. I crossed that line. I knew I had. And then, last night I finally got to share my true thoughts with my friend without trying to guard every word I spoke. He at least now really knows where I stand, and what beliefs I am standing upon. He knows I have done my homework, and not carelessly jumped into something. Now whether I have done my homework “correctly” or not, is another question. And he may need a lot of time to search that out, as I have.

I also never thought of it as a 2nd Reformation until I saw someone else say it in their blog site. And then I realized why that seems to be true! So I asked my friend, last night, what was the technological advancement that helped to cause the Reformation? He answered correctly about the invention of the Printing Press, which eventually got God’s Word into the hands of the common man, and the Catholic church could no longer control the knowledge the common people were learning!

So then I asked him what is the technological advancement that is having the same effect today? At first he did not get it. I don’t think he even had thought in terms of a 2nd Reformation going on. So I added, just as the Printing Press made new knowledge available to the masses of that day, what has done the same today? Then he got it. The Internet. But he still didn’t understand what the new knowledge was, until I explained to him I had been able to download 5000 pages of writing by early church fathers while setting in my recliner and never leaving my room! In ten seconds time I had the writings of people directly discipled by the Apostles themselves, and put into positions by the Apostles themselves, and all the knowledge they had shared, which for some reason our modern church has avoided sharing! This too is God’s Sword! God’s Sword is truth, knowledge, light! God is all about enlightenment in actual truth! LET THERE BE LIGHT!

Jesus said I have not come to bring peace into the world, but a sword! (Matt. 10:34) (A Sword of LIGHT!)

Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.”

It had been a long time since my friend and I had had a conversation like that, where I had been able to speak of things most on my heart. His and my wife were visiting in another room and we were in the man-cave. They were talking children and shopping; we were talking hard steel and fire!

I had a special movie planned, and we brought in Chinese food and shared “Table” together. The “special” movie is a Christian film called: “Masterless”. Believe it or not, it is like a Samurai version of Pilgrim Progress! It’s a totally unique film that thinks outside the box. Of course, a Samurai Sword plays a big part in the show, as a Ronin Samurai seeks truth, and a master. I love this movie! I tried to show it to my friend over a year and half ago! But last night it finally happened! (Good things come to those who wait and pray!)

So…… Is there a 2nd Reformation going on? I believe there is. Human nature still the same, set up the same circumstances of new knowledge coming into the hands of the common person, history repeats itself, truth always having the same effect, the axe is poised over the modern day worldly church still heavily involved in sun worship, god of prosperity! (We even call it the Prosperity Gospel. How sad is that?)

Is there a Civil War just beginning to really be visible to the average eye? I believe there is. But I praise God that some of us have friendships able to survive even Civil Wars! After all, we are Christians, right? And we war different, right? Those who are true, do. Those who are not, may not! So watch out!

What a night it was for us. I still bask in the glow of the memory of it this morning. And today, we have another Baptism! My friend, Jason, who has been a devout Catholic all his life, now sees we need to get back to something predating both the Catholic and the Protestant churches! We need to get back to what Jesus DID! And he was not sprinkled! No more “short-forming” what Jesus DID! He was fully submerged under the water in a symbol of death! And the Lord’s “Supper” is a “Supper”! Not a tiny little white something and a tiny thimble of juice! How could our God of abundance ever call that a supper?

These things only touch the tip of the iceberg as to the “deep” changes it has caused in the church, and how far we have drifted from what Jesus DID. I have written of these details in many articles of this site. I hope to do a sidebar, soon, that list the articles specifically relating to the “journey” I have made in my own searching for answers. This will make it possible, notice I’m not saying “easy”, for a disciple must “learn”, and we’re not looking for “easy”, we’re looking for “light”, and this will make it “possible” for a true disciple, a true warrior, to make the very same journey I have made, “if they so desire”.

Welcome to “Fellowship of the White Path”. I am Grandpa White Feather. I seek for a tribe of “Godwalkers”, an Enoch people. May God Almighty Himself raise up such a people! He has! He is! And He continues to do so! So says Grandpa White Feather, a simple teacher of God’s Word.
