Sky or dirt? / Skypeople.

Soar more and flap less.

“But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.” (Gal. 5:16-18 ESV)

The flesh is like the force of gravity, it constantly wants to pull us to the dirt. However, God has given us wings to mount up with if we wait upon Him, to serve Him, to be samurai in Christ. We can live above it all. We are called to such a life, a priesthood dedicated to sky. We are called to be spiritual Jews in a world full of Gentiles! Our actions and lifestyle prove which we are.

You do not overcome gravity without effort. Who are these weak Christians who claim to follow Christ? Chickens have wings but fail to develop them. They scratch in dirt and live in cages. This may sound hard, but eagles eat chickens. They also love to kill snakes. I watched a hawk take out a pigeon one day. I saw a puff of feathers in the sky. Are we a bird of prey, or pigeon? Eagles live a life of wing, and are not weak, or fearful.

I see Christians so full of fear. Every day they are the slaves of their fears and desires. They are pulled back and forth between fear and desire. Constantly pulled and sometimes almost ripped in two! Where is the contentment God spoke of? Where is the peace that passes understanding? Where is the fruit of the Spirit they claim to serve and love? Their flesh is contrary to them and they do not do the things they should. They scratch in the dirt and live in cages.

I love the Sermon on the Mount, in Matthew 5-7. So many people claim to love the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus preached: (6:19)“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven…” (VRS 21) > For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

We are called to a life above, in the high places. Yes, I preach a mountain living, eagle mentality, warrior vision Christianity. I call my house church a Holy Spirit Dojo. So far our members are very few, which makes my job easier, and there’s no money involved, nothing tempting me to compromise the message. But I watch people suffering in that tug of war between their flesh and spirit. God has all your answers in the high places, but most refuse to climb God’s mountain! They are busy climbing this world’s.

We love our flesh. We love our comfort zones. We even love money because it brings pleasures to our flesh, so we run, run, run, chasing all the things the Gentiles seek, even though we claim to be spiritual Jews living in Skykingdom? And God watches us suffer. Then we blame God, but God knows the truth. Do you?

“Therefore do not be anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or What shall we drink? or What shall we wear? For the GENTILES seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek FIRST the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” (6:31-33)

Yes…we all claim to love and live the Sermon on the Mount. Blessed are the poor, they that mourn, they that are persecuted, and etc.. Are we living above or below? Wing or flesh? Eagle or chicken? Hawk or pigeon? If you’re walking around naked and unarmed, you are not a bird of prey. The Bible still says to be STRONG in the Lord, and the POWER of His MIGHT! This is the will of God. Be weak in our flesh, but strong in the Lord!

Choose you this day whom you will serve. prepare yourself in the Spirit! Dawn the Armor of Light! Fill yourself with the Word of God so a Sword comes forth from your mouth against the unseen enemy! Live in the high places, so that you can be a vessel of God’s power in the low places where the Gentiles live. This is our calling in Christ! Be samurai for Christ! Be a priesthood, not just another unsaved, unchanged, Gentile. Selah!
